"A New Jersey city’s council member, Russell Heller, was shot dead in his car, coming about a week after another New Jersey council member was killed, officials said.
Heller, 51, was found shot and killed outside of his vehicle at the PSE&G facility in Franklin Township, the Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office said. Heller, a Republican, was a senior distribution supervisor at PSE&G, according to reports.
“The Milford Borough Council is deeply saddened by the loss and our hearts go out to his family,” Milford Mayor Henri Schepens told the New Jersey Star Advance publication. “He was so full of life, it’s just unbelievable that he’s gone. Something like this has never happened in borough history. We are very shaken by this.”
A week ago, Sayreville Councilwoman Eunice Dwumfour, also a Republican, was shot and killed inside her SUV outside her home about 15 miles away. Her home is located about 15 miles away from where Heller, a council member for the city of Milford, was reportedly killed.
The Somerset County Prosecutor’s Office, in a statement issued Wednesday, indicated that the shooting appears to be an “isolated incident.” An investigation into the matter is ongoing, officials said."

The NJ council member killings are really peculiar, and very under-reported. That said, the second one seems to have been a work related (coworker at least) murder / suicide, so probably coincidental. Still, they were only Republicans, so... .

And how many out there sill thing Hunter's laptop is Russian disinformation? Or that Trump colluded with the Russians? Of course, if he was working for the Russians, the first thing he would have done as POTUS is shut down oil and gas exploration so Russia could get more money for their product. And you know who did that, don't you? Brain addled Biden.
I suspect the average Democrat thinks the only reason we aren't all driving electric automobiles is because of the evil greedy oil companies. (The same ones still hiding the 100 MPG carburetor...) I mean, really, how hard is it to build an infinitely rechargeable lightweight battery that can take you and your vehicle 500 miles no matter the weather and recharge in 10 minutes or less? They have no clue about how a battery actually works. And no idea that a bullet tearing through a fully charged battery is going to release a whole lot more energy all at once then that same bullet going through a full gasoline tank. I'm waiting for an accident where an electic vehicle's battery integrity is completly destroyed and all the stored energy is released at once. Going to be an exciting time for everyone nearby. Chuck says, “The Bulwark demolishes the story here” I’m not sure the quotes demolish the story at all. Direct quotes in the Bulwark article from former Israeli Prime Minister Bennett: “Bennett: Basically, yes. They broke off negotiations and I thought they were wrong. In retrospect, it’s too soon to know.” and “In real time I thought the right thing was a ceasefire, now I can’t say. . . . ” It would be nice to see the full transcript although it might not help.
In other words, it wasn’t the United States or Western countries or NATO that ended any peace talks, such as they were. Rather, it was, first and foremost, Russia’s bloody escalation of the violence.
So much depends on Bulwark mind-reading of what happened in the minds of negotiators.
One can certainly wish Bennett had been clearer in his interview about who ended the negotiations and how. (It seems unlikely that “they” refers only to the United States, since elsewhere in the interview Bennett depicts the Biden administration as occupying the middle ground between the “hawks” and the “doves” and suggests that Boris Johnson was the only “hawk.”)
Then for the coup de grace on those who haven't been nudged into believing The Bulwark's fabricated conclusion, it adds this stunning denouement:
It’s unsure there was any deal to be made. At the time I gave it roughly a 50% chance. Americans felt chances were way lower. Hard to tell who was right.. - Bennet
So their was no deal ready with the ink dry, and the blotter at hand to be signed, and the Americans were grumbling about it, this is the *PROOF* that the west didn't scuttle the negotiations.
Chuck, I wouldn't hire you to search a title, I am beginning to doubt that you are even a lawyer.
I don't doubt that the Bucca massacre was an event in all of this, it's just that the way the nazis had four days in Bucca to cook it up, when a massacre was in no way in Russia's best interests, and there is plenty of evidence that the Ukrainian nazis were behind it, that it was a reprisal against residents of Bucca who welcomed the Russians, we have seen this kind of stuff elsewhere in Ukraine, you don't really want me to post a video of civilians being executed and dumped into a ditch after the Ukes took back Kherson, do you? Oh yeah, these are the same nazis who assassinated one of the Ukrainian negotiators afterwards for "collaboration with the Russians."
"Bennett understood to mean the removal of Volodymyr Zelensky as president of Ukraine"
No, Russia never said this. It's important to listen carefully to one's adversaries. Russia wanted the removal of the nazis who are controlling Zelensky. You know, the ones who assassinate people who don't get with the pogrom, oops, I meant to say "program," not sure how that slipped in there. Maybe all of this talk of expelling hundred of thousands of ethnic Russians from Crimea, which has been Russian for 200 years?
But overall, it's maybe a fair assessment to say that the Ukrainian nazis did not want any kind of deal to happen, and that they have a lot of control over the government, so on balance, and ignoring the incoherent arguments of the Bulwark article, I would have to now agree that the Ukrainian Nazis were at least as instrumental in ending the negotiations as their collaborators and allies in the US and the UK government.
The war all three wanted was afoot, and they wanted to give it time to play out.

Andrew Cuomo blasts Biden over migrant crisis: ‘The southern states were right’
“It was a mistake for President Biden to open the border without having a plan to handle the tremendous flow of people,” Cuomo, 65, said in the latest episode of his “Matter of Fact” podcast, released Wednesday.
“President Biden had said he would do it in the campaign — but you can’t change a policy unless you have the program in place to manage the change,” he continued, referencing Biden’s reversal of Trump-era restrictions on immigration to the US.
There are lots of videos out there of Ukrainian hypernationalists dreaming of what the future will be like when the borders of Ukraine, as drawn by the Soviet Union, are populated end to end with Ukrainians, like France is with, I hope nobody is offended by this next locution, the French. This is the purpose of the war for them, and this war is their best chance to achieve that dream, and if they fail, their lifelong dream is crushed. They are none to scrupulous, either, of the means which they will use to achieve this dream.
Here is a video from Ukrainian national TV, way before this war, where a guest calmly asserts that ethnic cleansing of the Russian will be required, as people "nobody has any use for." and that "at least 1.5 million of them are superfluous." Who funded this TV network? The US.
The US neocons are using these people, in our name, as a proxy against Russia, as a way to contain Russia, and have been stirring up trouble in Ukraine, and actually put the nazis in charge in Ukraine in 2014. Neocons pushing this agenda are the people who believed it essential that Joe Biden became president.
" the mechanics of the accusation,"
The mechanics of it were that the US and Europe would refuse to sign off on any security agreements in the deal. It's not that hard. It's not that Zelensky is not a beggar, or that beggars can be choosers.
Have we seen any satellite images of Bucca immediately after the Russians left? That would settle a lot of questions, all we have is the word of people who have been led around by Ukrainian minders, talked to people selected by the minders, well after they had plenty of time to dress the set for the show. We have satellites that can read license plates on moving cars, after all. I am not asking for something that is impossible to get, or is not within the power of our own government to provide.
LLR Chuck: “The Bulwark demolishes the story here”
LOL
Too funny. The Bulwark must be reimbursing LLR Chuck by the pixel and link. What a laughable disgrace!
It's all BS naturally, as it always is per the demands of the far left billionaires that fund the Bulwark.
And did anyone else catch this:
LLR and Whitmer Fanboy Chuck: "Turns out the Hall of Fame cast of TrumpWing bozos fomented this in their fever swamp (a/k/a Elon Musk's Twitter); included were Rep. Thomas Massie of Kentucky, high school graduate and world troll Michael Tracey, and Elon "Concerning" Musk."
Hmmmmm, Banned Commenter LLR Chuck calls out 3 people by name...but for some strange reason (wink wink) only 1 has his educational background listed.
I wonder why that might be?
Gee Chuck, why didn't you include the academic bona fides of Elon Musk and Thomas Massie? Did you forget to include those? Would you like another shot at it?
Looks like the LLR Chuck smear machine is already at full throttle and we are only in Feb of 2023!
BTW, congrats to the "TrumpWing" "bozo" Elon Musk for yesterday's 31 raptor engine static fire on Booster 7 which represents, far and away, the most powerful rocket ever to be tested in the history of the world.
One can't help but notice that the democraticals/LLR's bestest buddy allies, the ChiComs, are racing against time to steal and replicate the astonishing and unprecedented success of "TrumpWing" "bozo" Elon Musk's SpaceX achievements.
As for Thomas Massie, BS in electrical engineering and MS in mechanical engineering from....MIT. That's some "bozo"! Massie's list of academic and real world achievements are too long to list here, but incredibly impressive.
LLR Chuck "forgot" (wink wink) to list them himself. And remember, LLR Chuck prides himself on his exacting precision in language and facts (LOL, yes, I know, I owe you all new keyboards!) so he wouldn't just ignore relevant info there, would he?...........
Other notable "high school" graduates who never completed college: Michael Dell, Steve Jobs, Julian Assange, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, John Mackey, Larry Ellison...you get the drift.
Hey, that's alot of "bozos"!
And note that LLR Chuck now calls Twitter a "fever swamp"! Because that's what the lefty foot soldiers have been ordered to do! And LLR Chuck is the very "best" of left wing foot soldiers.
tim in vermont: "Chuck, I wouldn't hire you to search a title, I am beginning to doubt that you are even a lawyer."
Now don't sell our LLR Chuck short here.
LLR Chuck didn't "miss" any relevant facts. At least give him the "credit" he deserves: He's openly and knowingly lying and smearing people again to advance the interests of his democratical party.
After all, LLR Chuck has always been kind enough, during his gin and tonic soaked rage posting, to let us know precisely what he is up to and why.

Other notable "high school" graduates who never completed college:
Michael Dell, Steve Jobs, Julian Assange, Bill Gates, Mark Zuckerberg, John Mackey, Larry Ellison...you get the drift.
"The Bulwark demolishes the story here:"
OK, this deserves a full on fisking...
Why? Why waste a second of your time dealing with his stupid bullshit?
Ignore him.

There is footage made by National Guard of Ukraine special forces unit that was the first to enter the city after Russian withdrawal.
https://vk.com/video-212435872_456239017
This footage shows a lot of destruction but only one dead body, clearly Russian soldier.
Footage with dead bodies littering the same streets that National Guard troops went through earlier emerged in a day or two afterwards.
