re: Biden’s second tranche of stolen classified documents - nothing from the left happens without purpose or plan, so what’s next? Declare Biden and Trump ineligible for office so they can kill two birds with one stone?

A source close to the investigation told me that the top secret documents in Biden's offices contained the nuclear codes.

White Lotus. I get it. Rich people are shallow and horrible. White people are shallow and horrible. But maybe it's just people who are horrible and shallow. Or maybe real people aren't quite so simple and caricaturish. I'd like to think so.

A severe landscape indeed.

Tweet by @ShellenbergerMD:

Many think social media companies only censored "vaccine misinformation." But a recently-released email shows Facebook reassuring the White House that they were censoring "often-true content” that "does not contain actionable misinformation" but was "discouraging vaccines."

What if I told you the mRNA vax rollout was just a medical trial for new products

Medical trials are expensive, but if you can get the gov to pay for it, anything that comes out of it is like free money.

If they get sick on the old stuff the gov paid for, they'll come to us again for the new stuff, and this time, health insurance will have to pay. Win-Win.

The Russians are claiming to have captured a town and the Ukrainians say they haven't.

This video is from Ukrainian soldiers in that town, Soledar and it shows something of the war. As you can see this not a matter of lines of trenches but still there are trenches or dugouts somewhere; there's tired soldiers; there's drones; there's a Russian patrol. Yet I know that without past experience, translations and captioning I would have no idea what I was looking at. I've been to the site where I found this video and they've been accurate always before.

Regarding President Trump vs President Biden classified documents: I have not heard a discussion on the National Archives role in this. They seemed to be a driving force in Trump's case, going to the DoJ about the files that the archives believed were in Trump's possession. Why did this not happen with Biden at the end of Biden's vice-presidency?

There could be an entirely innocent explanation.
It could be simple incompetence.
It could be partisanship on the part of the Archives.
Or maybe during Biden's time as vice-president he or his staff did not follow legally required records-keeping/reporting such that the archive did not know he possessed those documents.

Thoughts?

Bob Vila lists the top 25 Snowplow names. I like "Ctrl Salt Delete" and "Weird Plow Yankovic." And who could overlook "The Abominable Snowplow?"

VT’s snowplows are named by the kids in the elementary schools. I think e/school “adopts” a snowplow and gives it a name. It’s kind of cool- a community builder.

Very different coloration in those 2pics.

Interesting article I read recently that all the house Dems had to to do was have 20 or so of their members vote present early on in the McCarthy vote and they would have not had to deal with the concessions extracted by the freedom caucus. Instead they voted in lockstep 15 times for Hakeem "The Dream" Jeffries. Bad move.

Historian Michael Beschloss and and Director of the CIA Michael Hayden have not yet called for Biden’s execution. WHY NOT?? They did for Trump who was the President and actually had standing to declassify, which Biden did not.

Both should be shamed for their obvious bias. THEY are the problem in this country.

"This video is from Ukrainian soldiers in that town,"

At the time of that video, Russia said that there were about 500 soldiers left there, who had been told to surrender or die. Well, let me know if you see any more videos from that guy. Ukraine is now mining railroad bridges in and out of Bakhmut. Unrelated to any planned retreat, I am sure.

One of the things that turned me off on Ukraine, aside from the fact that I had been following events there for several years, since they interfered in the 2016 election, and since impeachment originated there, and so down the rabbit hole I went. But other than my long standing awareness of naziism in Ukraine, and their connection with the events of Charlottesville, what really turns me off about Ukraine is the obvious lies.

If you really want to help Ukraine, you should guard your credibility, not call people liars, for example, who correctly point out that Kruschev was Ukrainian. If the case for Ukrainian nationalism is so strong, it shouldn't need so many lies. Transparent lies just make people think the worst.

Ukrainian 2016 election interference:

https://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/15/us/politics/what-is-the-black-ledger.html

August 2016, the ledger was provided to the New York Times by a Ukrainian politician who appears on White House logs meeting with the "whistleblower" in Joe Biden's offices there, prior to its appearance. The "ledger" was a forgery, nonetheless, it got Trump's campaign manager removed.

Some of you may remember that I have been flogging this link way before any intervention by Russia in Ukraine was even on the horizon. Since impeachment.

ANOTHER great article by Victor Davis Hanson....

"The Left has gone mad over Donald J. Trump—past, present, and future."

"Can House Speaker Kevin McCarthy (R-Calif.) ever be considered too inflammatory, given that his predecessor, former Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-Calif.) tore up the president’s State of the Union address on national television? "

As for that poor guy in Soladar, how could he really know that his supply lines had been cut off based on the fact that the fighting that doomed him did not involve him?

It's like during the French and Indian War, when the Indian allies of the French, in the interior, could not understand why the French surrendered when no battles had been fought there. Well, Quebec had fallen to the British, which meant that no more supplies would be forthcoming, and that the war was thus decided in England's favor in that remote location.

You have to follow events in Ukraine with a grain of salt, and stick with sources that bear out over the long run, and that report defeats and victories for both sides, as they occur, and always realize that your biases may blind you to the truth.

There is one photo that came out about ten days ago of Wagner (Russian) forces who had crossed an open field, and had been annihilated by Ukrainian artillery, pro-Russian sources at the time decried the poor tactics that led to that massacre, and moved on, pro-Ukrainian sources keep showing that same photo, repeatedly implying that it was fresh and reflected the current state of battle; even European politicians make reference to it as if it were more than a one-off, but the state of affairs on the battlefield; but now, that battle has been decided in Russia's favor. Smells like desperation.

Ukraine (By Ukraine, I mean Joe Biden and his son's clients) should have taken the deal that was on offer before the war started, it would still be whole, except it would have a semi-autonomous Russian speaking region or two, like Quebec in Canada, but they would still be paying taxes to Kiev, and scores of thousands of young lives would be whole right now, and Europe would be stable, and we would not be skating on the brink of WW3.

The trump criminal organization sends its money man to Rikers Island for 5-month sentence charged and convicted of h 15 felonies. The owner of the company claims ignorance of the facts. The perp will likely do 100 days with good time although the judge said he would have liked more especially after it was revealed the perp gave his wife $6000 so she would be eligible to fraudulently collect Social Security. The judge said that that really pissed him off. I don't believe they are through with the perp yet and will be back for more digging into the crime organization and search for RICO charges. More to be revealed, wonder if they 'll have the cameras on in his cell?
