There was a near-miss attempt by Democrats in Florida (2000), but they hadn't allowed for the near-total turnout of Cuban-Americans infuriated by the Gonzalez incident, and they just couldn't manufacture enough extra "votes" in the four counties where they controlled vote-counting.
At the sub-national level, it's much easier and much more common. It is obvious, too, that voter fraud in America has consistently favored one party, and one party only, at every level from dog-catcher to President.

When the Republicans get the majority in the House, they should investigate the FBI's efforts to cause Facebook, Twitter and other such businesses to suppress information that might embarrass the Democrat Party in Presidential elections.

They found ballots in an unsecure drawer and added them into the vote count. Not enough to give it to Gregoire. Recount again and find move ballots in another unsecure location. Miracle! Gregoire WINS!

The will definitely have a majority in the Senate, thanks to the unelectable candidates the Republicans have put forth. The House will be close, but I expect a close majority for Democrats there too.
Remember what Charles Schumer promised you after the 2020 elections: We're going to transform this country. They have already done a lot of the promised damage, but there is more to come.
