That's WHY, it is SO Important, that little girls (8years, etc) IMMEDIATELY start with the chemical castration ("puberty blockers") followed by Hormone Therapy.. That way, if(WHEN!) they try to change their little minds.. It'll be TOO LATE!! ha ha ha! HAHAHAHA!
The Freedom From Religion Foundation put up a billboard on Fish Hatchery which we saw while visiting last weekend. It's a long haired guy in a top hat with the caption, "I'm an atheist and I vote!" I'm not sure what audience they were looking to reach with the ad, but it's probably an audience that would vote along the same lines as Top Hat Guy. Preaching to the 'Keep Madison Weird' crowd, I reckon.
It wouldn't be much of a "secret service" if every time the congress gets a hiccup, they, the Secret Service gets to cough up their internal communications. Would it?
I'm not saying they don't have to turn anything over. I'm saying the Secret Service should change their name to the Snitching Service... or something.
The Sunbeam sunset at the pond this evening was awe inspiring. The lightening in the distance didn't get too close for comfort. Banging out two miles is almost easy now. We're up to 10-miles per week now. 18-days left before the Lake George 5K.
"The Freedom From Religion Foundation put up a billboard on Fish Hatchery which we saw while visiting last weekend. It's a long haired guy in a top hat with the caption, "I'm an atheist and I vote!""I vote. In Madison no less, and I'm sure I vote the opposite of Annie's brigade.
I was surprised to discover that the Freedom From Religion Foundation was a liberal organization since the separation of church and state could easily be a libertarian concept and I always thought that Ron and Nancy Reagan's atheist son Ron was libertarian.
Sadly,FFRF has wandered away from principal founder Anne Gaylor's basic concept: “To be free from religion is an advantage for individuals; it is a necessity for the government.” Now we find current writings from the organization that defends government crossing the line by altering the constitution while ignoring the rule of law.
Seven justices who voted for Roe v. Wade back in 1973 noted that the Constitution grants a right to privacy via the Due Process Clause of the 14th Amendment. Sadly, the authors of Roe v. Wade ignored the Establishment Clause and its protection of freedom of conscience — an unfortunate oversight. The only organized opposition to abortion rights is religious in nature.
But of course, there is no "right to privacy" hidden away in the Due Process Clause, and the Establishment Clause was never argued to contain a "freedom of conscience." Should this "freedom of conscience" exist, then it could be argued that killing the unborn is unconscionable and a direct violation of felony murder laws. From defending unwritten freedoms inside the constitution, FFRF then accuses all who oppose abortion to be religious nutcases in order to justify the unjustifiable.

EXACTLY the way it is SUPPOSED TO WORK!!! That's why the Supreme Court ruling is correct!! The people in each state should have a vote...it shouldn't be up to judges!! Thanks for seeing that the Supreme Court got it right Inga!!!
Good work explaining the basic idea to her, Wendybar. Inga will be like a different commenter from now on, having seen the light on federalism and Constitutional government.
Mouthwashes and the CCP virus affliction were discussed in one of these cafes the other day. Coincidentally, saw a link to this Penn State study of the subject.
This was done in 2020 on human coronaviruses, but not necessarily SARS-CoV-2 specifically. So there may be superior data available out there, but I just happened to see this one again.
Findings:
Common over-the-counter nasal rinses and mouthwashes/gargles were tested for their ability to inactivate high concentrations of HCoV using contact times of 30 s, 1 min, and 2 min. Reductions in titers were measured by using the tissue culture infectious dose 50 (TCID50) assay. A 1% baby shampoo nasal rinse solution inactivated HCoV greater than 99.9% with a 2-min contact time. Several over-the-counter mouthwash/gargle products including Listerine and Listerine-like products were highly effective at inactivating infectious virus with greater than 99.9% even with a 30-s contact time. In the current manuscript we have demonstrated that several commonly available healthcare products have significant virucidal properties with respect to HCoV.

It gave me a chuckle, but it's a strawman (straw woman, based on the character in the 'toon) argument. Teachers telling people about Jesus isn't rampant in our public schools. Political indoctrination is. Thanks for the laugh, anyhow.
I see the talking point has been mailed out. I've seen this multiple places this morning. Each, clueless about Roe removing power from the people.
Kansas proves all the parade of horribles, the left was screeching about, were just hyperbole, untethered from reality. After a couple of election cycles, my guess is most people will settle in somewhere around ignoring all logic, and determine killing a baby at 15 weeks is somehow different from killing a baby at 16 weeks.

You're right. I would have voted against a constitutional amendment to ban ALL abortions. Whatever GOP Conservative in Kansas got this on the ballot was an idiot.
Put a state referendum on for a ban after 14 or 15 weeks...I'd voter for that, and I'd imagine so would a lot of people who are reasonable and oppose infanticide.
MadTownGuy, is that Fitch Hatchery Road off of SR202? I drive by that nearly everyday to get to our new home site. I'll deter this morning to see it. Why would anyone place a sign like that on such a little-used road? They must get a big discount on lease costs.

Wow after watching Alex Jones in court today, I'm thinking Rudy (the former presidents' lawyer) and Sydney Powell (the Kraken lady) who have lost their ability through suspensions for false claims about 2020 election and possible disbarment for the Kraken to practice law in certain areas are brilliant compared to Jones. Where do these people come from? Jones has to admit that the shootings were real, and he has been lying all along and he may now face perjury and other charges as his incompetent law team sent the opposing lawyers all Jones texts by mistake proving he lied in his previous depositions. You couldn't make this up. Jones financial statements are also on the phone and the judge has to keep telling him to quit lying. Yikes talk about LAW-AND-ORDER TV. Jones has always been FAKE NEWS, but this is going to cost him bigly!

Letting the people of each state vote and create the laws surrounding abortion is the intended outcome from the high court.
