... on August 5th (#1), and, on August 19th, you saw that incredibly charming interview brilliantly transformed into music (#5), and, on August 22, you saw the lines of the "It's Corn" song ranked (#4). That's all you need to know to receive this set of further developments. Believe me, there are many, many more "It's Corn" videos on TikTok. What I've got here is optimized for your enjoyment of this spiraling trend:
1. The sidewalk chalk version.
2. Is it okay to do cornface?
3. Her friends aren't on TikTok and don't know the corn song.
4. The song becomes a TED talk.
5. The Conor Oberst impression.
6. The Gregorian chant version.
7. Social media manager explains the song to 70-year-old male heads of marketing at a finance company.
8. The teacher wants to use the song as an example of great opinion writing.
9. At some point, corn itself gets anxious.

Conor Oberst grew up two blocks away from my house. He lived one the same block as Creighton law professor Ron Volkmer. Conor went to my high school: Creighton Prep.
Corn is a grain of a size. Wheat corn, Salt corn, Pepper corn. Hot corn Cold corn bring along the demijon. Haul up and call me in the morning.
#2 for the win.
Although I read your blog nearly every day, I never follow your TikTok blogging (one Leon Russell clip excepted). TikTok IS corn, and I just don't care to waste my time for, charitably, fleeting amusement. Relatedly, Instagram has become loaded with so much sponsored crap. At the moment I'm bombarded with gymnastics routines and volleyball practices. Jeez, I'll have to drop IG soon. Maybe I'll have to leave my cabin in the woods and talk to real people again.
I check out your recommendations just to see if our algorithms cross. They do, but not frequently. People spend a lot of time creating concepts and productions for various reasons. I have learned a lot on many different subjects. Every video posted has given that person posting a sense of satisfaction and enjoyment. I appreciate that. Therefore I am generous with watching a good video to the end, liking an excellent video and leaving a brief positive comment when the piece is extraordinary. Oh, and keep my keyboard silent when I disagree.
I'll have the Gregorian corn chant.

I'm having corn tonight. Watching these videos while the corn boils. It's Corn! He's right!
Too much corn, but for some reason the teacher opinion writing appealed to me.
Corn juice.
"when I tried it with butter everything changed"
LOL - I didn't catch that before. brilliant.
I enjoyed all of them except for the one about how dumb and out of touch 70-year-olds are. I'm tired of jokes about how old people don't understand the may-mays. What memes you know depends on what area of the internet you hang out in. Also, there is life outside of the internet. (Or so I've been told.)
If it was based on real life, the old guy was probably wondering what corn had to do with a finance company and the social media person didn't care if it was relevant, just that it was viral. Tunnel vision is how you end up with a post like the Atlantic Sports Bar and Restaurant made.
Thank you for keeping me up to date on one very small corner of current trends.
I love corn. Plain. No butter, no salt.
I expect there's a version of this phenom thriving on the internet called, "It's Porn."
Best ever! I reposted all 9 to FB with my own comments.
Thanks, Ann!
Great selection. Hate to judge but, in order, 2,5,6,8.
I've heard the name Conor Oberst, now do I have to look him up? What if I don't and just give this guy's impression a passing grade? Hmmm-m...
Best for me was Cornface. It's got the juice.
Here we go. Everyone jumping on the bandwagon to get their 15 minutes. And what does the kid get from it? Nothing I suspect, except being known as the corn kid.
I guess he is cashing in on his fame making videos for people but seeing folks all over run amok like this still annoys me.
How fun for that little boy and his grandmother. They need to be snapped up for a political campaign while he's still gap toothed and the meme is fresh. Maybe there should be a mash up of him saying "it's corn" and some of Joe's rambling story about his dad working at the car dealership.

Corn song is okay but I prefer the original. What a joyous boy!
These people are trying awfully hard to make something out of something that isn’t anything. Which is why my favorite is the TED Talk. TED Talks are intellectual junk food.
