Female privilege resisted.

Presidential daughter and daytime TV personality Jenna Bush Hager must have thought she was performing her role as a playful, delightful female as she invaded the personal space of the male TV personality Justin Sylvester during a cooking segment of the "Today" show:

I had never heard of Justin Sylvester, so everything written above this sentence is my reaction to that video, which I'd watched with the sound off. My question was: Is he married? I wondered if he was the sort of man who thinks about his wife and how she would feel if she saw another woman breasting into him and squirming.

But, researching, I quickly encounter Sylvester's own reaction to the reaction to that video and, while I don't know if he's bullshitting to preserve his access to women's daytime TV, I can see that protecting this imagined wife is not what was going on:

Sylvester claims it was all comic shtik, and it was about his wanting sole access to the other person in the scene, the nice-looking male chef who was doing the cooking demonstration.

And the answer to my question Is he married? is: Not to a woman.

Jenna Bush is on TV? Who knew?

I guess NBC hands out gigs to daughters of former Presidents kinda freely.

Jenna Bush can breast me any time.

Her gaydar is not working.

Breast nestling is the traditional way to indicate interest.

He learned it from Nancy Pelosi.

Yeah. I only looked at the photos, and my immediate reaction was "That dude's gay."

Ann’s gaydar isn’t working either

I immediately thought both of the guys were gay. I can only imagine what was going on in Jenna's mind--maybe she didn't know or maybe she thought the vibe would be a, "we're all hip and handsy and breasty".

I had my eye on her, and my mind was on the role reversal of sexual harassment.

Jenna Bush is a heifer -- she looks like a fat version of her father in drag. As first daughters go, Ivanka makes a lot more sense as a television host.

Jenna may have been a little tipsy.

I guess they kept Kathie Lee and Hoda's wine sessions in the show.

was her dad one of the scumbags that worked with that Fuckdick Cheney?

"Worked for" may describe the relationship better.

They have been friends for years. No one wants to say that. It’s easier to bash a Bush!

Transgender confusion in a liberal climate. Something similar happened when a transgender/homosexual male serial rapist made the news and was shortly suppressed in order to sustain the handmade tale of social progress. Not unlike the special and peculiar interests of diversity (i.e. color judgment, class-based bigotry), inequity, and exclusion (DIE) catered by the Progressive Cult under the Pro-Choice ethical religion.

Looked exactly like Nancy Pelosi pushing Congresswoman Mayra Flores little daughter out of the picture so Nasty Nancy could look like she was happy about the first Mexican born congresswoman.

When you are famous they let you do it.

The winner is whoever gets to HR to complain first. In the photo, the male is plainly fondling Bush's midriff and committing and unmistakable sexual assault. Jenna is the victim here!

remembered this?

If Seinfeld is gay that is the deepest closet ever concealed by mankind, since Rock Hudson.

Who knows what was going thru their minds. The field of "personal space" is riddled with land mines.

Jena was probably thinking 'If I'm not demonstrably affectionate to the black guest and there's somebody out there with a YouTube account tracking my every move, how do I defend against my apparent racism? Be proactive. Oops.

Maybe Jenna could try some dark makeup next time 😯

It's the Hitler taint that George W. Bush is never going to rid himself of no matter how much progressive cock he sucks until he dies. If this had been any other female outside of a Trump daughter, he wouldn't have pushed her away.

I hope Ms. Bush-Hager now understands where she stands with these people she is attempting to get cozy with. She will never be one of them, and they will always hold it against her who her father is. Same goes for Liz Cheney- when the Democrats are done with her, she and her father will to tossed away like a semen soaked paper towel once again.

A shit-ton of ads showing in that first non-TikTok clip.

Yes, Jenna was afraid of being afraid of touching the Black man. She didn't realize that Justin was Orthodox Gay and kept strictly kosher. "Gaydar" doesn't work very well with the younger, more assimilated homosexuals.

I hope we aren't one of those countries where politicians' kids automatically get television shows. I think that's how Canada got saddled with Justin Trudeau.

P.S. That super-hot woman wasn't really a lesbian. Get used to it.

I'm not sure I buy the explanation given by the male host. Just looking at the pushback with arm it would make sense, but if you look at the video he seems slightly jolted and grimaces when she puts her hand on his right shoulder. Though I think his explanation is tactful and political. It just may not be be the entire reason for the brushback.

Women note:

Gay dudes need their space.

Why would leftwing NBC give BushHitlers daughter a TV spot?

Funny, no? The Bush family sure has gotten a lot MSM Media love the last 10 years. Its like they were really liberal underneath all the "Campaign Rhetoric".

Look for Big Dick Cheney's daughter to get a slot at MSNBC or even the View (ABC).

Sexual Harrassment is unwanted Touching or violation of personal space. Good looking women more or less have a free pass on that. But I"m joking. Any stranger or aquietance getting TOO close in a public situation is ususally annoying even if its a good looking woman.

Most straight men will let it slide. Gay men, may push them away. Or hire Ann Althouse to sue.

rcocean said...

The superhot lesbian is a male fantasy. Most of them look like Rosie or Rachel madcow. Or they're batshit crazy like ....fill in blank. I'm surprised Liz Cheney isn't a Lesbo. She has man-face (stephen colbert with long hair) and that tough-guy attitude.

She was invading his personal space. And, that was uninvited touching. Bush thought she was being cute and that, of course, any guy would be thrilled to have her rub her body up against his. She miscalculated as to how well that would be received.

ha ha

yeah she was, I was there for the conversation.

(deleted my original post as it was a little off-topic)

(I had a whole thing about gay men and straight women but I was a little out of my depth on that one, so that one's gone too)

A little off-topic again...

I deleted two posts on this thread, one before I published it, and one after I published it.

To me it's no big deal.

But people on the internet are like, "You shadow-edited your story! You're a horrible journalist!" (They say this to official journalists from the NYT or the WaPo or Fox News or whoever, but it's the same principle).

And I'm like, "I do that shit all the time. It's the internet! You want it notarized or what?"

I always feel sympathy for people who take down twitter posts when they regret what they said. That's the whole point of free speech! People say shit right back to you! You ought to cheer when bad posts are removed by the authors. That's like a win for humanity. You literally got the author to realize they made a mistake. Give yourself two points and move on.

I always thought the brunette was cuter.

Yah, that was painful, but then watching Bushes trying not to be awkward was often painful.

I dunno. That seemed pretty rude on his part, on live tv. Why didn’t he just move to the other side of the chef? He could talk to her after the fact, when not live, to let her know she invaded his space and plz don’t do that again. Being gay and flirty isn’t an excuse for being rude.

Saint Croix said...

I had my eye on her, and my mind was on the role reversal of sexual harassment.

ha ha ha

I just got a little deja vu...

Let's take a closer look at those breasts.

It's not sex harassment when women press their breasts into your arm. I acquit them all!

Saint Croix said...

Now I'm thinking about women who have used their bodies to flirt with me. The vast majority of women are subtle. They use their eyes. They use their fingers. Touch your arm. Touch your chest.

When I was in eighth grade and I had this reading assignment, this girl (who was no stranger to me, she knew I liked her), touched me while I was reading an assignment out loud in class. I can't remember if she was touching my neck or my hair. I had a little trouble reading the assignment and the teacher (woman) got so mad at her.

She did it out in the open, completely confident. Everybody was looking at her and me.

I remember also at a party she got pushed into a swimming pool. And she said, "My dress is see-through!" Yelled it really. As she's pulling her wet dress away from her breasts. Very much the center of attention. Man, I liked her. Anyway, girls in the South know how to flirt.

Breasts in the arm, that's a little obvious. I've had two attractive women do that to me. Both times I was a little disappointed by the technique. ("That's your move?" I would say to myself). I don't know. If there's chemistry, you don't need to be obvious. And if there's no chemistry, it's kind of an empty thing. It's just breasts in the arm. If that makes sense.

I have noticed in my life there is a strong correlation between huge orgasms and passion. And for passion you need emotion. Breasts in the arm aren't enough, I guess is what I'm saying. Empty fucks are kind of a nothing-burger, while passionate sex is the best thing in this world.
