This is the day where we celebrate the Greatest Country in the world in all of history.

The United States has led an economic revolution that has raised billions out of poverty.

The United States has made the Citizen greater than the rulers.

The United States led the world in ending slavery.

The United States is the least racist country in the world and is the destination that everyone who wants freedom wants to get to.

This country has the most generous, kindest people in the world living in it.

And soon we are going to rid ourselves of the current illegitimate regime that makes us look bad.

Having grown up in the Chicago area, I’m very sad about today’s events in Highland Park. However, I’m furious about the shameless posturing by Governor Pritzker, Senator Duckworth and others.

How many were killed a few miles down the road in Chicago this holiday weekend? Why weren’t they grandstanding in front of the cameras there?

Mitt Romeny says: Too many Americans are blithely dismissing threats that could prove cataclysmic.

I think he might be on to something! America is in Danger of having someone like Mitt Romeny having a say about what happens here; And yet, Many Americans just dismiss this. They should realize, that the threat isn't just real.. It's ALREADY HERE!!

We celebrate this day as our founders signed the Declaration of Independence. Those who do not like this country are welcome to go elsewhere. We won't miss them.

Mugshots of the Highland Park shooting have turned up, and he is very much the concave-chested geeky looking creep we have come to expect.

He purportedly has an "Awake" tat, which tells us he's ""woke" and probably hates America and anyone celebrating its independence.

So it's gonna be interesting to see how the Gun Grabbers try to turn the blame back on white suburban people----while ignoring the daily gun violence in other parts of Chicago.

Over nine dead and 50 injured just this weekend so far IN ADDITION to the sniper shootings.

I can hear Joy Reid already, telling us those parade goers and marchers "had it coming."

Can't you?

Participated again this year in the Lost Lake (Vilas County) 4th of July boat parade. The gulf between the patriotic, flag waving residents of Lost Lake and their liberal "betters" is vast, and I fear unresolvable.

Doubt and Certainty, Tony Rothman and George Sudarshan, Perseus Books (1998)

What we can and cannot know from science:

"Approximations of the First Kind correspond to modeling the phenomenon. With the oscillator we at least know what equation to write down, even if the friction term must be fudged. In more complicated situations, such as the weather, so many variables are involved … that one has little idea of what the correct equations are. One can of course write down some equations, but whether they have anything to do with the real weather rapidly becomes debatable."

Yet so many people who couldn't differentiate y = x have been convinced by others who couldn't differentiate y = x that we have models which provide us with certainty about the climate.

Happy Independence Day!!

Fireworks over the lake in about an hour - almost time to shake up some patriotic cocktails and weigh anchor….

On this 4th of July we learn conclusively Mitt Romney loves and adores Joe Biden and is deeply respectful of Joe Biden's decency and honor.

Which also means Romney agrees that in 2012 he, Romney, did indeed intend to put black people "back in chains".

Bobby "Awake the Rapper" Crimo was a Trump supporter who spent much time online at extremist right-wing sites - apparently for a long time. So the question is whether or not his exchanges with other Trumpist nutcases will allow law enforcement to call this a hate crime.

Yep, he was a rapper called "Awake". He has the number "47" tattooed on his forehead which likely refers to a Russian AK-47. So it will not be surprising if the rifle he abandoned turns out to be a Kalashnikov.

A disturbing and voluminous social media trail emerged for the shooter that shows weaponry and an obsession with mass shootings; in 2019, he shared a random video of President Donald Trump’s motorcade. Crimo, whose music was recorded under the name “Awake the Rapper,” was also photographed at a Trump rally. Another picture showed him with a Trump flag around his shoulders. That came from a Twitter page he used called @awake.rip.

One of his music videos, for the song “Toy Soldier,” features a crude, stick-figure-like animation of a man firing a long gun at people and later lying face-down in a pool of blood after apparently being shot by police. The accompanying lyric is: “I just want to scream/Fuck this world/Livin’ the dream.”

So I'm watching the movie Lincoln, with Democrat after Democrat after Democrat after Democrat in the House voting "NO" on the 13th Amendment to abolish slavery.

Now 157 years later, the Democrats again cover themselves in utter shame.

SAY WHAT?

Following the mass shooting at a July 4 parade in Highland Park, Illinois, a Trump-backed gubernatorial candidate bluntly urged the community to “move on.” Standing next to supporters at a different parade, after taking a moment in prayer, state Sen. Darren Bailey, said: “Let’s move on and celebrate the independence of this nation.” He added, “We have got to get corruption and evil out of our government.”

The Declaration of Independence was not signed on July 4th as most historians believe (it was dated July 4th) it was signed on August 2nd by majority of signers. NY delegates didn't even receive authorization to sign until July 9th. 56 delegates eventually signed the parchment. It was adopted and finalized on July 4th.People and history settle in and make up their own dates like Christmas on December 25th and Easter the 1st Sunday after full moon following the equinox blended with pagan beliefs (Eostre pre-Christian goddess) When you hear something over without researching you just go along with the flow, it's human nature. Remember if you say it enough over and over people will eventually believe it. Where have we heard that? America, (the country I served 64-72) love it or help to make it better.

From Powerline...

Calvin Coolidge:

"If all men are created equal, that is final. If they are endowed with inalienable rights, that is final. If governments derive their just powers from the consent of the governed, that is final. No advance, no progress can be made beyond these propositions. If anyone wishes to deny their truth or their soundness, the only direction in which he can proceed historically is not forward, but backward toward the time when there was no equality, no rights of the individual, no rule of the people. Those who wish to proceed in that direction can not lay claim to progress. They are reactionary. Their ideas are not more modern, but more ancient, than those of the Revolutionary fathers."

The Chicago perp describes himself as "Awake".

So---in addition to being a concaved-chested anorectic excuse for a male, he's "woke, and he decided to kill people celebrating a 4th of July parade.

Let's see the MSM try to sugar-coat that. Let's see them ignore the weekend carnage in other parts of Chicago.

But they will. Expect Joy Reid to tell us the parade marchers and audience "deserved it".

This is itself a pagan belief.

The date of Easter is determined by the date of Passover, which is determined by when the Bible says it should be celebrated, with reference to the moon.

The date of Christmas has nothing to do with Saturnalia. December 25 was determined because it is nine months after March 25, which was believed to be the date of Jesus' conception at the Annunciation, which, in addition to tradition, is believed to be the date of Jesus' crucifixion and death, under an ancient belief that a holy person's life and death coincided. Of course, the day of the Crucifixion is itself pegged to Passover.
