So I read a thread today that condemned Sweden for never locking down and putting their old people at risk from the dreaded covid. And furthermore accused the Swedes of refusing life saving treatments like oxygen to the elderly and instead gave them morphine, hastening their deaths. And this thread was from an enlightened European. One who has apparently never heard of the Liverpool pathway where I’ll patients are condemned to death by a committee of doctors. Or sometimes just one. Where the Netherlands, an appropriate name for this, offer the elderly an option of pain free suicide, and sometimes don’t make it an option. Where virtually all elderly avoid a hospital visit because being admitted is a death sentence if actuary tables say treatment money would (probably) be wasted on you.
And a little history to boot. All the Scandinavian countries have a long tradition of offing the elderly when they become a burden. And deformed and crippled newborns before they become a burden. Kind of engraved into their national soul with a veneer of Christianity covering it up. They also have a long history of freemen making their own decisions. If you weren’t allowed to appear before the local ruler or the king armed, you weren’t a freeman, you were a vassal or slave.
So who’s going to hold the Swedish government accountable for allowing the population to live as freemen? The people? Not a chance. Other enlightened Europeans? How? Not a chance. Actually, if you believe in freedom and equality and natural rights (unlike a current Supreme Court nominee who believes in none of those) then there’s nothing to be accountable for. No one stopped a single Swede from masking. No one forced a single Swede to go out in public and socialize. Anyone who wished to succumb to the panic porn could. And the rest were left free to balance their own risks.
Runway labelled 31 at the left (was labelled 30 when I was a kid) is where I first soloed at age 16, after 8 hours of instruction. Too young to drive in NJ but old enough to fly. Piper Super Cub (PA-18). I used only the part of the runway to the left of the intersection, the instructor standing at the intersection. He signalled me back for another flight after the first.
Tradition was people who soloed got their collars cut off and posted on the office wall with name and date, but apparently not for minors.

The commies are terrified that the workers of the world will unite. Just look at how they reacted to the Canadian Truckers. This is why Donald Trump scares the bejesus out of them, workers are to be exploited by the owning class Democrats and their concerns are to be rigorously ignored. How the Democrats were bought off and turned into the party of the owning class and the war mongers would be quite a story if it were not so simple, huge bags of cash for the leaders, and denial and ego massaging propaganda for the rank and file.
My experience with my first solo flight was the instructor standing beside the runway midway down. Instructions were three touch-and-goes. After each one, if he waved his arms wildly you were to stop, indicating failure. Or he pointed his arm down the runway to go again. Cessna 150.
The tradition in that area was the back of your shirt was cut off and hung with your name and date of your first solo. Great confidence builder.
Marlon Brando would have been 98 today. He was born in Omaha. In his honor, watched The Godfather at The Dundee Theater. Forced to wear a mask from the ticket counter to my seat. A guy feel asleep after two hours and started snoring. I guess he’d seen it before.
Hard to believe Coppola was 29 when he wrote the screenplay and directed the movie.
While we're on the subject of the fog of war making it difficult to separate fact from fiction, here's another question - What happened to the 40-mile-long convoy we used to see pictures of? The Pentagon has said that it "disappeared" without achieving its objectives. I mean 40 miles of trucks, supplies, tanks and soldiers - gone? Aliens?
'...Russian orders for disposing of bodies in mass graves have surfaced on social media. Sergej Sumlenny, a Berlin-based Russian journalist who worked in Ukraine, posted a government decree on “maintaining mass graves amid wartime” that took effect on February 1. It included diagrams showing how corpses should be covered with chemicals and the site levelled by a tractor pulling a heavy roller.
“It looks like Russia planned a fast victory over Ukrainian army, full occupation of Ukraine and a genocide, including mass executions of Ukrainian civil society leaders, politicians, cultural leaders, clerics, etc,” Sumlenny tweeted. “The scale of planned genocide was unseen since WWII.”'

It seems that he also has a plaque on the "Dock of the Bay" in Sausalito.
OK! Michael K and Browndog are happy that Hungary's dictator (masquerading as Prime Minister), Viktor Orbán - an ally of Pootie-Poot Putin, has rigged the Hungarian elections in order to "win" for the fifth time.
I don't think that is what being on the "right-side of the fence" is all about.

Marlon Brando's life was spoken in his famous slur during the film "On the Waterfront": "I coulda had class. I coulda been a contender. I coulda been somebody."
Brando biographer Peter Manso said: "Before Brando, actors were told to enunciate. The older actors who still used the traditional style of acting termed Brando's acting as a part of the 'Mumbling School of Acting.'"

MSNBC's Morning Slobberfest all but claimed a Ukraine/Zelensky victory this AM. As the shells keep raining down on the populace, I would suggest this is a bit premature. Where is the US/UN leading the peace talks? Not a chance when there's money to be made supplying armaments.

Orban literally just won a resounding victory in a democratic fashion.
And the count was completed without any late night interruptions, sudden inrush of absentee ballots, or voting machines connected to the internet, or unregistered voters and voters without ID casting votes.

Orban has won a huge victory in his parliamentary elections. He had all the world's leftists and deep state operatives against him.
Good news:BREAKING: Victor Orban just won a super majority in Hungary to remain Prime Minister.

So she likes to do it with CARS?

Eyes in the sky search for mass graves in Ukraine

Well, Putin is a supporter. So there's that.
Mutaman: "I thought this said "Trump endorses Putin"'
That was a given based on your BlueAnon-NPC history.
Here's an interesting tidbit for the hopelessly stupid Russia Russia Russia crowd (we are looking at you Mutaman):
The US has increased its purchases of Russian oil by 43% over the past week, to 100,000 barrels per day.
Looks like Putin and his pals got quite a return on buying the entire Biden clan.
Not as much as the ChiComs of course, but still quite competitive.
