i made it to the end; and it was nice to see that SCIENCE says that the 1980's Big Hair wasn't just The Best.... It Was THE MOST BESTEST hair of EVER! i'd worried that i was provincial and just liked it 'cause it reminded me of being 20... So, it was great to look through 500 years of hair styles (some of which were Very nice) and be able to see that '80's hair Rocks!
I love Morgan Donner. She's adorable, her videos are always so well put together, and she has some serious talent with research, design, and sewing garments, especially historical garments. It's fun to watch someone with legitimate ability work, no matter what their craft.
40 odd minutes on hair? Ain't no-one got time for that!
Sewriously, though, I've made a couple of 5 minute documentary-style movies and the amount of footage and editing required is ... A Lot! It requires a certain commitment, considering the dross on youtube, that most people do not have.
Well that was fun! Laughed out loud at the 80’s bangs that stood straight up like a deers tail - only in the front. My daughters wore their hair like that and we always laugh at their old photos

How long did it take her to research and film this?
"How long did it take her to research and film this?"
And she makes it look as though it's all happening in real time.
I lost track of the number of times during the video that I thought "Oh no! Don't cut that beautiful hair!" I was very sad at the end.
What a great video! Brings those stuffy old portraits to life. Those were all real people with real hair.
I love Morgan Donner. Her videos are very well done and some of her sewing projects are incredible.
Trying this again...

Very interesting, and I applaud her dedication.

I can’t believe she cuts her hair!
Forty-five minutes of talking video about hair?!
That final hair cut requires a lot more make up to look good, though.
I'd be happy to have 1/4 of the amount of hair she has (sigh). Very entertaining.

Cetagandan Haut Ladies will be aghast at cutting that long hair which is symbol of their status
She should do this to Joe Rogan. With wigs. He seems a sport. Interesting. I hope she has more.
