Clyde said...: Just saw an article about a winner being declared by 5 votes in a Democrat primary in Alcee Hastings' old district in Florida. The winner, Sheila Cherfilus-McCormick, wrote on Twitter:

"I am proud to be recognized tonight finally as the Democratic nominee for Florida's 20th Congressional District following Alcee Hastings' legacy of fighting for the rights and welfare of the common person. This an enormous honor to carry."

The article later adds, "Cherfilus-McCormick previously and unsuccessfully challenged Hastings, but she self-funded her campaign this year, pouring nearly $4 million of her own money into the effort."

Followed the novel really closely, and so it's paced like a novel, instead of a shoot 'em up per minute space opera. Lot's of little digs at Star Wars, if you ask me. "Follow the flow, Paul." tim in vermont said...: I hope that all of the Vermonters here are going to work like hell for who ever runs against whoever the Democrats put up for the now open Senate seat now that Leahy is retiring. If they are going to mail ballots to everybody who might conceivably be a voter again this time, the only way to win an election like that is door to door. Like, EVERY parkway, i've EVER been on... It had signs saying: No Commercial Vehicles

This means, that ALL parkways are RACIST; right? I mean; if black folk can't ride in buses on the parkway... IT'S RACIST!!! right?

What Difference does it make how tall the bridges are; when there is a sign saying
NO COMMERCIAL VEHICLES
