I guess it is easier for Bowser to waste time and money on this BLM vandalism project then it is for her to actually try and solve some of the city's problems. She probably thinks she is doing some thing productive when in fact this project is nothing but a boondoggle. Shouldn't the road crews be out fixing pot hole instead of wasting time on this? Bowser has to understand that not everyone in DC is black and not everyone DC in supports the BLM Marxists. Hopefully some future mayor will rip the whole thing out.

Mayor Bowser has just done exactly that by putting up a plaza to recognize an organization that thinks Cuba under Castro was a great thing for all.

I'll know people are taking Black lives seriously when Black people quit voting in Democrats who tell them the 'others' are going to enslave them. Rather than make tough decisions and address complex issues, they overemphasize trivial issues in order to make simplistic solutions seem important, obsess over the "process", engage in stupid petty power struggles, and make useless symbolic gestures. "I have no objection when people put up a BLM sign to affirm the dignity of black people, especially in a culture that has demeaned them. I see the slogan as similar to the “I Am a Man” signs black men carried in 1960s demonstrations, documented in the photos of Ernest Withers. I do have a problem when allegiance to the BLM movement is mandatory, and failure to do so is racist.
"If I lived in DC, I wouldn’t oppose a permanent BLM plaza, what with all the other monuments already in the city. It must be an important symbol to a lot of residents there. I’m guessing they’d also want less crime and better sidewalks."
