Cat now has a new trick - crawling under the covers and going to sleep. It is dark, warm, and cozy. He’s hard to see under there. Luckily, I am trained not to lay on the comforter (to keep from crushing the fill). So, I averted tragedy just now. Almost just went through another of his 9 lives. Partner did save him Friday, giving him the feline version of the Heimlich maneuver. He definitely ate something that he shouldn’t have. Possibly one of those paper covered wires that cables come in. He loves to stalk and attack them.

Bummer. Crack’s last comment pushed me over the fold onto a new page. Was so hoping to call it.

We just got our $300.00 monthly Xfinity bill. I watch nerd shows on cable, and have started using some of the apps on it, and use this computer, and my wife has several devices, but we're going to have to cut something.

We pay for stuff we never watch--sports, primetime series, game shows, and all their myriad combinations and iterations.

I've got a pile of gift DVDs that I've never watched too

Better than being left behind on the old page.

My mother controls the internet, satellite tv billing.

I have gently encouraged her to drop everything except for the high speed internet connection- she already has Netflix, Hulu, and Amazon Prime along with Acorn and Britbox which, collectively, already contain every show she watches. I don't watch anything any longer that isn't streamable and thus bingeable. Worse, she even complains about the size of the bill! I just don't understand the mentality of paying for things you don't use and then complain about the cost anyway.

The wife could walk through walls in 1995, but didn't leave until 2005?

Still hurting fifteen years later.

That some strong love.

I imagine that, what marriage's were supposed to be built on, and everything.

Suspect she sometimes regretted her choices, upon reflection, when it was too late.

I don't - NewAgers have mucho support for their views - she blew marriage off without a thought, and with her girlfriend's encouragement, while I have to wrestle with my wife being sexually abused, losing my marriage identity, and nobody caring as I watch the rest of the world getting infected with what she's got.

The Vice President sleeping with Montel Williams may not mean much to you geniuses but, to me, it's a sure sign we've got a full-blown kook, a crook, and corrupt cop, in the White House - and nobody cares.

They didn't care when Oprah campaigned for Obama - after Dr. Oz was a quack, Dr. Phil was a quack, Deepak Chopra is a quack, James Arthur Ray killed three people, etc. - they just let it slide.

It's astonishing how clueless the Republicans are when faced with such obviously venal opponents - they do NOTHING.

Oh - but chase the niggers for woke - and scream they're not racists. Incredible.

IANAR(epublican! what did you think?) but really Crack, mooning over lost love is, well, unmanly.

Narr
I say that from a place of concern.

@Yancey: your mom and my MIL would get along famously. I would add that MIL refuses the single remote solution as she prefers her multiple remotes and accompanying laminated cheat sheets. Fortunately her daughter, mrs. stevew does not take after her in this way.

@Farmer: thank you for that, made me smile.

Little things, like (deep breath) wrestling with my wife being sexually abused, the fact there's a quack doctor still freely sexually abusing his position (I've been contacted by the families of his other patients since then) the fact they're in the same cult as Bill and Hillary Clinton (Bill raped four women) and THAT cult leader works with the guy who got all rape-y while working as the "spiritual advisor" for Whole Foods, losing my career and being called crazy when what I went through is now a national crisis as you're all trapped in conspiracy theories, quackery, anti-vaccine nonsense, etc., and so forth, my wife and these fools have unleashed on all you just as she said they would - that kind of little stuff - it just slides right over you guys without a thought, just so (in your wisdom) you can try to repeatedly emasculate a man, instead - don't they?

Wealth determines outcome [in American justice] not culpability, because - ever since slavery - y'all have been determined to be NUMBER ONE in "punching down".

I missed that. somehow. I retract the tone of my last post - and the accusation you're trying to emasculate me. Thank you, but I'm not mooning over lost love. I do think my marriage ended, in part, because family law in this country is a joke. But it's the same joke I see everywhere - which my wife hipped me to - it's all homeopathy.

Everywhere - in government, the law, celebrity world, online - issues of substance [real medicine that works] are treated as equal with nonsense [homeopathic preparations AKA water] and no one's aware of not but those doing it - and a few skeptics, like me, of course.

There are journalists here (one from the NYT, though he's a partisan who blames Trump, of course) and in the UK who know it's happening (see Hillary on the cover?) and have written books about it, and lots of articles, but y'all don't take them seriously, either.

Your collective overwhelming narcissism - that says Andrew Breitbart is wrong and culture actually is downstream of politics, so you discuss that endlessly instead - is allowing them the freedom to destroy everything. With Oprah leading the way.

Thanks, Crack, and if I said something unfair I apologize. I said before that I think you have suffered in real ways, and are feeling real pain.

But I'm still not clear what the action plan is.

I vote against Progs, NewAgers, etc
