How naive is Ross Douthat.

In an ordinary, sane world, yeah. In a world where the Democrats have no standards to live up to, because the press approves every radical thing that they do, this worldview does not apply.

Instead he'll come out with a radical platform and the press will ask what his favorite dessert is.

So Biden lost more counties than most candidates for president.

No person has ever won with this low of a percentage of counties.

It is not even close.

The "opportunity" this person is talking about is due to a statistical impossibility.

I agree with Ross Douthat.

But I disagree with the Texas AG and Ted Cruz about the lawsuit filed directly with SCOTUS. First of all there is the issue of standing with regard to specific, so-called "battleground" states. There are a whole lot of states not being considered who wanted Biden for president - and Texas only has Republican Texas voters who supposedly didn't cheat but all 155 million voters need to be given priority.

Previously, SCOTUS had refused to take up appeals to cancel Pennsylvania's counting of absentee ballots received after election day - but had the high court ruled in Trump's favor, the ballot count rejection would not have changed the election results in the Keystone State.

The Supremes also moved a Pennsylvania suit filed by Rep. Mike Kelly to 9 AM this morning from 12/10/20 with the intent of refusing to hear that case and today is safe harbor day for changing certified results.

I think that there will be a war within the Biden Administration between the "moderates" and the "further" Left that will be a mirror image of the Trump/Never Trumper Republicans during the Trump admin, except it'll be much nastier, and involve Antifa rioters as foot soldiers.

The Far left thinks its mobilization efforts contributed to the Biden "victory", and they want their programs enacted. The Biden/Obama/Clinton factions want nothing to do with such extreme programs. They want to restore an Obama-ite status quo ante, where the Swamp works its Will on the taxpayers, to the Swamp's benefit. That's not what the far Left wants.

Remember, the Antifa violence occurred almost completely in "progressive" cities. Antifa & the Far Left knows that the moderates are much easier targets than the Right. I expect widespread urban rioting, like with Portland & Seattle, 18 months to 2 years into a Biden administration.

Additionally, ballots were re-run through the Dominion tabulator machine after a 262-262 tie on a vote for a ballot initiative that would allow a marijuana establishment to be located within the Village of Central Lake. While ballots were being inserted into the machine, 3 of them were destroyed and were not placed through the tabulator. At the conclusion of the recount by the tabulating machine and with three fewer votes, the result was 262-261, and the initiative passed. Of course, this result could only be possible after 3 of the ballots were destroyed.

Do I need to point out the problem here?

It would seem you have to pretend the narrow victory is real even to pontificate on the HHS pick. "Narrow victory" is the premise of the post.

A landslide is a 10% or greater win in the popular vote and 400 or more Electoral votes.

1932, 1964, 1972, and 1984 were landslides.

Biden won 51% of the popular vote and 306 Electoral votes.

The Dems won 51% of the House seats. Trump won the vote in 10 House Districts in which the Dem House member was re-elected. Biden won 3 House districts in which the GOP House member was re-elected, 3 more in which the Dem incumbent lost, and one in which the GOP candidate won an open House seat.

33 Senate seats (21 GOP held and 12 Dem) up for election.

So far, the GOP has won 17 of the seats it held, won 1 Dem held seat, and lost 2 GOP held seats with the 2 Georgia Senate seats still up for grabs.

My letter to the Seattle Times. It's unlikely they'll publish it since it destroys the narrative of a clean election.

The Democrats stole the presidential election in the swing states. We know this because they hid their steal by throwing Republican observers out of the polling places and counting centers. They kept the observers far away from the election workers and papered over the observing windows so the observers could not detect any election cheating. They told all observers that the counting was done for the night at 10:30 then kept on working after everyone had left. And amazingly enough, during this time when they weren’t counting, Joe Biden got 100,000s of votes at multiple counting centers. That’s a neat trick, Santa must of come early for Joe. Everything else is just the details of the steal. The election workers cheated and need to face significant prison time.

Look, we all know that Biden was never the brightest bulb in the chandelier, and he's lost major wattage in recent years. But as long as he's sentient, he (or the people around him who depend on him for their power and perks) will want to preserve him in his office. (Sure Kamala will have different objectives, but she has no power base of her own, and as long as Joe's sentient she will need to play the good soldier.) Joe knows that a 1st term president usually loses seats in the next Congressional election; in 2022, there's a big risk that the House will go Republican. So what does he do? He can follow the Obama Model, and use the majority he's got (particularly if that includes the Senate) to pass a big liberal agenda in two years. But then he might face a hostile Congress for the second half of his term. Or he could try a more moderate approach in the first two years: Return to the Paris Accords, stop putting immigrant children in "cages", roll back the "Trump tax cuts for the rich". But also downplay the "defund the police" stuff, de-emphasize the most extreme PC, identity politics stuff. Certainly don't push eliminating the Electoral College, admitting Puerto Rico as a State, maybe DC. Be a leftish liberal but not too much, and hope to get by to the second half of his term with a Congress he can live with. If I were advising him, that's what I'd recommend.

If I'm right, we should all move to Georgia and register to vote. If you think voting doesn't matter anymore, grow up.

At that point the election is invalid.

Unless you want us to start breaking election law too.

If you do not adhere to the rules of the process there is no process.

Humans are reactive. We have endured four years of a MSM machine whose perpetually screaming propaganda fills every room to bursting.

How do I know this? Because I retired in July and traded cable TV for antenna television and Amazon Prime. When not constantly being bombarded by the MSM's shit, one seldom really thinks about Trump or politics.

What Douthat leaves out are the executive orders Biden's team will get him to sign. A lot will change, though it will appear not to.

So you agree there was not massive voter fraud in Arizona and Nevada?
Trump lost those states, correct?

I have not put enough effort into looking into those State for me to say "clearly these were stolen". But no, I've seen nothing to indicate that they were honest elections there.

Sadness, in some places yes they were forcibly removed.

And that's game over. Which is why I list MI, PA, and GA. In all three of those States we know that Democrat elections officials kept Trump campaign poll watchers from being able to watch.

And that makes those results inherently fraudulent.

It's programmed in JavaScript?

We're making progress. At least one usual suspect agrees there was vote fraud in four of the six states. In the other two as well as in the first four there are citizens willing to put their freedom as well as their safety on the line to attest to vote fraud.
