The Chicken, a local popular restaurant, is closing. Covid ended them. They did everything right: masks, distancing, limited seating, take-out.

Wheezys, the other local popular restaurant, is thriving. Their bar is open, distancing and masks are ignored, and the parking lot is packed.

Pa Governor Tom Wolf (D-Führer), with help of Health Sec'y DR Rachel(née Richard) Levine has issued an executive order banning the sale of alcohol from 5PM Wednesday evening through 8AM Thanksgiving morning.

Why? "The biggest day for drinking is the Wednesday before Thanksgiving," Gov. Wolf said at the same press conference. "When people get together in that situation, it leads to an exchange in fluids which leads to an increase in infections."

Our governor has a way with words.

John Cleese. I've been reading a novel by "Robert Galbraith" (pen name of JK Rowling) and it contains a description of a condition known as Body Integrity Identity Disorder (or Disphoria). "The term body integrity identity disorder (BIID) describes the extremely rare phenomenon of persons who desire the amputation of one or more healthy limbs or who desire a paralysis. Some of these persons mutilate themselves; others ask surgeons for an amputation."

Am I wrong in thinking of this as a "disorder" or a mental illness? If a person discovered that their teenage daughter had this disphoria (I'm avoiding saying "suffered from this disorder"), should that person help the teen seek out a surgeon who was willing to perform the desired amputation? Should we as a society celebrate individuals with this disphoria, and condemn people who see it as a mental illness? Should health insurance be required to cover the costs of amputation for individuals with this condition?

I hate that this lockdown has killed the tango and swing dancing scene. Those were basically my social outlets. Now that I'm settled in one place and working again, I should get a new gym membership and try to undo the damage of two months on the road living off fast food. Gonna be sexy by the time Spring rolls around, especially since I'm going to spend the holidays alone.

No, you're not wrong. These people are deeply disturbed, and the left continues to enable them. In fact, they make it worse by encouraging it and turning it into a badge of honor and a weapon to use against others.

Somewhere down the road, maybe ten or twenty years from now, there are going to be a lot of angry people looking for justice against the parents, doctors, and therapists who allowed this to occur.

We do not need these people.

They need us.

Period.

Go to church. Meet your friends. Tell the health inspector to fuck off. Tell your pastor to tell the health inspector to take their Nazi Bullshit and fuck off. They cannot control us. They cannot tell us what to do. Businesses are already telling the various government agencies to fuck off and they are finding that margins are a lot better when you don't have to pay taxes.

They have to ask us for permission to run the government for the simple reason that the Government of The United States lives off of the sufferance of the people. If 5% of us tell the IRS to kiss my ass the system collapses. If 5% of the people in any state tell the State to take their property tax bill and shove it the system falls. Most rural sheriffs are already telling despots like Cuomo to fuck off.

So much of what the government does now has nothing to do with how we live. We just do not need them. We will be just fine without them.

It is time to show them that.

None of your stupid bullshit matters anymore prole. Nobody cares. Nobody cares that your courts can't read election laws or the state constitutions they are ignoring.

We don't need DC anymore. We don't need all of these sensitivity trainers and university administrators and lobbyists and cronies. We don't need all of the wars and garbage.

DC needs us to comply. It will be fun when the local law enforcement continues the trend of telling the COVID Nazi's to fuck off to telling the IRS to fuck off too.

Dave Begley: I'm curious. Do you think we've reached the point where we move beyond complaining and engage in active resistance?

If so, how do we counteract the media? Do we create an alternative media?

What about our youth? We need them on our side. They currently seem to have (perhaps unknowingly) embraced the establishment left. I personally don't think our youth fully understand they are supporting "the establishment", the military industrial complex and the end of free expression. They don't seem to understand socialism killed 23 million Russians, 65 million Chinese and 1.3 million Cambodians.

Can we build on Trump's outreach to minorities and urban youth?

On the plus side: The Democrats couldn't win the election without massive cheating. A huge geographic portion of the country remains grounded and productive. The dysfunction is mostly associated with our cities, which are in an obvious state of decline. Massive election fraud in decaying cities seems to be all the left has to offer.

How do we focus our resistance? What in our culture do we seek to change? What are our means of change?

China is the only nation on this planet that is a real threat to us, because beating us, dominating us and stealing our wealth and power has become the central objective their leaders and their culture, and they rightfully see it as attainable. They are the only power with any real capability of doing it. We are giving them a four year head start on getting there that we may never recover from. Only the Bidens and their friends will profit from it, and only for a short while. Afterward, we will be left with the untenable position of losing enormous ground economically and militarily by giving away the last advantages we have left, and all for greed and stupidity. Trump was the first President in our lives who turned that around, and he just got started.

The U.S. has proven that a free democratic nation can be very formidable even against the more immediate power of a dictatorship. We have proven that against Nazi Germany and the USSR, but imagine if either had the advantages in population, raw materials and singular focus on us that China does today. We will not have the allies that Europe had when they needed us. We will be on our own, and we just traded a healthy Tom Brady for a demented Colin Kaepernick at quarterback. China will be invited by our own fecklessness to test us, and that could get very unpleasant. It may well be a mistake from which we won't have time to recover.

Joe Biden’s Tax Agenda Could Cost Gun Owners $34 Billion

Breitbart News reported that Biden’s proposals include a $200 tax for each AR-15 that is already owned, and that tax would also apply to other firearms Democrats label “assault weapons.”

Biden also wants to tax gun owners $200 for every “high capacity” magazine they own.

On November 17, 2020, Breitbart News reported National Shooting Sports Foundation (NSSF) numbers showing that Americans own an estimated 434 million firearms. Nearly 20 million of those firearms are Modern Sporting Rifles, firearms that the Democrats categorizes as “assault weapons.”

Under Biden’s plan, the tax for the nearly 20 million Modern Sporting Rifles alone could be $4 billion.

The NSSF numbers also show that Americans own more than 71 million pistol magazines capable of holding more than ten rounds and “79.2 million rifle magazines capable of holding 30 or more rounds.”

Taking that as a rounded figure of 150 million magazines, the tax on those could be $30 billion.

Add the $4 billion in rifle taxes and the $30 billion in magazine taxes, and American gun owners could owe $34 billion.

I got another antibody test last week. I had one back in early summer. That one was negative. This one now was too. Nobody has tried harder than me to catch this thing. I go to work everyday with dozens of mostly young people, and many of them have had it, and since they all party together and screw each other like rabbits, I suspect most of them have had it, although nobody has gotten sick, but lots of positive tests.

I also have gone to restaurants, casinos, bars, etc. regularly. My partner and I go to a local bar for lunch a couple times a week, and to others on weekends for dinner. Her daughter, who lives with us has a boyfriend who tested positive and they spent a week together when he had it. She drives to work everyday with my partner, who of course, I'm very intimate with. We all work at the aforementioned Woodstock of machine shops. It seems impossible that we don't all have it.

If I never had it then it's unlikely any of us have, and that seems impossible. It's easier to win the damned lottery.

You want evidence of voter fraud in Pennsylvania? Here are the MAIL IN votes in the top 5 Democrat counties:

Allegheny: 340,719 mailed-in ballots received — 54 rejected.
Bucks: 153,016 mailed-in ballots received — 0 rejected.
Chester: 138,813 mailed-in ballots received — 87 rejected.
Delaware: 111,321 mailed-in ballots received — 71 rejected.
Montgomery: 231,415 mailed-in ballots received — 0 rejected.
Philadelphia : 346,196 mailed-in ballots received — 228 rejected.

For all intents and purposes, these Democrat run counties accepted 99.99% of the mail-in votes as valid. This is impossible. The normal reject ratio is - 3%. If Allegany county had rejected just 3% of the ballots, that's 10,000. All told, there are almost 1.4 million votes here. If 3% had been rejected, that's 42,000 votes. They rejected: 428!

Basically, you had the R counties "Playing by the rules" and rejecting invalid votes. And you had the D counties accepting any mail in ballot that had a vote for President.

I know most people tell themselves something like, "if only I was in charge, I'd..." but decades of routine is hard to undo. I imagine there will be lots of blue-ribbon committees that craft rather timid policies, but they will be described with adjectives like historic, aggressive, substantive, meaningful. Also, I predict that America will develop a dislike for Kamala Harris. They will see her as thoroughly fake. Though it won't be as strong of a dislike as that of Hillary Clinton.

There is a poll that shows 30% of Democrats think Biden stole it. That's not everyone, but it means that most Americans believe that . Even if it's half of us, or even less, it's way too many. And that's with the entire media burying the evidence, like they did with the Biden corruption evidence. I suspect that even people who say they don't believe these things do actually believe them, but they have no intellectual honesty. They actually do believe it, because regardless of what we say, we do all believe strong evidence over bullshit. We just don't all admit it.

The people they vote for think they are fucking retards too.

"Reporter Adam Housely posted on Twitter that the bar tab was $15,000 and there were 22 guests at the Kinney birthday dinner – not the 12 Gov. Newsom claimed. If everyone at the party imbibed and/or paid their own bar tab, it would have cost each of the 22 guests $682.00 per person just for the liquor."

It gets better:

“lobbyist Jason Kinney, a veteran political consultant and a long-time Newsom friend who founded a lobbying firm, Axiom Advisors, shortly after Newsom was elected in 2018.”

As Politico pointed out in a quickly reported and written article, “Axiom reaped $10.9 million worth of lobbying work in 2019-20, the first legislative session during which Newsom was governor.”

The firm has nine lobbyists and more than 80 clients, most of whom are corporate entities or coalitions who in Capitol politics would be jousting with interests, such as unions and environmental groups, associated with Newsom’s Democratic Party.”

Maybe in 2000 years DJT religion will be the most dominant religion ever. Every single person in the entire world will have everything they own labeled w/ the Trump brand. Every car, building, park bench, hamster and anything w/ a surface will show allegiance to Trump w/ an image that praises him.

The king of the Trump Cult 2000 years from now will tell everyone what is reality w/o evidence, and every single person in the entire world will believe and follow the leader sans proof.

Cool.

BTW, maybe I’ve missed it, but where is Tradguy in these threads? He’s a good follower. Although he does seem a bit heartbroken ever since his gal Palin crashed and burned as folks saw more and more of her. Even for Tradguy types, reality and time can break through the cult worship. I wonder if instead of Trump Religion taking over the world in the future, maybe his current followers will start to see through the con? Like happened w/ Palin. And, lovers of the Iraq war.

I agree that most folks eventually reverse from errors.

Still, it’d be cool to imagine that 2000 years from now everyone has completely abandoned concern re facts and logic and evidence such that the DJT Religion completely dominates every mind in the world. For now it’s only folks like we see commenting here. Which is already quite satisfying and funny.

I voted for Trump and was disappointed that he lost. Still, I'm not disconsolate. I didn't vote for Obama and wasn't a big fan of his Presidency. However, I don't think it had all that much impact on my happiness. Biden probably won't be a worse President than Obama. His speeches will probably be just as boring, but what with his age and all, they will probably be a lot shorter. So right there, that is an improvement....I live in NYC. DeBlasio is the Mayor here, and he is loathsome and disastrous in ways that are beyond the reach of mere mortals like Biden. But for all that, life goes on and I'm not thinking of moving (quite yet) or joining a militia.

It was 30% of the Ds that went w/ definitely true.

And 36% that went w/ the wiggle wording of somewhat true. Which leaves room for an out and/or interpretation.

What are the odds that the folks who made this poll put that “somewhat” option out as bait to try and juice the number and lump it in w/ the “definitely” respondents? Asking if a certain thing is “somewhat true” seems like a sloppy question. You could ask a person how confidently they believe something may have happened or not happened. But, asking if if a certain thing “somewhat happened” seems odd.

This is Lou Dobbs in 2006 on CNN, talking about Smartmatic and the Venezuelan connection
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RvYSuJwXp9Q

Then there is this,a classified embassy cable from 2006

“The Venezuelan-owned Smartmatic Corporation is a riddle both in ownership and operation, complicated by the fact that its machines have overseen several landslide (and contested) victories by President Hugo Chavez and his supporters. The electronic voting company went from a small technology startup to a market player in just a few years, catapulted by its participation in the August 2004 recall referendum. Smartmatic has claimed to be of U.S. origin, but its true owners — probably elite Venezuelans of several political strains — remain hidden behind a web of holding companies in the Netherlands and Barbados. The Smartmatic machines used in Venezuela are widely suspected of, though never proven conclusively to be, susceptible to fraud.”

mccullough: "Accept the loss."

It is critically important for future elections for the lawsuits to move forward to reassert the supremacy of State Legislative control for determining the rules for federal elections (in alignment with explicit language in the constitution) to minimize the political interference by state executives and activist pro-dem judicial bodies, as well as for future enforcement of the explicit rules for those federal elections.

Deadlines, ballot security and chain of custody, ballot validation, voter verification, rules for ballot tabulation oversight, etc.

There are massive problems in all these areas that must be addressed regardless of how anyone is dealing with election outcomes.

Unless you, McCullough, are arguing its perfectly cool to just let the democraticals not have to answer for destroying ballot envelopes in purposeful disregard of an explicit directive by US Supreme Court Justice Alito, as one example

You arent arguing that, are you McCullough.

If you are then I fundamentally disagree with you.

They kicked republican poll observers out of poll counting stations. They eliminated signature matching. They counted hundreds of thousands of votes with no observers present.

They broke election laws. They broke every agreement we made in advance of the election.

The elections are invalid from that point on.

gadfly said...

In August 2019, U.S. District Judge Amy Totenberg, overseeing a challenge to Georgia’s outdated paperless touchscreen voting system said that after years of inaction in the face of warnings about vulnerabilities, state officials have finally approved a new system. The new system, following specifications approved by the Republican-led state legislature, was put in place for the 2020 primaries. The state’s $106 million contract with Dominion Voting Systems includes new touchscreen voting machines that print a paper record with a code that’s read by a scanner.

There are two signature matches required to vote by absentee ballot in Georgia. The first comes when a voter requests an absentee ballot and must sign that application. If they request one using the new online portal, a photo ID must be uploaded. Voters must then sign the outer envelope that accompanies each ballot. This signature is matched against the absentee ballot application and the voter’s registration application. Counties can also match against signatures on file with the Department of Drivers Services.

Once the signature is matched by elections workers or officials, the ballot and the outer envelope are separated, leaving no personally identifiable information on the ballot itself. That is in order to preserve the secret ballot, and make sure a voter’s choices are not tied back to a voter’s identity. So no signature matching is possible during the audit or recount process.

Non of which are required for a mail in ballot. Anybody can request one. Even non citizens. Without a valid ID as long as they have a mailing address. There is no chain of custody. Either in delivering or in sending.
Here's another one of Rusty's Rules. In any given population if there is an honest way of accomplishing a task and a dishonest way a certain number of that population will always choose the dishonest way. That certain number are almost always democrats.
