Sunrise, 5:19.

IMG_6367

Actual sunrise time: 5:18.

Tomorrow is the first of the 10 days of sunrise at 5:17 — the earliest sunrise time of the year.

I woke up before the alarm this morning, so I've got myself trained to meet the sunrise. I am up for it.

Best time of the year. I really like the early sunrise. Sorry to all you non-earlybirds! (NOT)

It's morning in America and the whole world is cheerleading us on.

Uh oh. There are army camps named after Confederate generals.

My granddaughter, who goes to U of MN sent me this link and photos of the uptown murals in Minneapolis.

Yes, the days get longer in the evenings only at this point (not really, but change in the mornings is measured in seconds over the next ten days). At your latitude, you should gain about another 4-5 minutes of sunlight until you reach the solstice, and about 40-50 seconds in the morning.

Worst time of the year. Astronomical darkness is only 3 hours long (23:30 to 2:30).

At our place up north (Vilas County) the earliest sunrise is 5:06, which occurs from June 12 to 18.

That's nice, Inga. Here's another view of Minneapolis. 50-employee firm leaving Minneapolis after factory was burned down in riot.. They also burned down the "$30 million Midtown Corner affordable housing apartment complex that was under construction next door."

Yeah, an economy built on murals- that is the good stuff.

Don't worry fellows, the history of these days will be written by the victors. Just win baby and you can keep controlling the narrative. It's a free country you just have to do better. No one is going to do it for you. I like Trump's Angle now going after the old man in Buffalo that's the ticket to victory.
