The milkweed flower looks like the coronavirus. It spreads through the air, and takes hold in moist environments, as does Covid 19. It’s taproot goes deep into the earth and is hard to remove. It is very persistent wherever it is found, and multiplies prolifically. Coincidence?

Lost produced basically 3 out 4 of great seasons of entertainment during the first four seasons. I binged the first 4 seasons in the Summer of 2008- I was mesmerized- only season 3 was somewhat lackluster compared to 1,2, and 4, but still quite good. However, that was it. None of the 3 seasons afterwards equaled any of the previous 4. I barely made it through the last season- I almost stopped watching halfway through.
Eddie Willers had a comment in a previous thread about the Season 2 opening sequence in episode 1 as being the best for a season 2 opener ever made. I agree completely. I remember watching it the first time trying to figure what the fuck was going on, and being stunned when it was revealed where Desmond was.

Yeah, I'm surprised not to see any monarch caterpillars on that plant. They're extremely distinctive.
Reminds me of a still life. I like the illumination that comes from the sun low in the sky, it creates interesting colors and contrasts.
Watched the final episode of Ozark season 3 last night. Holy shit what an ending! I know that sort of thing isn't everyone's cup of tea, but I love it. Jason Bateman and Laura Linney are fine actors. The supporting cast are really good too, though generally unknown (to me). Watching it has been an entertaining respite from all the Covid and race baiting hysteria.
Lady Antebellum has changed its name to Frau Dritte Reich.
Laura Linney is two of the three most beautiful actresses active now.
