Notice how we aren't talking about flattening the curve anymore.

That was always a lie meant for leading sheep.

Has Judge Sullivan opened a can of worms? Let's have an evidentiary hearing and call witnesses. How about calling those present at the Jan. 5, 2017, meeting in the Oval Office? Or at the very least, let's ask Susan Rice why weeks after that meeting she wrote that Obama said to investigate Flynn "by the book," which clearly didn't happen.

Sullivan wouldn't permit it but it is nice to dream.

It looks like Althouse is digging a moat to enforce social distancing.

No, it was a "best guess" when nobody knew much. Of course, we know more now.

Cherry blossoms? These pictures are a couple of weeks old.

Does anyone know what has happened to Flynn’s motion to withdraw his guilty plea? Why can’t it be heard while waiting for the amici to brief the motion to dismiss?

Our deck is a backyard diner, for woodpeckers (downy, hairy, and red-bellied), finches (gold and house), sparrows, nuthatches, mourning doves, cardinals, Eastern blue birds, blue jays, and, alas, a flock of grackles that can go through a $2.50 suet cake in a day.

AZ Bob: "Has Judge Sullivan opened a can of worms?"

Sullivan is going full Amy Berman Jackson. Sullivan had previously ruled 24 times that amicus briefs would not be accepted for a criminal proceeding but suddenly, after the DOJ's Jensen does a basic inspection of what Mueller's hacks have been up to, whammo, case dropped...

....but that's not what Sullivan wanted. Sullivan and the dems can't have Flynn walking away before the 2020 election, which is why Sullivan was just dragging this out.

So now that the DOJ was going to take away his "precious", Sullivan decides to throw the rules out the window and turn his courtroom into another Adam Schiff-ty impeachment trial to help the dems political narratives. Particularly important to the left now that we have all the declassified docs which shows just how much of a lie its been for 4+ years now.

That's whats going on here.

Sullivan is obambi/bidens newest in the spotlight "wing man".

And it appears we will very soon have the documentary evidence to show that Putin and his Kremlin pals wanted Hillary to win (duh, we already knew that all along) and that Commie Muslim Brotherhood pal CIA schmuck Brennan suppressed that evidence and then broke all protocol and rules for intel report generation and had only his little pals write it up and get Clapper and Comey to go along with the lie that Putin wanted Trump to win.

You will note that Adm Mike Rogers of the NSA (the guy all the obamaites wanted fired for shutting off the FISA 702 spigot for dem oppo research) did not go along with the hoaxed up report "conclusions".

Sullivan threw it in the circular bin,

@Meade
how 'bout an 8'-10' arbor vitae plant screen across the back.

...with a focal point terminus/ pediment/ garden element
something like this but not so stiff/bland

C'mon, man! You gotta be tired of looking at the ass-end of that garage!

Ingachuck'stoothlessARM said...

doesnt Sullivan hang with the same court as the FISA Court?
The Boasberg/ Collyer/ Contreras crowd? Didnt he have to be removed
from the case because of his personal relationship with Strzok?
Didnt they sign the first FISA?

Nice redbud. The redbuds in Brooklyn are mostly finished blooming and are now leafing. The last one still in bloom is at the end of the Promenade, mostly shaded.

Actually, I'll probably just blow up a photo and hang it on that garage.

Why was it kept a secret in the first place?

AA,

I would be interested in your opinion of the no-knock raids on the wrong residences that lead to the murder of innocents...and if the residents try to defend themselves, murder charges.

Our early lunch crowds consist of deer and elk. We've got a four foot high fence around our back yard but that doesn't stop the deer.

That leave mold is gold, Jerry! I'm always baffled by the bags of leaves that get thrown away. For pete's sake, just run them over with the lawnmower and save yourself hundreds of dollars in fertilizer costs.

PS - Pretty sure that a redbud tree, a native. Like the dogwood there are many cultivars but the original has never been improved upon.

Can't we compromise? How about I add: "Zeus Watch Over Our Redbuds"

THIS is a compromise!

Redbud in my backyard today.

I finished the yard scything cycle today, begin again on the acre tomorrow.

I've decided to go with the hayfield motif for the backyard, leaving the windrow that forms on the left, partly because it looks nice and partly because half the time spent scything is disposing of the windrow. The front yard stays with the golf course green motif, with windrow raked away.

I suppose I could buy a tedder, but I'd need a horse.

I once accidentally spooked a herd of deer dropping my do off at his school bus stop on my way to work. They went over a six foot fence like it wasn’t there.

@Meade &@Althouse, you are making me think of O Henry’s story “The Last Leaf.”
