That may be what the Chinese in the Wuhan lab were trying to do, or at least modify it.

There is a little similarity to the polio virus, as children were least affected. Salk took 20 years and Sabin almost beat him to it. A man named Brodie had a killed Polio vaccine in 1935 but it didn't work and caused cases of paralytic and fatal polio. This cannot be rushed. They noted that the shooter was black, and that he killed four white and one Hispanic coworker; they also noted that unnamed others claimed there was a lot of racism at the company.

You live closer than I do (I'm north of Redmond). But I don't think LifeCare is "hospice". My impression is that LifeCare is - like most similar facilities - a combination nursing home and rehab facility. The two are probably in different wings or floors. My father ended up in nearby "rehab" floors following various surgeries or hospitalization, but it wasn't until his last few months that he needed full-time "nursing" care.

On TV the other night (KOMO4), a woman was trying to visit her brother who was in rehab following surgery - they wouldn't let her in. It's the ones in the "nursing" part that see to have been most fragile. I know that if my father (who had asthma) had been exposed to Coved-19, he would have been a goner.; 3/4/20, 11:13 PM

New theory this morning: It's about the Democratic Primary. Chuck Schumer is picking a fight in order to unify the Democratic Party against a common enemy.

For a very fleeting moment, just until California finishes counting the absentee ballots and awards the rest of their delegates, Joe Biden is in first place. At this moment, Bernie Sanders finally has just one opponent and needs to go on the attack and show how vulnerable Biden is, but now he can't. You don't pick a fight with the soldier next to you in the middle of a battle.

Democrats will unify today against Donald Trump's supposedly-hypocritical attack against Chuck Schumer and the Illegitimate Supreme Court's attack on a woman's right to choose. And they will unify behind the current frontrunner for the nomination: Joe Biden. Heck, it's a perfect issue for him. Older Democrats have spent their lives watching him grill Supreme Court nominees -- inventing phrases like "Super-Dooper Stare Decisis" in his passionate defense of a woman's right to choose.

And if that means that Bernie Sanders can't land a good punch against Joe Biden in this crucial window in the nomination fight, well that's just a shame. Some things are more important.

And when I show you losers exactly where and how Romney condemned Schumer, then I get the response that Romney’s condemnation was from the wrong Twitter account. This is an unusually determined kind of stupid.

So let’s work this some more. Trump wasn’t an idiot simply for his multiple clumsy references to Democratic and Republican judges. Trump called a US District Judge, born in East Chicago and educated at Indiana University “a Mexican judge.”

Trump recently lied about Judge Amy Berman Jackson as she presided over the Roger Stone sentencing, posing a phony question as to whether she had been the judge who put Paul Manafort in “solitary confinement.” She didn’t. It was a lie.

Trump called District Judges who ruled against his proposed travel bans “so-called judges.” And when then-Judge Neil Gorsuch was asked about by by Senator Blumenthal and Gorsuch criticized the remarks, Trump lies again and claimed that Gorsuch had been mischaracterized.

And now Trump is claiming that Justices Ginsburg and Sotomayor should recuse themselves from cases involving Trump. Trump is obviously wrong about Sotomayor, and while Justice Ginsburg has said one or two things about Trump personally that may have been ill-advised, the way to make a recusal case is through your appellate counsel, not your Twitter account. As one of nine Supreme Court Justices, the recusal case against Ginsburg is weak.

So while there is every good reason to criticize Schumer for his horrendous remarks about Kavanaugh and Gorsuch, the last person with any standing to make that criticism is Trump.; 3/5/20, 7:21 AM
