The invention of color photography will forever change the taking of pictures :/sarc
The winning photo is stunning. Love these thanks
What's the point of Good Architectural Design that can only be viewed from a drone?
Some of the photos -- the balcony by the sea -- look so much like paintings. Beautiful.
Nice. Made me go learn about something new to me, too - axonometry.
That's a painted vagina on the building cluster.
Thanks for posting this; something I would never have found on my own.
A nice break from the depressing shit of the regular news cycle.
Very nice. Architectural photography is challenging and a real specialty.
Beautiful and not one from America. Our architects need to up their game.
Most of them eliminate the "distraction" of people.
nice
The last image on the page—"Bexhill Promenade Shelter"—caught my eye. Just last night I saw "Children of Men" for the first time and Bexhill-on-Sea is where the last third of the movie takes place (in a way that isn't very elegant or appealing).
Thank you! That was really lovely, and I never would've seen it if you hadn't linked. I really appreciate this type of post!
The pictures depict style and elegance, but "The Art of Building Photographer of the Year" is about as clumsy a construction as one can imagine.
