Lisa Page talks like Trump.

That's the way things look at The Daily Beast.
For the nearly two years since her name first made the papers, she’s been publicly silent (she did have a closed-door interview with House members in July 2018). I asked her why she was willing to talk now. “Honestly, his demeaning fake orgasm was really the straw that broke the camel’s back,” she says. The president called out her name as he acted out an orgasm in front of thousands of people at a Minneapolis rally on Oct. 11, 2019.
Yes, it was that fake orgasm! That was the last straw! Did he really do that? I had to track down the video myself. Here (I think the "orgasm" is between 1:20 and 1:32):

Anyway, it was the headline that got me. Page is talking like Trump. I did nothing! No crime! But the "orgasm" motivation icing on the cake.

ADDED: Big Streisand effect on that fake orgasm. I had forgotten it, and now I'm watching it over and over and laughing a lot. Maybe Page thinks she can get women stirred up on her behalf, because the fake orgasm was "demeaning." But Trump was imitating Strzok, the man, so let's just see if the men of America take umbrage that Trump did a comical male orgasm.

That was a pathetic orgasm. It demeaned to Strzok the arrogant lefty beta male.

Trump obviously misused his office to insult people. For that High Crime, he must be impeached.

Fake orgasm. Fake 302 edits.

One of these is a threat to the rule of law and Constitution.

Ms Page may have done both, but certainly the latter per past IG reports.

The correct answer is 'What is using your position in the FBI to pair with a secret cabal in the FBI and CIA to create a silent back-door coup to remove a properly and legally elected President of the US because he's not the one you voted for.' So sorry Lisa. Here's US Attorney John Durham to tell you what you've won.

I dunno, I think that what Page and her vowel-challenged paramour did was pretty demeaning -- "demeaning" in the sense that it caused them to lose their dignity and the respect of others -- especially as officers of the so-called "intelligence community." Maybe they thought that no one could hear them: (I think We're Alone Now) but that was no excuse.

Over at Power Line my friend Scott Johnson has a post on the same topic. He cites a text message between the famous lovers about "ONCONUS lures." That's spook speak for people outside the continental US used by the CIA as traps for American citizens. In this case that would be Misfud and that other guy who's name escapes me now.

We want an audio of a real Lisa Paige orgasm for comparison purposes.

"The term OCONUS lures, shorthand for spies “Outside the Continental United States,” was featured in a Dec. 28, 2015 text from FBI agent Peter Strzok, the lead FBI agent on the Trump investigation, to FBI lawyer Lisa Page, asking, “You get all our oconus lures approved?”

The FBI and CIA were using spies to get at the Trump campaign. You got a problem with that?

Two posts of mine from Ann’s coyote cafe (anyone who has read them should just ignore them).

Couple interesting things popped this Sunday evening after Thanksgiving. Most interesting to me are these: FBI Lovebird and Trump-Hater Lisa Page Insists She’s Non-Partisan – But Her Twitter Page Tells a Different Story

FBI lovebird and Trump hater Lisa Page broke her silence on Sunday night. Page is speaking out publicly for the first time just days before the Department of Justice Inspector General report is set for release on December 9th. Page and Strzok exchanged text messages which were made public that exposed their affair and showed extreme political bias with statements that fueled concerns of a Deep State conspiracy against President Trump.

Lisa Page insists she is the victim.

“I’m done being quiet”: FBI Love Bird Lisa Page Breaks Silence on Eve of DOJ IG Report, Portrays Herself as Victim of President Trump

Former FBI lawyer Lisa Page, who gained notoriety as the anti-Trump lover of FBI agent Peter Strzok, is speaking out publicly for the first time just days before the Department of Justice Inspector General report is set for release on December 9. Page and Strzok exchanged text messages which were made public that exposed their affair and showed extreme political bias with statements that fueled concerns of a Deep State conspiracy against President Trump....

Page’s Twitter account was vouchsafed by Lawfare Blog editor in chief Benjamin Wittes.

This is significant. She is being vouched for, and being brought aboard, by one of the top Lawfare people. Now lower downs, like Schifty, Wadler, and Palsi, but their editor in chief. And apparently the guy who worked with Mueller lead prosecutor Andrew Weissman to develop the misinterpretation of that one Obstruction of Justice statute on display in the Mueller Report that essentially changed the required Mens Rea from specific intent to general intent.

It has long been suspected that Page flipped on the rest of the conspirators, most notably her old boss, former DD McCabe. For one thing, it is very clear in IG Horowitz’s leak investigation that got McCabe fired, that she was the person whose testimony sank McCabe’s career. Horowitz believed her, and not him, about him authorizing leaks. For similar reasons, many believed that she had flipped for USA Durham. Maybe not.

Mattman26 said...

No, just breathing hard.

Bruce Hayden said...

And:

I think that Lisa Page May escape being charged with a crime in the DOJ IG report on FISA abuse. She mostly operated in an advisory role. Which means that about all that they could charge her for would be conspiracy. This doesn’t mean that she is blameless, but rather merely that her role was indirect. Contrast this with the role of another FBI lawyer, Kevin Clinesmith, who appears to have actually falsified FISA application documents. She might have been charged at one point for strategic leaking, but was able to document that she was doing so under McCabe’s orders. McCabe got fired instead.

Reading a lot of her text messages with Strzok, much of it sounds like Page panicking about Trump getting elected, and Strzok manfully assuring her that everything was just fine. She would help him communicate with her boss, McCabe, and with him to work around his immediate boss, Bill Priestap, to get to McCabe. But time, and again, it was Strzok who had the direct role. I do wonder if this is why Strzok appears to have stepped out of his marriage with her - his wife appears to be a real ball buster, and not nearly as careful. Upon discovering the affair by seeing the text messages between the two love birds on his phone, she blew everything up by confronting Page, starting the chain of events that first got her husband discredited, then fired. I would have loved to have been privy to that conversation, between two hard left government attorneys over that slime bag. Of the two, Page appears to be the (careful) passive aggressive one, and Strzok’s wife the direct, aggressive, one. I like that better, but can also see the allure of the damsel in distress ploy in the face of too much directness in a woman (my women over the last three decades have been the direct type, eschewing female subterfuge, never treating me as their hero, and, thus making me vulnerable to women who do - though I never strayed out of my relationships or marriages with these other women).

This is why she is a perfect fit with the Lawfare Group. Any means is justified by the end. And their desired end seems to be some sort of socialist utopia where they are among the more equal. Among the elite who get to pilot the socialist state to ever greater accomplishments. Etc. To me, her sins violating her marriage vows are far eclipsed by those of the group that she appears to have joined, which was instrumental in turning FISA into a political weapon under the Obama Administration, then in using the archaic Logan Act to bridge between FISA and a criminal investigation of Trump, fraudulently obtaining FISA warrants to spy on the Republican nominee, President Elect, and elected President, and his staff, entrapping Trump’s NSA, Gen Flynn in a perjury trap, setting up the Mueller SC investigation of Trump to investigate Russian Collusion (known to be bogus), despite no provision for such in DOJ SC rules, forcing the Mueller investigation to be kept open by deliberately misinterpreting that Obstruction state to change the Mens Rea requirement (which made shutting down the SC investigation for any reason, whatsoever, criminal), and most lately, the entire House impeachment process, from the rewrite of the committee rules in December of 2016, through Schifty’s basement star chamber hearings, to Wadler’s Giving the President 4 days to respond to his demands, while he is off in Europe at a top level NATO conference, executing his Presidential duties. All Lawfare. All violating societal and legal standards, because their ends justify any means, including permanently altering the relationship between branches of government, and between the permanent bureaucracy and the American public that they are Constitutionally required to serve, but don’t I the Lawfare world.

Mike Sylwester said...

It seems to me that Lisa Page has been allowed to read the parts of Inspector General Horowitz's report about herself and has seen that no prosecutions are recommended against herself.

So, she now feels free to crow publicly.

She better be more careful. Attorney General Barr is not limited by the IG report. Barr still can prosecute Page's ass, no matter what the IG report recommends.

Bruce Hayden said...

“Lisa Page is irked because she provided a lot of legal justification in the scheme to set up Michael Flynn for an eventual jail sentence, but Flynn STILL has not been sentenced -- and now almost three years have passed.”

And her part in it has come out - providing Strzok with the edits to his FD 302 that would support at least two of the four charges against Flynn, apparently created out of thin air. She was working directly for DD McCabe, who turned around and personally approved Strzok’s (apparently) fraudulent 302s on the perjury trap that McCabe personally set up with Trump’s newly installed NSA, Gen Flynn. BUT it very much appears that Strzok made the actual changes to the 302s, not Page. She only provided him with her “suggested” edits, that would get her boss’ approval. Which may, again get her off the hook.

Bruce Hayden said...

“So, she now feels free to crow publicly.”

Not sure if she is really crowing publicly, or finally letting her real self, as a despicable Lawfare activist, willing to destroy any societal or legal standard for political advantage, be seen.

“Lisa Page is irked because she provided a lot of legal justification in the scheme to set up Michael Flynn for an eventual jail sentence, but Flynn STILL has not been sentenced -- and now almost three years have passed.”

And I don’t think that he ever will be sentenced. I think that they crossed the wrong federal judge, and the entire scheme is now quickly falling apart. The original part of the scheme to setup Flynn for a perjury trap was almost assuredly planned around her boss, Andy McCabe’s $70k conference room table, and executed by her boss and her lover, Peter Strzok, working together. As is obvious from their infamous text messages, she is the one who tied the two together. And her job was to provide legal advice to McCabe, and that means that she was almost assuredly involved hind the scenes making sure that all of the legal “I”s were dotted and “T”s crossed.

Funny thing though is that it is very likely that both McCabe and Strzok violated 18 USC 1001, the statute that Flynn was charged under, in order to setup the perjury trap. Remember- Gen Flynn was also a federal official at the time, and both McCabe and Strzok lied to him. And it was material, since Flynn was charged with 4 felonies as a result of their lies. Moreover, someone had to have lied to a federal official in order for the two of them to have acquired the UNMASKED telephone transcript of the FISA intercepted Flynn phone call with the Russian Ambassador, that was the basis for the perjury trap.

However, this public claim that she's not a partisan is laughable on its face- you only have to read her fucking texts to and from Strzok to understand that both of them should have recused themselves from any investigation with a political angle in the 2016 election. We know this is true because both were forceably removed from the Mueller investigation as soon as the texts were revealed internally. Comey, McCabe, Mueller, the "diplomats," you name it: do any of them come out looking better? Is there anyone in the FBI, the CIA, the Mueller team, or the national security apparatus, who has been even remotely involved in the anti-Trump campaign, of whom we can legitimately say that we are glad such people represent our country?

The deep state has succeeded in stymieing Trump and may yet succeed in removing him. But they have paid a high price: their moral and professional corruption has been made plain for all to see.

Probably yes, definitely no, and who cares?
Howard's alleged ignorance of who these people are is what the Catholic Church calls crass, supine, or vincible ignorance, and it's a sin for Catholics and an evil deed for everyone. As Wikipedia puts it, "While invincible ignorance [=inability to know something, often from stupidity] eliminates culpability, vincible ignorance at most mitigates it, and may even aggravate guilt."
A non-religious example of crass ignorance aggravating guilt would be intentionally not looking up whether some dubious deduction you're taking on your taxes is or is not legal, so you can not-so-honestly assert after you're caught that you "didn't know" it was illegal. Howard doesn't know anything about these people because he doesn't want to know what they did, because it would damage his anti-Trump world-view if he knew the truth. He's crassly, supinely, vincibly ignorant, but not stupid. As Saul Bellow put it, "A great deal of intelligence can be invested in ignorance when the need for illusion is deep."

What a sordid disgusting mess. She’s homely — I mean, that photo represents the best efforts of professionals, let’s remember — and wrecked three marriages just to feel pretty for a few hours here and there. The two married guys she was screwing were evidently so completely without dignity or standards that they destroyed their families to stick their dicks into crazy whose only attraction was novelty. God I hate humans sometimes. They are hard to like.
