"You would think there is NO WAY that any of the Democrat Candidates that we witnessed last night could possibly become President of the United States. Now you see why they have no choice but to push a totally illegal & absurd Impeachment of one of the most successful Presidents!"

Tweeted Trump this morning.

Meade texted me that, and I said:
very funny. so true
and yet that's how most people felt about him in 2016
Meade responded:
Contrast: no one is now saying—well if Biden somehow does get elected, we’ll just impeach him

Those people are not impressive and their ideas are lunatic. Tom Steyer is a billionaire but he's all in on climate change and said that impeaching Trump is just like when his dad was a lawyer at the Nuremberg trials.

Mayor Peter talks well but he is a failed mayor of a small town. South Bend is a top 20 murder city.

Maybe Trumps people should have an "insurance Policy" if he is losing.....It's okay now to do that. Peter Strzok is still around and kicking and not in prison yet.

In fairness, what the Congressional Dems appear to be doing isn't technically "totally illegal", just outside of the historic norms and establised precedents. I believe they're being really stupid though and that Trump is winning the greater meta game.

The Democrats are running a sham impeachment to try to push down Trump's
approval numbers. I don't think it will work,

readering, you might read this and learn something.

A generation of military and defense thinkers have matured fighting wars in the Middle East. The Long War has been their career. Several generations spent their careers expecting Soviet tanks to surge into the Fulda Gap. Cold Warriors believed a world without the Cold War was unthinkable. The same can be said for those shaped by Middle Eastern wars. For the Cold War generation, the NATO alliance was the foundation of their thinking. So too for the Sandbox generation, those whose careers were spent rotating into Iraq or Afghanistan or some other place, the alliances formed and the enemies fought seemed eternal. The idea that the world had moved on, and that Fulda and NATO were less important, was emotionally inconceivable. Any shift in focus and alliance structure was seen as a betrayal.

If you are a 2000 to 2019 army officer, all you know is middle east wars. It seems normal.

Shouldn't we? Don't we have a video confession of Biden threatening Ukraine with a quid-pro-quo? If it's an impeachable offence for Trump, so it is for Biden.

Some of the people saying that about Trump weren’t all that bright and some were saying it as a mantra in the belief it would help ensure Democrats would win.

LOLOLOLOL

Not a single question during the democrat self-flagellation event about the economy and only one passing comment by Li'l Tomahawk Warren mimicking Trump on unfair Trade deals!!

Of course, Trump is tweeting about Syria/Turkey/Kurds this morning to counteract the latest lefty lies and lunacy and if he hadn't readering and her minion-y pals would be jabbering about how Trump dares not tweet about it!!

Hilarious.

Anybody see the Moody election model Crystal Ball predictions and the Ohio independent voter feedback on the democrat Hoax Impeachment due to Hoax Russia Collusion/Hoax "dossier"/Hoax Ukraine phone call lies?

Not. Very. Good. For. Our. Marxist. Dems.

At all.

BTW readering, just this morning Li'l Tomahawk Warren stealthily deleted her previous twitter posts about being a Native American!!

It's almost like she has something to hide!!

Not to worry. The republicans already have the attack ads written and in the hopper. The best part?

All the republicans have to do is show the democrats talking about their own policies and beliefs and with a tag line at the end: "I'm Donald Trump and I approve this ad"

Nothing more powerful than that. The Midwesterners are going to love Love LOVE the Free Everything for Illegal aliens, including MS-13 machete murderers.

So, yes, President Trump has been a remarkably successful president.

For those of you who want to see the U.S. sunk in yet another war in the Middle East, under the apparent delusion that this time the outcome will be different, I suggest you review the outcome of the last 70 years of U.S. involvement in the Middle East.

Biden's cognitive decline is already quite noticeable. If he becomes POTUS, his cabinet will soon realize that he is incapable of performing his duties. That is why his VP is really important.

My guess as to his running mate: Michelle Obama.

The Democrats impeached Nixon in 1974, ending 100 years of precedent.

Which made it a bit easier 20 years later for the Republicans to impeach Clinton because of the Nixon precedent.

Now the Democrats are making it even easier to impeach Trump because of the Clinton precedent.

What rough beast, its hour come round at last, slouches towards Bethlehem to be born?

I kept on thinking . . . Oh my god - absolutely NO WAY that some (many) of those people were qualified to be President.

I would have been embarrassed to have been in their shoes. Who in their right mind ever told them that "you should run for President?" NO - just NO!!!

At times it seemed more like a middle school debate than a Presidential debate - I will admit that some of that is due to everyone "taking on" some of the techniques used by Trump. Some people can use those techniques - but most people can't.

Stop it. Michelle Obama will not be running for anything. She's a light weight, and she knows it.

If this President was a Democrat with his performance so far, he would still win 70% of the vote. Anti-Republican bigotry by the media and Democrat voters is really the problem, and it's why we can't have nice things like a great economy, low taxes, high revenue, America-first policies, and rising fortunes for everybody, especially minorities.

I was talking with a business associate today who has a lot of union friends he was recently out to lunch with. According to him, they are very happy with all the work available under this president, and they were united in support of his reelection.

If Bernie wins, I predict intense competition for the VP slot. Maybe Booker to continue the sequence: B to A; A to B.....Of course, Biden, while not the favorite, has to rank pretty high in the Death Pool. Longer odds than Bernie, but he's got a shot. Warren looks energetic but that might be because of the uppers. There's something unnatural about her energy. When she crashes, she'll go splat. The VP slot for the front runners is a much more coveted spot than usual....It's hard to predict these things. Here's a little known fact: Wendell Wilkie croaked before FDR. Massive coronary.

bagoh20 said...

readering: "All the Democrats on stage last night hold up pretty well in comparison to the President on TV this morning."

By what standard do any of them compare. Certainly not results. Who among them has accomplished even a tiny fraction as much. You can compare them before or after he became President, and since he has, it's hard to find anyone in history as accomplished in three years.

But, hey, he doesn't say things the way I prefer so let's can him for someone who says things I like, even if they screw me and my country over. Who needs jobs, higher wages, and less body bags from overseas when we can feel good about being woke as we stand in line for free government cheese.

It's already failed. Rasmussen has Trump's Approval Index today at -3, exactly where it was when Pelosi announced her "formal" impeachment inquiry. Trump's Approval Index went down for three weeks, but has now recovered. It took almost three years for voters to see through the Russia-collusion hoax, but only three weeks for them to recognize the same pattern with the Ukraine kerfuffle. I predict the next "crisis" will last only three days, and the one after that only three hours. Soon we'll be at the point where the threats to Trump's reelection don't even last through commercial breaks on CNN.
