Awesome, good for them!

P.S. My world champion Red Sox are done, done, done. All over but the crying, which I can't muster for this bunch any way.

Going to root for these guys in stead.

Baseball season has started?

Despite heading for a 95 win season, my Indians effectively clinched watching it on TV.

Congratulations to Brewer fans.

Haven't been a true sports fan since the 1970s, and that video sums up why.

Not only do they have plastic draped to contain the champagne spray of the choreographed celebration...

It's carefully hung with sponsor logos on it.

We saw first-time champs in the NBA and NHL this year; can MLB be next?

(And then #7 for the Patriots!)

Not that I care who the AL Central serves up to the Yankees for their divisional snack, but why does the first clip start with Paul Ryan front and center in a Brewers costume? Now I don't like them at all.

Congratulations! I'd love to see an Astros vs Brewers World Series.

So, in theory, Milwaukee could wind up drinking champagne for clinching a playoff spot, drinking champagne for winning the wild card game, drinking champagne for winning the division series, drinking champagne for winning the LCS, and finally drinking champagne for winning the World Series.

Fitting for a team called the Brewers!

That's not Paul Ryan, that's Brewers manager Craig Counsell.

Second straight great September by Milwaukee but this year I think the fun stops pretty quickly. No Yelich and too many pitchers down.

Congrats to the Brew Crew!

The low budget A's are on track for the wildcard, too.

pretty enthusiastic, for a one game play off...
But, what do i know? I'm a Cubs fan, and a one game play off is oodles better than an 8 game losing streak

The Brewers last appeared in the World Series in 1982. I went to a lot of games that year. In 1983, I departed Milwaukee. Apparently the team has missed my support over the last several decades.

Say, Althouse, lately when you post a Twitter item, like this one, the text blinks on and then disappears, and I can't read the parts that are twittered.

it looks like you have a couple of them here today, and i love Twitter so I wanna read em, so its frustrating. It's only begun happening recently, so thought maybe others have that problem and what to do?

thanks

I've been having cf's problem too, on this site and others.
