I can understand the cynicism, where promises are made, actions are made to get elected, the term for Republican's is RINO. Cuck is another term. They don't walk the talk. All smoke, no action.

Which is why you got Trump. And I would not classify Trump as right wing. It would be a good blog topic to discuss what is Right Wing. Is it the Boogyman? Does Rand Paul count? Trump? Is the right ring different than Conservative? Religious?

I am amazed at how disciplined the Democratic party representatives are. Amazing feat by Pelosi.

Leland said...: I always felt that the Star Spangled Banner would have been more appropriate. It is the national anthem. The line "the flag was still there" was appropriate for the day. We had just been attacked, yet we were still here and would whether this new war as we had previous ones. And "God Bless America" invoked the religious aspects of the war that the Al Qaeda wanted to fight, and Congress and the President would later deny wanting to fight.
