About the UK ambassador who is no longer welcome because of his off mic remarks.

It's amazing how the people who caterwaul about Trump being unprofessional are so unprofessional in how they convey the accusations.

Why, it's almost as if they don't really believe in - oh you know the rest. ;)

That is the long-promised "storm" of indictments.
I assume.

I suspect things are going to get quite complicated, regardless of indictments.

I don't know how wide-spread the news became, but we here in DC almost got washed away this morning, when 3.3 in. of rain fell in a hour. I'm amazed no died! Streets flooded even downtown (e.g. 15th & Constitution NW), and Niagara Falls coming through the roof in multiple metro stations.

From local Fox affiliate.

Ehh. It’s certainly embarrassing that the comments leaked, but that kind of frank talk is to be expected between an ambassador and his or her home country. It’s part of the reason the release of the diplomatic cables was such a headache for the US.

I knew from a friend in the DC that there had been thunderstorm activity yesterday but didn't give it much thought; the photos etc this afternoon were a surprise.

What I remember was this: Now, I've watched the entire opening statement by Dr. Ford. She seemed very credible to me. Though she was reading, she seemed to be reliving a real, traumatic experience. It's hard to imagine that she could be infusing her speech with that kind of emotion phonily. Even an excellent actress would have difficulty affecting that kind of emotion

I watched Somehow Ann got from that to I have never stated whether or to what extent I think Christine Blasey-Ford was lying or confused or mistaken.

Hmmmmm....

Likewise: lies.

@narciso, Ward committed suicide as the prosecution was summing up.

Something about this doesn't smell right. For starters, Comey's daughter is the prosecutor. Secondly it's too far out from the general election to impact Trump.

I have a suspicion that the Fat Lady sees the impending 2020 clown car crash and is warming up in the wings (she's fundraising for the Dems, aka, testing the waters). Bill will simply be collateral damage which has a nice symmetry to it.

BARR: So, what have you two come up with?

MUELLER: Well, we've thought about this in a variety of ways. But the basic idea is I will play the Special Counsel-

WEISSMANN: (Interrupting) May I?

MUELLER: Go ahead.

WEISSMANN: I think I can sum up the impeachment for you with one word: NOTHING.

BARR: Nothing?

WEISSMANN: (Smiling) Nothing.

BARR: (Unimpressed) What does that mean?

WEISSMANN: The impeachment is about nothing.

MUELLER: (To WEISSMANN) Well, it's not about nothing.

WEISSMANN: (To MUELLER) No, it's about nothing.

MUELLER: Well, maybe in philosophy. But, even nothing is something.

(MUELLER and WEISSMANN glare at each other. The receptionist enters)

Receptionist: Mr. Barr, your niece is on the phone.

BARR: I'll call back.

(Receptionist leaves)

WEISSMANN:(Attempting to spell his last name) B-A-R-D-D?

BARR: (Obviously dislikes WEISSMANN) Not even close.

WEISSMANN: Is it with a "y"?

BARR: No.

ROSENSTEIN: What's the premise?

MUELLER: ..Well, as I was saying, I would play the Special Counsel, and, as the former head of the FBI, living in Washington DC, I have a friend, a neighbor, and an ex-girlfriend, which is all true.

WEISSMANN: Yeah, but nothing happens on the impeachment. You see, it's just like life. You know, Trump eats, Trump goes shopping, Trump reads.. Trump eats, Trump reads, Trump goes shopping.

BARR: Trump reads? Trump reads is the basis for the impeachment?

MUELLER: Well, I don't know about the reading.. We didn't discuss the reading.

BARR: All right, tell me, tell me about the stories. What kind of stories?

WEISSMANN: Oh, no. No stories.

BARR: No stories? So, what is it?

WEISSMANN: (creating an example) What'd you do today?

BARR: I got up and came to work.

WEISSMANN: There's impeachment. That's impeachment.

BARR: (Confused) How is that impeachment?

MUELLER: Well, uh, maybe something happens on the way to work.

WEISSMANN: No, no, no. Nothing happens.

MUELLER: Well, something happens.

BARR: Well, why am I accepting it?

WEISSMANN: Because it's on TV.

BARR: (Threatening) Not yet.

WEISSMANN: Okay, uh, look, if you want to just keep on doing the same old thing, then maybe this idea is not for you. I, for one, am not going to compromise my legalistic integrity. And I'll tell you something else, this is the impeachment and we're not going to change it.

(To MUELLER) Right?

(A moment passes)

MUELLER: (To BARR) How about this: Trump takes a tax write off for a circus…

per @willchamberlain

My Occam's Razor explanation:
Epstein was a sociopathic pedophile who realized the simplest way for him to get rich - and stay "safe" - was to blackmail powerful people with life-destroying material
And he just did that for two decades while pretending to run a hedge fund

This description of Jeffrey Epstein's hedge fund (from 2002) reads like complete and utter bullshit.
Billionaires giving Epstein full POWER OF ATTORNEY over their money?
Epstein turning down $500 million accounts?
No investment team - just admin staff?
BS - this was a front

Dwight Yoakam Lyrics
"Blame The Vain"

I blame the vain for what we wear,
And I blame the blind when we can't see.
I blame it all on someone else,
Till there's nobody left, then I just blame me.

I blame her mind for the thoughts we share,
Whoa, and I blame her heart for the time we cared.
I blame it all on how we used to be,
Till she's finally gone, then I'll just blame me.

So go ahead and blame,
Anything that you want.
'Cause it all ends up the same,
When everything that you've been claiming is wrong.

Oh and don't you know that blame,
Is always never enough.
It just keeps you in the game,
Till you've only got yourself left to bluff.

So I blame the vain for what we wear,
Yeah, and I'll blame the blind when we can't see.
I'll blame it all on someone else,
Till there's nobody left, then I'll just blame me.
Till she's fin'lly gone, then I just blame me

Wow! 3.5 inches of rain in an hour in DC., and then Q's Storm arrived with a bang.

New message drops from Q have been rare for the past 6 weeks, but tonight the iphone QDrop sounds have been going off like that 3.5 inches of rain. I tried to ignore them , but the wife kept asking me to look and tell her what he had said. That degree of curiosity coming from a usually disinterested in politics person means the people are ready for the rest of the story.

Interesting coming events are: Flynn gets restored. We'll see Sessions as a hero. And the British government played a major role in the Obama attempt to destroy the President.

Ingachuck'stoothlessARM said...

Flynn will not get "restored", remember he climbed in rank under Clinton/Bush/Obama. And correct me if I am wrong but he does not have a Purple Heart.
Sessions is not a hero, he messed up big time, for selfish reasons. But he is old and nobody cares.

Well you got the British government subornation of treason correct, so there's that. But from the Brit point of view ti was not treason, just politics. Dirty politics, and they should be ashamed of themselves - but the Brits are not American citizens, and they cannot commit treason in the United States.

So go on and pour yourself some wine,

with who'll ever spend your time,

as if I give a damn, you know that's just the way i s,

So go on and have yourself a ball, you'll be at no one's beck and call.

And with that fire in your eye, another lover's moon will rise, someone else will take the fall.

And that's just the way you are, I've known all along. Some candle's always burn, even when the night is gone, but the longest of the flames, won't burn eternally, when you find another friend who'll light your candle up again, you can burn one done for me.
