Tank has had pneumonia a couple of times and gladly got the vaccine. Pneumonia was painful, the vaccine was not. Now the shingles vaccine, that was painful.; 3/8/19, 4:43 PM

William said...: I don't think Whoopi inspires that much hatred. I don't think it's hateful to be wrong on most issues, and she's frequently wong in a likable way.......Pneumonia isn't the worst way to make your exit. It's preferable to one of those diseases that you have to struggle with for a year or two, and that's what happens when you get old and survive a bout with pneumonia. Be ironic if she got whooping cough and died from that. Ironic probably isn't the right word.; 3/8/19, 6:00 PM

I've had the two pneumonia shots, and the old and the new (double) shingles shots in the past few years. The first, original shingles shot didn't hurt, the first pneumonia shot (23 strains) didn't hurt, but the second shot of the new shingles shot pair, and the second pneumonia shot (13 strains), both caused pretty nasty reactions.

Knew I'd die if I didn't go. No one talks about the pain, physical pain.
