In case you want to talk about the Super Bowl and its commercials...

... this post is for you.

ADDED: I'm watching. My normal practice is to mute commercials, but we've been keeping the sound on because the commercials are a big deal. Maybe it's because I'm not used to hearing commercials at all, but, man, these commercials are noisy. Thumping music and the kind of exaggerated sound effects that have ruined movies over the past 20 years. Also, the game seems to exemplify the most boring things about football — flags, punting, bleh.

Who thinks a Saints Chiefs superbowl would have been as boring? Sad because the Saints were jobbed by the zebras, and Andy Reed has never been able to win the close ones.

The Michael Buble spot was the best one.

Reminds me of the late Roman Empire relying on barbarian soldiers.

Thanks chuck,
Now I understand why Europe calls Americans barbarians.

Also, as bad as the WAPO ad was, who noticed that CBS news ran a similar ad earlier in the game. How desperate have the MSM become that they feel they must broadcast pleas to believe them?

If you had told me that New England would score 13 points, I would have said they would surely lose.

Brady is the best quarterback of all time- 6 wins in 9 trips to the big game- he has left Montana and Bradshaw way behind.

If you watched the entire game, you might be a moron. If you actually enjoyed even one commercial, then, consult your doctors or failing this, consult your personal PDR. That's, that's not good.

I liked when Brady called out “Reagan” as an audible for a run to the right.

I heard that too.
I was hoping the next one would be "Trump!".

Least interesting Super Bowl since Giants and Ravens. And a surprisingly weak lot of commercials.

Belichick nearly blew a gasket when the ref went over and let the Rams’ coach know he was stupid to accept that penalty.

Candie Crowley became an NFL referee?

Narciso with the win. I tip my hat.

Love Trump Jr’s tweets on WaPo ad.

I got to hand it to #11, “the chain mover.” who kept their defense on the field until they finally got worn down.

“Spellbinding defensive performance.” - some announcer. He’s right

#11 Edelman, when asked this morning which Super Bowl win was the best (paraphrasing): "They are like children, you love them all equally ..... except I think my mom liked my sister best."

Funny.

That makes no sense. Why would the offensive unit build a wall?

Good one, Meade.

In regards to using the Oklahoma City bombing as the example of "when America was attacked"...168 people were killed in that blast...a one time event. I wonder how many more Americans have been killed by illegal immigrants since 1995...ongoing events that happen again and again by foreigners.

Good one Meade. Way to phone in and contribute. Lol

Am I the only guy who was deeply offended by the "Handmaids Tale" ad?

I had the same reaction.

Liked that Audi commercial!

(Pepsi sucks.)

Loved the Audi commercial! That and the Hyundai elevator commercial were the best.

Super Bowl? Thanks, no.

Wife beaters who crap on the flag? Along with Corporate America scolding me for things I haven't done? Pass.

The first Super Bowl I watched was VI when the Cowboys beat the Dolphins 24-3. And then - no matter where I was - I managed to watch each and every Super Bowl until three years ago.

Haven't watched a second of an NFL game since the employees decided to use their workplace as a platform for hate. They can rot.
