That was amusing.

Amusing? It was great. Nothing better than beating an undefeated and ranked team at home.
It was great. C'mon Ann! Get on the bus!
Fuck. I forgot it was on.
(sorry to mess you up with blogger, but this really did rate a "Fuck" (oh, I did it again)).
I wonder if BTN will replay it.
Disgraceful "intentional" call against Brazdeikis in the last minute. That was the end of the game, when it was still a 4-pt. game.
Wisconsin, at the Kohl Center, is alwys such dispiriting brand of basketball. Ugly, low-scoring, boring.
Woo Hoo Badgers!
Awww, Chucky's team lost.
There, there, it will be OK.

I don't enjoy basketball, but occasionally something reaches the level where I will watch and find it amusing.
That's high praise from me you should understand.

No, no. It was "such [a] dispiriting brand of basketball. Ugly, low-scoring, boring."
A few years ago opposing fans were rushing the court when they beat US.
I pick the Badgers every year in my pool, because my Grandmothers maiden name was Badger! I won 3 time with them..(no one picked them going as far and they won once!!)

Yeah, I'm not convinced about Greg Gard yet.
I think they said John Beilein is now 5-17 vs Wisconsin. Michigan just never seems comfortable playing Bucky.
This is why I don't bet on sports
And whoo hoo!
Watched it. Go Badgers.
Ann:
You and Meade would find the Michigan St. game amusing. Very athletic and Izzo is a great coach. Spartans beat the Corn this week. Exciting game.

Holding a second-ranked team to 54 points is a great basketball achievement, but to appreciate it you have to care about defense.

The bad-sports have been pissing and moaning since Dick Bennett came to Wisconsin. "No fair! Foul! You, you, you ... stopped us from scoring."
I've never been a big fan of basketball for this reason. Nobody really attempts to play defense. College basketball is OK. Pro basketball is unwatchable. Talk about boring.

Amusing.......???
Am I the only one that can't see the amusing?
That Twitter feed does include the caption......
The great state University of Wisconsin should ever encourage that continual and fearless sifting and winnowing by which alone the truth can be found.
I was driving south of town on Park St at just the wrong time this afternoon, after the game let out. Who scheduled a game at 11 AM on Saturday!
Madison a Badger fans knows this is not unusual but the game was a great example of both teams playing all out; frankly we needed this win after lost home game with Minn.

Ann Althouse - running the emotional gamut all the way from "well huh" to "heh".
Michigan has great water. Especially in the city of Flint. Their former Republican governor Rick Snyder saw to that personally.
But then he got sued for poisoning its predominantly black residents with lead so he did the only respectable thing a Republican could do: Lie and cover-up until he could no longer do so and then break into the state's budget to get them to finance his own personal legal representation.
But Wisconsin is lucky. Its Republicans never poisoned the residents (so far as we know) and only tried to revoke powers to the incoming Democratic governor and AG that they never had any problem extending to its former Republican governor and AG.
Up thread beat me to it. What kind of worthless athletes holds an undefeated team to 54 points? So I didn't see the game, can't attest to it being amusing, but some of the stupid comments here are amusing. I always get the grins when people that don't understand the sport weigh in.
Anyway, congrats to the Meade house.I'm feeling good, also. Iowa State won at home today, and they beat number 8 Texas Tech on the road, earlier this week. The Hawks are on a winning streak and play at noon tomorrow. This is the best part of midwest winters, roundball and almost complete TV coverage.

It's not enough that you dedicate yourself to smearing our president? Now you're smearing the officials for today's game? Disgusting.
Take a hike, Chuck. A long hike on a short pier.

I just watched the replay. There is zero, let me repeat Z.E.R.O. doubt that Brazdeikisi intentionally fouled him. Ethan Happ is a 49% free throw shooter. The ball was thrown to Happe and Brazdeikis tries to foul him but Happe gets rid of the ball first. Not to worry, Brazdeikisi approaches Happe a second time and shoves him anyway. Foul is called.
The Michigan players were clearly under orders to foul Happ. Apparently it didn't matter whether he had the ball or not. If the refs hadn't had the balls to call the intentional foul the ball would have gone back to Michigan, which is why Brazdeikis INTENTIONALLY fouled Happ.
You really don't see that Chuck? Of course you do. You are without honor.
