The Brewers are not descendants of the Boston Braves. The Boston Braves moved to Milwaukee and became the Milwaukee Braves, and then to Atlanta and were, and are today, the Atlanta Braves.

The rest of the Braves staff was pretty good as the article states. My understanding is both Spahn and Sain had performance contracts that made them benefit from additional starts.
