I'm seeing people doing nothing more than trying to virtue signal or score debating points in the charlottesville posts. I'm just tired of it. Althouse has got the gist of it right repeatedly. The "left" such as they are are just pathetic. What is the end game, what do people want? Truth, justice, fairness as the dead woman's mother supposedly said? Well until we define terms to which everyone agrees, not gonna happen. Dial it back for god sakes!
I was doing some shopping today at Wal-Mart and I saw rainbow-colored poo emoji purse. I just had to shake my head, wondering if any woman would actually buy one of those, and exactly what sort of woman would.

Looking at MLB standings, I see that the Brewers' Cinderella story has stalled. Did their coach turn back into a pumpkin?
Still a lot of baseball left. Teams will go on streaks and slumps as players do. The Astros had a rough week like the Brewers. The Angels had a great week. But the Dodgers keep rolling along. The hardest part for teams is the injuries. Trout, Correa, and Harper are among the top five position players in MLB and all have had significant injuries this season, with Harper out for at least a few weeks now.
Brewers pitching staff is smoke and mirrors.

Being a bit koi this evening, were we?
It's quite interesting hearing politicians rush to the podium to say there is "no place in society" for group X. We have learned nothing from history.
Each city should build a crematorium in their central park to remind everyone what it takes to keep it out of operation. When people start speaking about the deplorable people in their communities, they could simply be met with the chant of "Is it time? Is it time to turn on the ovens?"
If that didn't force them to dial back the rhetoric and look for a different way forward, at least we'd be clear about their final solution to the problem.
Kevin- if given a choice between doing something right for society or doing something right for themselves, politicians will choose themselves. Every time.
