"Truck Drives Into Crowd and Department Store in Stockholm."

The NYT reports.
The driver of a small truck steered his vehicle toward a crowd of people and then rammed it into a department store in the heart of Stockholm on Friday afternoon, killing at least two people, the police and local news outlets reported, in what was believed to be a terrorist attack.
And more news about the terrorism-by-vehicle in London last month. The woman we saw in video jumping or falling off the bridge and into the River Thames — Andreea Cristea — has died.

She was 31 years old and an architect, and her boyfriend said he was going to propose to her that day, his birthday.

Do you deny that Christians are ROUTINELY, constantly held to account for the sins of other Christians?

Hell, Christians are held to account for the actions of Christians who've been dead for a millennia. Every single time you tools bring up the Crusades in these arguments - and we hear it constantly - that's what you're doing.

And you're so blinded by your own self hatred that you don't even realize you're doing it, and actually have the unmitigated GALL to ask the question you posed, as if no one ever blames Christians for the acts of other Christians, and that's just such an obviously true statement.

Until leftist scum like you ACTUALLY take a 30 second break from holding every Christian responsible for the act of every other Christian, living or dead for millenia, who ever did anything wrong for any reason, while denying them any credit for anything good they ever did, you can take your self-righteous protestations of outrage about how DARE we hold Muslims responsible for the acts of other Muslims and shove 'em up the most excrutiatingly painful orifice possible. Forever. With a dull fork.

Oh, and everything I just said about how the Left holds every Christian responsible for the act of every Christian?

Replace "Christian" with "white people", and it's every bit as true.

And you have the gall to call anyone else a hypocrite. The hypocrisy of the Left is exceeded only by shamelessness and lack of self awareness.

Most Muslims are peaceful, because they are living in Islamic nations, where Islamic law is supreme and western values are not recognized. They have no problem with killing apostates, or enforcing other religious laws when necessary. Their societies are not like ours. People need to quit pretending that they are. You cannot separate out the religious component from their unique national culture in this, because it is intertwined with all of their society, much as Christianity was back before the Enlightenment.

There are a cohort of Muslims living in the west that fled the barbarism and intolerance of Islamic majority nations, but they are a tiny minority.

The huge influx of Muslims who are fleeing violence, rather than oppressive social rule, as well as the obvious use of this migration by radicals to invade the west undetected, is resulting in what we are seeing here.

These folks have brought their intolerant and violent Islamic religious culture with them and will seek to enforce it where they live.

This isn't immigration; this is invasion.

What's moronic is to blame over a billion Muslims for the crimes of a small fraction of them.

I see some version of this a lot. And it is completely false. Why? Well, let's examine...

There was a terrorist act by a muslim or muslims in Sweden today. Death toll so far- 4. Number of Swedish inmans, responsible for instructing muslims in what islam is in Sweden who have stood up and denounced the attack- ZERO. Number of inmans or other muslim religious leaders in the United States, home ot an estimated 3.3 million muslims, who have stood up to denounce today's terrorist attacks- ZERO. Number of muslim religious leaders worldwide who have stood up in public to denounce today's terrorist attacks- ZERO. I just checked CAIR's facebook opage and these are the last post today: The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR), the nation’s largest Muslim civil rights and advocacy organization, today condemned an allegedly pro-Trump anti-immigrant arson attack on a North Carolina store that included a note warning of plans to “torture” immigrants and was signed “White America” and claiming that President Trump "is our nation builder for whites."... Hoax is written all over that, it fits the hoax template. Previous post: Group calls for hate crime investigation of Muslim prayer space vandalism at Marquette University. Also meets the hoax template. Mentions today on their Facebook page condemning the attack in Sweden: ZERO. Your perfectly welcome to go their website at cair.com and look for their denunciations of islamic violence and islamic terrorist attacks. there aren't any. And CAIR is the public face of islam in the United States. Number of muslims who are not religious leaders who have stood up in public in the united states and denounced terrorist attacks in the name of islam: ZERO. Number of times muslim religious leaders in the United States, CAIR, and ordinary muslims sought out by the MSM after a terrorist who have been quoted warning about islamophobia: too numerous to count.

So you have 1.6 billion muslims in the world, 3.3 million in the United States, the majority of whom, according to politicians and muslim apologists are peaceful, because Islam is the Religion of Peace™, but yet there is no Islamic group anywhere dedicated to stopping and preaching against random or organized jihad attacks. Not one. Anywhere. In the world. Out of 1.6 billion muslims. Supposedly most of whom do not support Islamic terrorism against non-muslims.

http://www.catholicnews.com/services/englishnews/2017/trumps-action-banning-refugees-brings-outcry-from-us-church-leaders.cfm

"Church leaders used phrases such as "devastating," "chaotic" and "cruel" to describe the Jan. 27 action that left already-approved refugees and immigrants stranded at U.S. airports and led the Department of Homeland Security to rule that green card holders -- lawful permanent U.S. residents -- be allowed into the country.

The leadership of the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops late Jan. 30 praised fellow prelates for "their witness" in speaking out against Trump's actions and "in defense of God's people," and called on "all the Catholic faithful to join us as we unite our voices with all who speak in defense of human dignity.

"The bond between Christians and Muslims is founded on the unbreakable strength of charity and justice," said Cardinal Daniel N. DiNardo of Galveston-Houston, USCCB president, and Archbishop Jose H. Gomez of Los Angeles, USCCB vice president, in a joint statement.

"The church will not waiver in her defense of our sisters and brothers of all faiths who suffer at the hands of merciless persecutors," they said.

"The refugees fleeing from ISIS (Islamic State) and other extremists are sacrificing all they have in the name of peace and freedom," they said. "Often, they could be spared if only they surrendered to the violent vision of their tormentors. They stand firm in their faith."
Like all families, refugees "are seeking safety and security for their children," they said. The U.S. "should welcome them as allies in a common fight against evil" and also "must screen vigilantly for infiltrators who would do us harm." But the country "must always be equally vigilant in our welcome of friends," the prelates said.

"Our desire is not to enter the political arena, but rather to proclaim Christ alive in the world today. In the very moment a family abandons their home under threat of death, Jesus is present," Cardinal DiNardo and Archbishop Gomez said."

As Americans and people of faith, we are compelled to welcome the stranger, to help those in need, and to protect the most vulnerable. Refugees are fleeing the terror we have seen unfolding around the world. At a time when nearly 65 million individuals are displaced globally, we cannot close our doors to those in need.

Let us join together in urging members of Congress, the White House, and the American people to declare their support for refugees. I urge you to continue raising awareness about this important matter when reminding President Trump and your members of Congress that there is no such thing as an appropriate time to halt the United States’ commitment to protecting the most vulnerable among us.

"“Going forward, I do have hope in the American immigrant story… the one we all have, and the one that welcomed my father and our family. But my full hope rests in the Gospel of Jesus Christ.”

The Rev. Ginger Gaines-Cirelli, pastor of Foundry United Methodist Church, located just blocks from the White House, said Trump’s actions call out for a response from people of faith.

“If we believe Christian lives are worth more than non-Christian lives, we need to examine our claim to be Christian,” she said in a statement on “Building Walls” that was read during both Sunday morning worship services.

The statement uses Scripture from Luke 22:27, “Jesus came among us not as someone who pushed his way to the front of the line, but as one who serves.”

After church, United Methodists were among 2,000 who rallied at Thurgood Marshall Baltimore Washington International Airport. At least five United Methodist clergy attended, including the Rev. Jackson Day, a retired member of the Baltimore-Washington Conference."

According to the BBC 52% OF Syrian refugees arriving in the United States are male. Syria is their country, it's their war, why aren't they staying there and fighting? We're bringing in cowards.

All male refugees over the age of 16 from war torn countries ought be assembled into training companies, go through boot camp and basic infantry training, leaders selected based on the leadership they displayed in training, then sent back as a unit, armed, from whence they came. Let them pick a side, but military age males from a war torn country ought be fighting on one side or the other, or in the case of Syria, one of the 4 or 5 sides. Once they've come out on top, they can send back for their wives and children. And if they die, well, not our problem.

You are hopeless.

The opposition "rebels" we armed under obambi in 2013 are also extremist in their beliefs and many themselves had direct ties to Al Qaeda.

The Free Syrian Army "only" wanted to completely subjugate Christians and Alawites, the rest of the "Moderate" opposition that we armed actually wants to kill the Christians and Alawites.

But go ahead and believe that there actually is some critical mass of "good guys" to support in Syria. I'm sure Tehran will appreciate all the new shiny weapons they will get their hands on to be repurposed against US interests in Iraq and elsewhere. A task made much much more simple due to all that sweet cash that obambi gave to the mad Mullahs who execute gays.

Thanks for playing.

And of course McCain is always ready to say "bring it on" to a potential direct Russia confrontation.

I do want to talk about brutality.

1. MOST muslim women in the world have their clitoris's cut of by female family members.

2. MOST muslim women in the world are effectively slaves. That are bought, sold, and owned by their "husbands" and there are rules for how MOST muslim men beat their wives.

3. MOST muslims in the world live in areas where they have participated as a society in the killing of gay people.

4. MOST muslims in the world live in areas where the people as a society have participated in the killing of apostates.

5. MOST muslims in the world live in areas where the people as a society have participated in the genocide, extermination, and displacement of Jews, Christians, Gay people, Yazidi's or other minorities.

6. MOST countries/regions dominated by muslims have driven out or killed at least one of their minority populations.

Saudi Arabia, Iran, Iraq, Egypt, Syria, Sudan, Nigeria, Somalia, Pakistan and more are countries where the entire Umma, i.e. almost all of the muslims living there, have participated in the genocide and removal of at least one minority. The majority of muslims were dancing in the streets in "palestine" on 9/11. That is most of the 1.6 billion muslims.

The left doesn't give a shit about true oppression of women. They know who the enemy is and it just happens to be the people that protect their freedoms for them. This country is heading towards civil war because deranged people like Inga ignore the reality of the world. They hold the practitioners of sharia law above their own fellow citizens.

http://www.who.int/mediacentre/factsheets/fs241/en/

FGM is recognized internationally as a violation of the human rights of girls and women. It reflects deep-rooted inequality between the sexes, and constitutes an extreme form of discrimination against women. It is nearly always carried out on minors and is a violation of the rights of children. The practice also violates a person's rights to health, security and physical integrity, the right to be free from torture and cruel, inhuman or degrading treatment, and the right to life when the procedure results in death.

Cultural and social factors for performing FGM

The reasons why female genital mutilations are performed vary from one region to another as well as over time, and include a mix of sociocultural factors within families and communities. The most commonly cited reasons are:

Where FGM is a social convention (social norm), the social pressure to conform to what others do and have been doing, as well as the need to be accepted socially and the fear of being rejected by the community, are strong motivations to perpetuate the practice. In some communities, FGM is almost universally performed and unquestioned.

FGM is often considered a necessary part of raising a girl, and a way to prepare her for adulthood and marriage.

FGM is often motivated by beliefs about what is considered acceptable sexual behaviour. It aims to ensure premarital virginity and marital fidelity. FGM is in many communities believed to reduce a woman's libido and therefore believed to help her resist extramarital sexual acts. When a vaginal opening is covered or narrowed (type 3), the fear of the pain of opening it, and the fear that this will be found out, is expected to further discourage extramarital sexual intercourse among women with this type of FGM.

Where it is believed that being cut increases marriageability, FGM is more likely to be carried out.

FGM is associated with cultural ideals of femininity and modesty, which include the notion that girls are clean and beautiful after removal of body parts that are considered unclean, unfeminine or male.

Though no religious scripts prescribe the practice, practitioners often believe the practice has religious support.

Religious leaders take varying positions with regard to FGM: some promote it, some consider it irrelevant to religion, and others contribute to its elimination.

Local structures of power and authority, such as community leaders, religious leaders, circumcisers, and even some medical personnel can contribute to upholding the practice.

In most societies, where FGM is practised, it is considered a cultural tradition, which is often used as an argument for its continuation.
In some societies, recent adoption of the practice is linked to copying the traditions of neighbouring groups. Sometimes it has started as part of a wider religious or traditional revival movement.

"The Jewish and Christian view on female genital mutilation
I. El-Damanhoury
Show more
Abstract
Female genital mutilation (FGM) is a practice involving the removal of all or parts of the female external genitalia. It has been documented in 28 African countries and in some countries in Asia and the Middle East, but due to increasing immigration from these countries to the western world, FGM has become a worldwide human rights and health issue. Contrary to the belief that it is a practice carried out by Muslims only, it is also practiced by Christians and a minority group of Ethiopian Jews. However, FGM is neither mentioned in the Torah, nor in the Gospels, and – like in Islam – bodily mutilation is condemned by both religions. In fact, FGM is a mix of mainly cultural and social factors which may put tremendous pressure on the members of the society in question."

These opinions are expressed by male Islamic elders while opposing arguments are presented by women who decry this practice."

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Religious_views_on_female_genital_mutilation

"Similarly, Al-Azhar - one of the most respected universities of the Islamic World in Cairo - has issued a number of fatwas on female circumcision over its history.[23] On June 23, 1951, a fatwa[56] from Al-Azhar declared that it does not recognise the abandonment of female circumcision as an option, and that female circumcision is advisable because it curbs "nature". Moreover, this fatwa declared doctors' opinions on the disadvantages of female circumcision as irrelevant. On January 29, 1981, another fatwa[23] from Al-Azhar was authored and proclaimed by the Grand Sheikh of Al-Azhar. The fatwa insisted that it is impossible to abandon the lessons of Mohammed in favor of the teaching of others, such as doctors, because the science of medicine evolves. The fatwa then recommended to the Islamic community that female circumcision is a duty, and the responsibility of female circumcision lies with the guardian of the girl. In October 1994,[57][58] the mufti of Egypt publicly declared that hadiths on female circumcision attributed to the Prophet were unreliable; however, within days of this announcement, Shaykh Gad al-Haq Ali of al-Azhar issued a fatwa that female circumcision is a part of the legal body of Islam and is a laudable practice that honors women. Egyptian government, in 1996, banned female circumcision in hospitals and prohibited licensed professionals from performing FGM. However, in 1997, Shaykh Nasr Farid Wasil, Grand Mufti of Egypt, issued a fatwa that female circumcision should be permitted even though it is not obligatory under Islam. Soon after, Egypt's court overturned the government ban on female circumcision in hospitals and by licensed professionals.[58]"

Right. We're supposed to believe this shit too. Sorry Inga, you've lied so much I don't believe anything you say is true. Nobody does.

Now go cry on your daughters' shoulders. And by daughters, I mean "cats."

"Although FGM is carried out in some countries where there is a large Muslim population this does not indicate a connection with Islam. Speaking at the 8th International Metropolis Conference held in Vienna on September 2003, Dr Ashenafi Moges spoke about ‘FGM – Myths and Justifications’. Dr Moges said, “One of the biggest misconceptions about FGM is that it is sanctioned by religion, be it Christianity or Islam. There is no possible connection between FGM and religion as it predates both of them… the practice seems to be extensive among the Muslim population in the FGM practicing countries and as such has acquired a religious dimension. However not all Muslims practice FGM… it is also practiced by the Christians… FGM is neither Islamic nor Christian.”[2]

There are no instructions in the Holy Qur’an or in the traditions of the Holy Prophet Muhammadsa that support this barbaric and demoralising act. In reality, FGM is a physically and psychologically scarring act, a violation of human rights, and is recognized as a crime, in most parts of the developed world.

According to an estimate by the WHO, “between 100 and 140 million women and girls in the world have undergone some form of FGM. Although overall figures are difficult to estimate, they do indicate the massive scale of this human rights abuse. FGM affects far more women than previously thought.”[3]

FGM is predominantly practised in Egypt, Ethiopia, Kenya, Nigeria, Somalia, and Sudan, but has traditions in other countries and faiths as well. Largely due to emigration, it is now being practiced illegally in areas of Asia, Europe, and the United States.

Cultural Origins of FGM

Since ancient Egyptian times, the torturous practice of FGM has been carried out and continues till this day in the Middle East, parts of Africa, Indonesia, and across various ethnic and religious groups. It is not entirely known when or where this practice began but “there are documentary indications, however that existed. Sanderson cites in a statement from Herodotus that Egyptians, Phoenicians, Hittites, and Ethiopians practiced female excision five hundred years before the birth of Christ. She also notes that Aramaics have described excision in Egypt in the Second Century B.C. A Greek papyrus in the British Museum dated 163 B.C. refers to the circumcision of girls at the age when they received their dowries in Egypt at Memphis.”[5] This historical evidence clearly shows that the Pharaonic practice of FGM predates Islam."

Professor Ellen Grurenbaum describes how FGM may have become linked with Islam:

"“In the Nile valley, it appears certain that the practices predated and survived the spread of Christianity to the ruling groups of Nile Valley Kingdoms in Sudan in the Sixth Century C.E. waves of Arab migration came later, initially nomadic groups who began to intermarry with the indigenous Nile Valley people. Later, Arab identity was strengthened when Islamic teachers and Sufis successfully spread the new religion in northern Sudan, where it became the dominant religion by about 1500 C.E. … In Sudan, pharaonic circumcision along with other pre-Islamic or non-Islamic beliefs and practices was successfully syncretized into the Sudanese Islamic belief system.”[6]

This demonstrates how the ancient cultural practice of FGM continued from generation to generation long before the revelation of Islam. But with the emergence of Islam the Holy Prophet Muhammadsa brought to light the Islamic teachings related to the rights and kind treatment of women in Islam, a companion of the Holy Prophetsa “Abu Shuraih Khuwailad ibn Amr Khuzai relates that the Holy Prophetsa said: Allah, I declare sinful any failure to safeguard the rights of two weak ones: orphans and women. (Nisai)”[7]"

A truly peaceful Muslim here and there does not vindicate Islamic ideology or the overall Islamist movement.

"Nazism is a criminal ideology, but many Nazis are great people"... said no one EVER. "Moderate" Nazis such as Schindler do not vindicate Nazi ideology.

Anyone who self-identifies with a criminal ideology should be considered sketchy at best. Would you hire a NAMBLA activist to baby-sit your little boy? Would it be simple hatred and bigotry to turn down that application? Sure, not everyone in NAMBLA is a child molester, but so what? Each and every Nazi did not throw babies into ovens, either.

Is Islam a criminal ideology?

Inga claims to have been a nurse, but she can't have been an ER nurse or she would have more sympathy for the victims of terrorist attacks. One of the pressure cooker bombs set by the Tsarnaev brothers was deliberately placed near a group of young children, but, you know, those were American children so it's not as though she would care about them.

Stop the personal back-and-forth.

Get back to the substance and say what you have to say ON THE SUBJECT without taking personal shots at other people.

There is a game being played here by someone who makes personal attacks and then responds every time her target reacts in defense. That's trollish and worse it's completely boring.

I've deleted a bunch of comments and the person who is driving this dynamic needs to get the message that her game is rejected as an approach to commenting here. It's spamming up the comments section and making them unreadable.

I'm going to be more aggressive nipping this kind of crap in the bud. It ruins conversations.

I took out every comment that contained the phrase "bad mommy." No more shit like that.

… why you are against allowing Syrian refugee children onto this country?

Because the parents are part of the package.

It is a sad fact that there are countless numbers of refugee children around the world. The world is full of an immense amount of suffering. The children of Venezuela are suffering. The continent of Africa from top to bottom is torn by war, starvation and despotism no doubt causing unimaginable suffering to millions of children. Those that are in a situation that allows their families to flee, do so. Those that cannot must stay and suffer the consequences. All this is sad beyond imagining.

But I must do what’s best for MY children. Allowing into my country, the freest that has ever existed, a number of folks whose values, habits, culture and institutions are nothing less than hostile to freedom and which have made their own societies into textbook examples of every kind of suppression known to mankind – is not my idea of a rational policy.

With their parents they bring pervasive misogyny, hatred and brutal execution of gays, sexual mutilation, honor killings, terrorism, anti-Semitism, intolerance of all other religions – all this mostly dictated in their homelands by either outright theocracies or tribal despots usually allied with either the Shia or Sunni sects – all this they bring with their parents.

Of all cultures those dominated by Islam are the least amenable to assimilation and acculturation. This of course is unsurprising considering the stranglehold that Islam has on all aspects an adherent’s life. It is worth your life in many Islamic societies merely to leave Islam. Disrespect Islam in these societies you are truly fucked.

Inga is always a reliable source of Lefty trends. I’m not surprised that Inga(and the Left in general) has allied itself with Islam. They are natural allies. Political correctness, as practiced by the Left, is the Western Progressive world’s milder version of sharia.

Political correctness is rife in the entertainment industry, the MSM, the Democrats, the so-called intelligentsia, academia – all Left-dominated sectors of society.

Entire concepts, ideas and facts are either suppressed, deliberately ignored, unduly ridiculed or distorted beyond comprehension by the Left.

Reasonable civic concerns over Islamic immigration, both legal and illegal, is morphed by the narrative police into examples of racial and/or religious bigotry. Europe’s current Islamic terrorism troubles are the direct result of unbridled Islamic immigration but we are supposed to ignore the obvious.

"Alawites are sent to the Shia dugout."

Fair enough; but the question then becomes: how do the large majority of "mainstream" Shiites treat the Alawites once they are there?
