I'll tell you this, I've been worried as hell about this election, but I think that the tell for me, when I really started to believe, was - get this - Arby's started advertising venison sandwiches. In the very midwest/rust belt/deer hunting states that Trump is now about to devour like a venison burger.
Clinton may hang onto PA, I just looked at what is left, and it has historically voted for Republicans, and the remaining pro-Clinton precincts are not likely to give her the predicted edge just based on how the rest of state has gone tonight, so Trump has about a 50% chance to close the gap he faces right now.
As for Michigan, I think Trump is going to win the state. Again, Clinton badly underperformed in Wayne County compared to Obama- badly.
Hillary is a fuckup. Full stop. Never should have been the nominee with her record.

This is not necessarily a bad outcome for the Democrat party. Now they can clean house and refocus the party on the economic issues of working and middle classes. If they had been stuck with the Clinton's they could have been decimated as a party going forward. Now they have an opportunity to remake the party. Well, that's the same challenge facing the GOP. Some party somewhere (or a new one; it could come to that) is going to have to get its head straight and start thinking about the interests of the country as a whole. The identity politics only works when there are not these large overarching problems affecting masses of people.
If Trump wins this election, he will have won it because he went out and talked to people and convinced them that he at least cared about their troubles. A whitelash against a black president? Poor Hillary getting jammed up by all the racial hatred for Obama. Nobody's mentioned what a kick in the gut this is for him.
Not that, to be honest, I want Trump to win. But it is nice to see the trolls suddenly become reasonable.
Pennsylvania should be called soon. Trump is ahead by 35,000, and most of the uncounted precincts are in counties he is stomping through. It is over.

I've always said that's not enough for her. In addition to the stake, you need to remove her head, fill her mouth with salt and sew her lips shut. Then we'll be safe. Maybe.
