"A California middle school teacher was recorded telling minority students their parents would be deported, leaving them to be placed in foster care..."

At Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School in South Los Angeles.

"If you were born here, then your parents gotta go, and they gonna leave you behind. You’ll be in foster care,” said the male phys ed teacher to 6th graders.
“How are they going to find me?” a student asks.

“I got your phone numbers, your address, your mama’s address, your daddy’s address. It’s all in the system, sweetie. And when they come and there’s an illegal, they gotta go,” the teacher responds.
ADDED: I was curious about Bret Harte Preparatory Middle School. I checked the website and found this in its "mission statement":
Every student and adult on campus has the right to learn and work in an environment that is sage free of harmful and disruptive influences.  No person will be allowed to deprive another person of an opportunity to learn.
Sage free?? Is that like "Stone Free"...

Wouldn't the parents take their kids? And Mexico isn't that bad. Millions of people live in Mexico now. Not like Mexico is Syria or Venezuela.

They must have meant "an environment that is safe, free of harmful and disruptive influences."

Which is still wrong, even after fixing the spelling and adding a comma.

Should be "safe and free of harmful and disruptive influences."

Parents harass school staff and are absolutely the worst. If I were a teacher and could deport at least some of those pests I would be ecstatic too. Too bad it's impossible to deport citizen ones.

Kinda doubt this was a Trump supporting substitute teacher. More like a Moby stunt, like the Badger Halloweiners with their noose. Be interesting to see the identity of the defendant.

Maybe "cage-free with harmful and disruptive influences". MS students should know what it's like to live like a chicken on an organic farm.

Nothing new here about liberal teachers trying to scare the children and bring politics into the classroom.

Back when it was Bush/Gore the elementary school teachers at our school were telling the 3rd grade children that Bush would literally steal their school supplies and that their school lunches would be cut. Ha....that didn't happen until Michelle Obama....but I digress.

There is absolutely no excuse for dragging little children into your fevered swamp of paranoid liberal fantasies. Or conservative ones either.

Hey....teacher....leave those kids alone!!!!

Ignorance is Bliss said...

Horrible that the teacher would say that to the kids.

Doesn't he know that we need the element of surprise when rounding up their parents?

Ignorance is Bliss said...

And for those who listened to the tape, was anyone else horrified by his speaking ability? This is how a teacher speaks? That explains so much.

Yeah my skepticism meter went on high when I saw "Trump supporting teacher". Is that not an example of an oxymoron?

Actually, that is just in the headline - nothing in the article or the excerpt of the recording (that I have looked at) indicates that this was a Trump supporter. Wonder what the rest of the recording would reveal?

But, I am sure this is going to be popping up in Facebook feeds all over the nation as the FB "share monkeys" start posting things that they never take the time to read.

JAORE said...

Trump supporter or Clinton supporter that man is sick. Fired? Hell yes. Never allowed in a classroom again, hell yes.

I suppose the next time a teacher gets arrested for sexual assault on a student, all he/she has to say is that they were going for the pussy because Trump said it is OK.

Scott Adams is right. The Left is suffering from system overload. Their minds just can't process that not only Trump has been elected with over 300 electoral votes, but he actually had "coattails" so there is 31 Republican governors and about that many state legislatures and etc. and so on "downticket."

Dust Bunny Queen said...

Seriously. Keep the kids out of politics. It is tough enough to be a kid without dumping a load of adult horsehockey on their heads.

I saw an angry Hillary supporter telling a woman she would be deported and she is a second generation citizen.

The left is trying to stimulate anger and will probably keep doing it.

I don;t understand Soros' motives but he still seems to be funding some of this.

Some of the Portland demonstrators figured out that professional anarchists were using them and resisted.

California teachers are mostly leftists although not all. The union is hard left.

I would love to be able to send my grandchildren to private school, as I did my children, but the private schools have gotten fantastically expensive. I was talking to a friend last week end whose grandkids were going to Polytechnic School in Pasadena. That's an old and very well established private school. One kid is in kindergarten which costs $37,000 per year. That is crazy.

Fortunately, my grandkids are in a charter school and that is much better. The oldest is in Jr High.

Pity we can't read minds. How many of these folks protested, or would have protested the return of Elián González at the point of the murderous Janet Reno's guns. How will Trump Ju-jitsu this challenge as he does similar idiocy? i.e. take the strongest advocates of this position and expose them to at least some of the costs, money and especially personal. Perhaps any citizen may take in an "illegal" or their children dropped across the border, and support them in their home. Splitting the costs of doing this with garnishment of half their wages, perhaps even a tax deduction for half these costs. Just in the interest of speeding embedding them in American society, and keeping the vipers from attempting to make the country something it is not. Arguably a much more merciful approach than Mexico takes with any of its invaders from their south, when they've been found to the north, even after setting up full cities. Would also address the issues around sanctuary cities. Adopt of send them back to Mexico where they will change their own government to make Mexico a heaven on earth as some think will do to the U.S. by moving here. Will be great to see the left saying, well I didn’t mean it, don’t tax me, tax you behind that tree. Good Theater.

Soros made his money with big short positions on currencies he promptly manipulated into crashes. He makes his money off of market chaos. When then government is controlling the market the swings are larger and easier to control.

He also sold Jews to the nazis during WWII. Of course he supports progressives.

On tv this morning they interviewed two young children at one of the anti-Trump demonstrations. They were both white and well dressed. One kid said that he was against Trump because Trump was going to round up all his Mexican friends. In the background, his sister nodded enthusiastically. Then she chimed in and said that Trump was going to bring back segregation. Both kids were under ten years old. They were articulate and looked like nice kids. The reporter didn't challenge any of their statements. The mother was obviously very proud of her children. The reporter, I sensed, shared her pride.

This isn't news. It happens every year. I've posted my own California Teacher Association horror stories here repeatedly over the years. But EVERY year they tell minority students the DNC lies. I've posted about my personal experience with this lawless, immoral activity in the 1992 election. The CTA union thugs using school fax network to send Spanish language scare letters home warning GHW Bush would deport them the day after the election. Leftists never change, because there's always a new crop of illegal immigrants to scare.

Liars gotta lie.

Much talk on TV about Trump "evolving" on his Wall. Enough scare talk by leftists and the wall may not be necessary.

I think the Wall was always rhetoric. Some areas need a wall but E-Verify and enforcement of existing law, plus defunding sanctuary cities, should do most of the trick.

Our 'educational' system resembles that of the Chinese Cultural Revolution. I'm sure the Chinese educators truly believed in what they were teaching because of the very insular nature of China at that time. There was no one to call bullshit on them.

I used to own a couple of hair salons. One of my part-time stylists was going to school to become a history teacher. She said it was because she wanted a job with tenure. Knowing what kind of employee she was, I could understand why.

She had flunked out of two other majors before landing on education. One day she came in and told me she had been watching the History Channel and was surprised to learn that Great Britain was an ally of the U.S. in World War II. It took her seven tries to pass her proficiency test to teach history.

Today she is teaching high school in New Jersey.

These are the people who are teaching our children.

Second and third-world nations, and progressive war zones, desperately need an intervention to address the causes of mass emigration and refugee crises, respectively. America and other Western nations desperately need to abandon class diversity (i.e. "skin color") and other Pro-Choice doctrines, especially when they provide cover for mass emigration and progressive wars, and liberal excess.

I suggest listening to the actual recording, even though it has been edited and the original is nowhere to be found.

The teacher was supposedly having trouble maintaining order in hs 6th grade gym class, so he threatened the kids as we can hear. The teacher sounds black to me, and if this be true, I seriously doubt he's a Trump supporter even though he very well is probably biased against Mexican immigrants.

This of course will fly in the face of left-wing beliefs that the only racism possible comes from white people.

BFD.

It's Trump who said he'd do exactly that.

Is he a man of his word, or not?

Takes some serious derangement to propose that unprecedented rhetoric of this nature by the winner can't be taken seriously.

Hand off your decoder ring and kindly let us know which of his other many statements don't mean anything. Other than to give people deranged about immigrants something to gush over.

California should be glad to be relieved of the financial burden the presence of 2.4 million illegal immigrants imposes. And the anchor babies need to go with their parents. As Trump said, the families can come back legally. Or not.

Why, oh, why can we not admit that people who came into our country illegally are CRIMINALS. I know legal immigrants from other parts of the globe who patiently waited to come her legally. @ Mockturtle -

It's a public school, LA County Unified School District I think. Where I am, parents can vote to have the school mandate uniforms, which proves less expensive than trying to accommodate dressing kids in the latest school age fashions. So, at least in my experience, the inner city, less prosperous schools often require all students to wear uniforms (grade schools only. I guess the high school kids wouldn't put up with uniforms).

No Democrat would ever agree to losing a voting block of millions, which also represents hundreds of millions or even billions in Federal funding to the state.

I see no way to remove citizen-children with illegal parents. The law as it exists - anchor children - just makes the presence of parents permanent I think, no matter what anyone wants. Illegal aliens with no citizen children? Sure, out they go. Anyone convicted of enumerated crimes, children or not? Yep. But the kids who are born here have the right to remain, which pretty much forecloses removing the parents. We let this situation develop via poor border controls and not amending the 14th Amendment. Now we're stuck with the results, as I think we should be.

I doubt any immigration deal would include deporting illegals with legal children, no matter what anyone claimed during the campaigns.

mockturtle said...

But the kids who are born here have the right to remain, which pretty much forecloses removing the parents.

If they are minor children, they should still be in the custody of their parents. If their parents are here illegally, they all have to go. You're right, though. It's not likely to happen.
