Sure, some anti-Trumpers are "crazy." Yes, it would be nice if everyone followed the schmuck's advice. But progs aren't crazy, they don't relax, and they just keep at it, trying to destroy the system, undermine American values, and achieve power for themselves. One silver lining in the election is that for the next few years, they will be stymied, at least on the national level. Here's hoping their "craziness" will backfire.
Ha Ha, the media is selling eyeballs (i think is what he said). There will be more riots and all kinds of protests. The Media will act like that is going to change something.
Guess what that will do. That will make the Republican Congress (remember them) react like the Democrat congress did when Obama won the first time.
Laws trump clicks.
Congress will not be cowed by them because ipso facto they were elected and need to continue to be elected by the antithesis of the protesters.
What if the congress decides to shove nationwide concealed carry down their throats. Or delete the filibuster and pack the supreme court.
Throat shoving is not a good policy, but if the protests continue, it will be too irresistible for Congress to pass up.
Okay, I'm throwing out a wild guess here -- judging from this guy's accent & looks, I'm guessing that he's from Byelorusse. Notice that he always says he's from "the Soviet Union", & never states that he's from "Soviet Russia", or Russia, or the Ukraine, so I'm guessing that he sticks with that explanation because trying to explain "White Russian" to Americans is just too complicated.
What's crazy is thinking that people with no tradition of individual freedom have something positive to teach Americans of what to make of their election of a guy who thinks it should be illegal to insult him.
You really aren't the fan of the 1st amendment that you say you are, are you?
But progs aren't crazy, they don't relax, and they just keep at it, trying to destroy the system, undermine American values, and achieve power for themselves.
Which is exactly what allowed 1776 to work. The third of the population that wasn't complacent enough to just go along with tyranny - of the same sort that your "Change the Libel Laws!" king wants to reimpose.
Atta boy, R&B. Bring on that revolution talk. Too bad Prince is gone. He might write you a song like "Party like it's 1776".
Dump that tea. Rally the pajama boys. Start polishing that gun - oh, first go buy that gun. Watch a few Tarantino movies to sharpen your combat skills. Buy some camo. Take the physical high ground (hint, it's far away from the moral high ground you are convinced you occupy).
"What's crazy is thinking that people with no tradition of individual freedom have something positive to teach Americans of what to make of their election of a guy who thinks it should be illegal to insult him."
Muslims. Mexican peasants. Citizens United.
I've realized over the last few liberal arguments can be refuted, or have their hypocrisy laid bare, with two words or less.
Will be great fun when Mr. T. sets up a citizen’s press, even re-vitalize the Junior Chamber of Commerce as a farm club for a press free of propaganda and fact checking, and growing business that favor Capitalism, the horror, the horror. Given today’s social networks and the smallest bit of money redirected from common core thru the schools both junior and high for these journalists in the making, even with contests and awards, and college scholarships for not only the clearest writing but covering all sides of the issues with an equal number of words and interview questions. Extra credit for destroying one bit of PC and SJW enslavement a week. Call it a 4H for create great citizens who value their freedom, from right to drugs to guns. And while at it insure they have equal presence on the social network by buying advertising for PSAs and the like on these old and new networks. use the Scott Ott approach of creating an overwhelming feedback loop of Cognitive dissonance who are yet to be true believers in Alinsky or Lenin by documenting in great detail how many lives were lost and enslaved in the interest of perfecting mankind. Especially boys trying to get to second base without being slapped. All in good fun of course.
The deplorables lost the popular vote. And would have lost it by an even more laughable margin if the DNC hadn't ceded the populist, Democrat, working-class vote to King Color Orange. Never forget that. Those voters are not your voters and they will not stay your voters for long. They know how much your party hates them.
Blogger Rhythm and Balls said...What's crazy is thinking that people with no tradition of individual freedom have something positive to teach Americans of what to make of their election of a guy who thinks it should be illegal to insult him.
Right, because that's the choice America was facing--some thin-skinned guy vs. a champion of the first amendment. And America prefers whiners.
R&B, two things--The result of a contest for the electoral vote tells you little about what would have happened in a contest for the popular vote. If the election was about the popular vote, both candidates and millions of people would have changed their behaviour. Your "observation" merely reveals your ignorance. Second, the white working class you fault the Democrats for not chasing ARE the deplorables you mock.
Second, the white working class you fault the Democrats for not chasing ARE the deplorables you mock.
Bullshit. These people voted on economic and class-based issues. They would have voted for Sanders. Their primary issue wasn't the bigotry and xenophobia and misogyny that King Orange whipped up. He already had the support of voters motivated by that stuff, and it never would have been enough to win. It was an entire working-class election. People don't hate on other identity politics groups as long as their economic needs are met.
And BTW, it was HIllary and/or SJWs who mocked your special snowflakes previous bigotry. Not me.
Oh R&B, you can be amusing! My "special snowflakes previous bigotry"? I have no idea what that even means.
You go ahead and revise all you want. You still lost because Hillary ran a bullying campaign built around insulting everyone who didn't already support her. You just keep doing what you're doing and keep losing. I'm ok with that. It hastens the day the Democrats collapse, clearing the field for a real opposition party. You lost because you deserved to. The Democrats are doomed because they deserve to be.
Oh, precious bigotry. I still have no idea what that means. And it doesn't change the fact that the worst thing that could possibly has happened--public has wised up to you.
Did I ever once defend HIllary or the DNC? Of course not. But you would not know that because you assume way too much - it's apparently endemic among your tribe - and can't read. Does that mean I have to get on board with your Orange Savior? Of course not, also. But since you have trouble thinking or observing, you must fight and assume. I'm getting older in life. I realize that you can't help this. Maybe one day you'll get to an age where you know better, if you're not there already. In the meantime, I'll spend my time communicating with intelligent, Western, civilized folk and not a bunch of political hacks and whack jobs who think of everything in terms of Arabian-style blood feuds that require your enemy's enemy to be your friend.
Right. I'm sure it was really hard for you to pick up on a correction that took place a minute after the original post.
Do fuck off. The "public has wised up to" no such thing. King Orange is no more popular than Hillary. His support was broader, but not very deep. And since you reveal yourself to be a partisan hack anyway, you should remind yourself that your party is not on board with him. How are the other Repubicons going to manage without the help of the COC? Or Wall Street? Or the DOD? They won't. This is a win for progressives. They actually have a faction that they can build. Trump doesn't.
Until then, keep being a raging snowflake. That "real opposition party" your slow brain alludes to? It's ME. You're the one without a party. You either follow the cult of Trump or march on with the zombies pulling up his caboose.
That's easy for a white male to say, but please don't make this about you and think about how some minorities and women must feel. Roe was settled 43 years ago but is now in jeopardy, dreamers started families here but are threatened with deportation, and african americans are getting shot for no reason. My technician, who is black, lives in a liberal city, wears an hijab, and takes her six year old to school by bus, got on Wednesday morning to hear a previously friendly rider call her and her daughter the n word and that Trump was sending her back. How do you explain that to a six year old? I'd like to think that no one on this board is that racist or bigoted and I don't think the marmalade hairball president-elect is either, but please be careful about what you say because some of his acolytes are.
RE: Rhythm and Balls "King Orange whipped up" Your name calling and vulgar language elsewhere fits in with Hillary supporters' hate and rioting. Does your momma feel proud? And how about that great Hillary supporter Madonna out giving oral sex to Hillary voters. Did you get in her line. Class all around Hillary.

The gun ad is going to freak people out.

Riots are why we have elections instead. And now elections are why we have riots?
"Wreckballing"? That's incredible! I love it!

He's a natural comedian, and a positive message.
You don't see that (much) anymore. It's like he comes from somewhere else. Oh wait!...
He demonstrates what is best about this nation. Crazy Russian Dad. Immigrant. American. Can't get much better than that.

Enjoy watching him erode your speech rights.
@ Sebastion Given the state election results it looks like the progs are going to be stymied at more than the local level.

Last few years, that is. Many, many liberal arguments.

Best Uber ever. I couldn't stop laughing, plus he gave me water. 5 stars and a big fat tip.
