Most municipalities have leash laws. I'm a bit of a scoff-law. In a park like that, I would not use a leash....because there are bound to be squirrels.
Dogs need to chase squirrels. Squirrels like to live dangerously.
I saw Bridge of Spies with my teenage boy today. If you can believe it, there is a scene with Tom Hanks riding a train through East Berlin, where he watches with horror out the window, while East German Communists gun down folks trying to escape over the Berlin Wall. No spoilers, but it is the rarest of Hollywood movies - the Americans and the CIA are the good guys, while the Soviets are the bad guys.
While most people think of NJ as the smell on the Turnpike around Elizabeth, or the ghettos of Camden, Newark and Paterson, much/most of NJ actually looks just like the above pictures at this time of year. Particularly if you travel out northwest to the Vernon/Hamburg area, or south to the horse (really) area. Even driving the northern NJ Parkway is beautiful at this time of year. You have to remember to look. One good place is on the golf courses LOL.
Hardin, it's another picture of your dog, this one with a blurry tree in the background. I do like your dog pictures. Your dog is beautiful and the photos of the dog are always fun. You can post a photo of the dog any time and it will be liked. No need to pretend it's a tree picture.
I think that now that we have the football inflation issue under control, Tom Brady is going to come back to Earth is the mediocre QB that he is, right?

My norway maple at peak color, unfortunatly on a cloudy day this year.
I brought it home as a six foot potted Kmart garden sale tree on the back of my bicycle in '86.
The red looks like smooth sumac.
A wonderful picture of Meade.
