In Madison, Wisconsin today... a little anti-Kentucky signage.

Get it? (If I'm reading the humor correctly, the reference is to the Wisconsin song/motto "On Wisconsin" and the supposed reputation of Kentuckians for having sex with their cousins.)

Watch the basketball games with us. Comments are on moderation, but I'm sending things through quickly.

Need something to read. Here's "Kentucky Basketball: Is Wisconsin The Underdog?"
So, why the Big Ten bias when only two of both broadcast teams attended Big Ten schools? Who knows? Maybe they are so sick of the SEC winning football titles and also basketball titles? Is it the one-and- done thing? Maybe the fact that the SEC has won 12 football championship and 5 basketball championships while the Big Ten has won 2 football championships and only 1 basketball titles since 1989 as pointed out in this Lost Lettermen article.

Two things you can count on for whatever reason, they will be talking up Connecticut and Wisconsin all throughout the games against Florida and Kentucky until the second half should Florida or Kentucky take control of the game.

"Get off your cousin and on Wisconsin"

Sounds to me like they are saying that Wisconsin is going to get fucked by Kentucky.

Its a stupid sign either way because everyone knows Kentuckians prefer their sisters to their cousins.

I read that sign as saying: sexually dismount your cousin and sexually mount Wisconsin. Changing horses mid-stroke, apparently.

Charles Darwin and his wife were first cousins, as well as Victoria and Albert. One-off cousin marriage is only slightly riskier to the offspring than is the union of unrelated persons. Where it gets dicey, though, is when it is repeated over many generations, where it tends to concentrate negative traits. On the other hand, having sex with people from Wisconsin is very risky, due to the propensity of offspring to exhibit turicephalism, or cheese-headedness.

Professor, I think you're right, but the most obvious interpretation is the one that Bill from Texas came up with.

Are you making an editorial statement, Professor, with that photo of you looking worrisomely at the KY/WI banner?

Very Drudgey of you

Loving the "teamcasts", but I'll tell you my favorite channel at the "BCS championship" football game was the channel where they just had the field mics. No commentary, no bloviation, heck for most of the game they didn't even have a "Fox box" going ...

Sorry but Wisconsin is not exactly cosmo...although Kentucky is horrible.

What does the unibomber have in common with all the girls from Kentucky?

Only caught the last few minutes of the Fla/UConn game. No need to abandon the anti-SEC bias on that one.

I saw that on West Wash.

Looking good for Bucky so far. It's like Kentucky is playing against 1956. Hah.

I watched the 1966 Kentucky, Texas Western championship game while I was still in the Air Force in Charleston,SC when it was the UK team who had the white players. I noticed all five of Wisconsin players on the floor were white.

Also the Rothschilds married first cousins to maintain power within the family and its not just Kentucky but all of the south that is slurred with that charge.

Yeah, its just like 1966, except it isn't. I remember watching a Football game in 1975 with a white QB and black RB, and damn if the same thing didn't happen in 2014!
Its incredible!

That was a great game. The Big Ten does seem snake bitten. But in their defense, the conference has sent 7 different teams to the final four in the last 25 years. Two championships and 7 second place finishes by five different teams during that span. They are the best conference top to bottom but haven't had the best team.

That's okay. We're used to other schools fans feeling entitled. The UNC cheating scandal that doesn't get coverage, and the Duke players walking off with $10 grand diamond necklaces that the NCAA refuses to prosecute is what really infuriates the Big Blue Mist.

Was a super game tonight. Officiating was even(missed calls both ways, can't ask for more than that) and our guy hit our last shot and yours didn't... survive and advance.

Good game, no one got hurt, but I'm still glad Bp lost, he's a douche... does he suck lemons to get that expression on his face?

BTW, great game. The Badgers put up a good show despite their lack of depth and overall team quickness.

I hope KY wins it all, Uconn is awful, a team that wins ugly.

I think I'll have me a little buttermilk with my badger and cornbread sandwich, and then hit the hay. You all can insult Kentucky all you want. It's just envy talkin'. Keep it up and I''ll treat you all to a list of great people from Kentucky, starting with my French 1 teacher's brother, Robert Penn Warren.

It's been a good day. Happy trails, folks. Go Cats!!!

Ohh Professor, you might mention to your students that the kid who missed the free throw...he feels worse about than they do, so don't mouth off to him. I remember at least three shot your guys took that rimmed out after rolling around the rim. One of those goes in, Ya'll dancing, not us.

Again, good game.
