Lake Phalen in St. Paul is supposedly named after a murderer. In settler days Phalen and his partner lived in a nearby cabin. Partner disappears. Years after Phalen's death, human remains are found at the site of the old cabin.

Dead squirrel.

Recently, I've noticed dozens this year as road kill around central Virginia.

Why does the squirrel cross the road?

It looks like what was left of Green Bay QB Rogers after meeting a former Horned Frog QB in the Cincinnati game.
