The weather was perfect for golf this afternoon. God is doing a good job with the climate making it cool enough for us Heart Patients even in Atlanta.

I actually praised the truck for being so faithful by firing right up every time so flawlessly as it does right through the winter. Trees around here are holding back. Or maybe they already tried and were faked out. No wonderful scent as this time last year. And I know some trees can give it another go when if the first all out try at Spring fails. But I also I planted grass seed in a box a week ago and it's been cool all week and cold at night, so I gave the box an electric blanket which I admit seems strange but I want the dirt to be warm. And then today felt like summer and the truck battery is flat dead.

See what I did there? It's like a little bundle.

The Players Golf Tournament today was terrific. I felt so sorry for Sergei Garcia. Two drives in the water on one hole then another one on the next.

I had to quit playing because of back trouble but I still enjoy watching. There was a time when I could make those shots.

I hope "we heartily approved of the outcome." refers to you two falling asleep in each other's arms.

VDH at NRO:

Hillary Clinton’s now infamous second question that followed, “Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they’d go kill some Americans?”: “What difference at this point does it make?” is rightly quoted as a reflection of the callousness toward finding out the truth about the death of four Americans. But the first question in some ways is even worse. By the time Secretary Clinton posed that either/or question in January, she had known for months from both intelligence reports and from the administration and State Department efforts to massage those reports, and from the efforts of diplomat Gregory Hicks and others to set the story straight, that the murders were preplanned assaults by an al-Qaeda affiliate. She knew that the attack was neither a “protest” nor “guys out for a walk” — but was still peddling scenarios that were simply untrue and designed to mislead.

I'd forgotten that first sentence. Wow. Someone in the MSM will pick up on that and run with it, right?

A side by side video rebuttal of Hillarie's testimony and the whistleblowers.

Beautiful pic, Madame. with our little cold and wet snap, that's the only outcome I'd heartily approve right now.

The sequential 12 versions of the CIA Talking Points re. the 11 Sept 2013 attack on the US Consulate in Benghazi, Lybia are available [url = http://abcnews.go.com/images/Politics/Benghazi%20Talking%20Points%20Timeline.pdf] here.

The final version is reduced to four non-informative sencences of blather. "Attacks" have become "demonstrations." In the final edit the word "Consulate" is replaced by the less specific "diplomatic post".

Most astonishing, to me, is the second sentence: "There are indications that extremists participated in the violent demonstrations."

WTF!? If there are "violent demonstrations" one would expect "extremists" of some stripe to be involved. But what kind of "extremists?" Cat fanciers? Vegans, maybe?

So the IRS was bothering groups trying to educate Americans about the Constitution.

Imagine that.

And Susan Collins demonstrates why Republicans are pathetic--she calls on Obama to condemn it.

Situations reversed, Chuck Schumer'd be screaming for an independent counsel.

And getting one.

Pressure cookers should be registered and purchasers subject to FBI background checks!

Lydia cited Hillary's comment ...

“Was it because of a protest or was it because of guys out for a walk one night who decided that they'd go kill some Americans?”

You are the first person I know, face to face or on line, who has noticed the individual significance of that sentence. Thank you.

I like to hear or read a discussion of it. From my point of view it exemplifies the complete lack of qualifications for her job as Secretary of State. I suspect most of us here who are veterans have a very different view of what terrorism is in reality, and a good many non-veterans as well.

Hillary's remark about **out for a walk and decided to kill some Americans** belies a total lack of how terror is organized and carried out. It reeks of blaming Americans for any attacks on them as well. See, well beyond our actions in warfare...no matter how generous we are, or how much we do to assist people to improve their lives, we deserve to die? Check.

And yet this dolt was something like the 4th highest ranking official in our government...and in charge of our international relationships. Wow?

And we actually now have an even worse representative of Americans as Secretary of State.

I was so happy with the Survivor finale. I knew as soon as they only showed one vote total that it was a total blowout. Good thing, too. And next season looks really interesting. I wonder if they'll have family members of former Survivors playing, or if they will actually cast family members (of the same family) on different tribes to play against each other? Can't wait to watch!
