Officers found the couple had a dispute over who Amanda Radle was voting for in today’s recall primary election for governor.Who was for which candidate? And did anyone get to vote? I'll just guess Amanda was for Falk, and Jeffrey was for Barrett. You might think Jeffrey was for Walker, but a vote for Falk will help Walker, as noted here.
As she was trying to leave the residence, Jeffrey Radle stood in front of her vehicle in the dead-end alley. That prevented her from leaving.
Amanda nudged Jeffrey with the vehicle numerous times. Jeffrey would retreat and then reestablish his ground. At one point, he climbed onto the hood.
Finally Amanda Radle attempted to drive around her husband. Jeffrey Radle reportedly jumped in front of the vehicle and was struck.
ADDED: I am totally getting into The Chippewa Herald. I took the survey "What do you do when a tornado siren sounds?" (my answer: "none of the above"), and now I'm reading "Couple losing faith in true government representation." And I'm fascinated by this bright-pink owner of a "Custom Weaponry" shop who's "struggling to keep up with demand."
UPDATE: Apparently, Jeffrey was for Walker, and Amanda was for "one of the women candidates" — presumably, Falk, as I originally guessed. Falk was the crossover preference of Walker supporters. Jeffrey was so wrong in so many ways.

Chippewa Falls! The birthplace of Annie Hall. Neat.
In Florida he would have been justified in killing her.
Wait, I've got a whole lot of questions regarding this story, but this I definitely don't get:
How did she drive the car into her husband when he "reportedly jumped in front of the vehicle"?
Whatever. They're a couple of immature skunks no matter what happened,...
Isn't Chippewa Falls home to Leinenkugel Brewery?
Was beer involved?

Yep!
You can easily find this woman on Facebook. She and her husband look like the nicest people.
I'm guessing she was voting for Kathy Vinehout.
Reminds me of TJ Hooker...
"Vote for Barrett, pleassse"
Good times, good times...
Creamy Darks all around! A toast to a wife on a mission!
If only he had had a red flag.

ROAD TRIP!
How did she drive the car into her husband when he "reportedly jumped in front of the vehicle"?
Well, if the car was moving, it's hard not to drive it into him.
(If he tried to keep her from leaving with such means, is that kidnapping - forcibly preventing her departure?
And if it was to prevent her from voting how she wanted, is that illegal under any of the voter influence laws?)
Lake Wissota State Park. Beautiful park, and close enough to Chippewa to go for a rewery tour when it's raining.
I though Chippewa Falls was Elizabeth Warren's cheesehead cousin.
None of my business, but seeing those two good looking youngsters on FB makes me sort of sad this couple is divorcing. I blame Walker of course.
"If only he had had a red flag."
LOL!

That's easy. Take a trip up there with Meade, push him out of the car, then drive over him.
The Brady "Baghdad Bob" Campaign is of course quoted for its usual statistical lies in the piece about the gun shop. Typical journalistic malpractice.
How old are these dweebs?
If it was Texas, she'd have driven around the block a few times to nail him some more.
They do killin' right down there.
I was expecting a little old Mary Kay lady selling guns. I'm a little disappointed, a Mary Kay lady would be a better story.
Is there a point of law about who is responsible if a person throws himself in front of a moving car? When I watch those repo shows someone is always trying that trick. It would be very tempting to just nudge them a little. You know, just to see how serious they are. But, alas, I probably wouldn't really do it. Too chicken.
If you can kill a guy that's voting the opposite way, that's like getting two votes, so I see her strategy as very sound.....for a Democrat.
Maybe she had a thing for a guy in a (Lincoln) uniform. Anywayzz...yet more difficulty with the whole "unity" thing.
I love Chippewa. Home of Leinenkugel's, Irvin Park, a nice downtown, and a few wackos.
Remember a few years back....a guy walks into a laundrymate. Stips down to his birthday suit, puts his clothes in the washer, and sits reading a newspaper (Chippewa Hearld?) like nothing unusual is occuring. When the police get there, he said he needed to wash all his clothes, including what he was wearing.
From her FB page:
"Does Barack Obama deserve a second term as President?
No"
How does that translate? Falk because O isn't left enough?
Steve Lauer sells some fantastic custom 50cal sniper rifles. Second Amendment in spades.
Jefferson Davis was a frequent visitor to Chippewa Falls during his missing decade between the Blackhawk War and the Mexican War. After his first wife died he resigned his military commission and did black ops in the lumber business. The Wisconsin newspapers called him a surveyor. Wisconsin was still a territory then and not yet a state.
Silly people.
Him for jumping in front of the car.
Her for not realizing you can just keep on creeping the thing rather than stepping on the gas. Inch forward, no serious injuries, and you get to open space.
The story has been updated. He supported Walker, she "'one of the women candidates' — either former Dane County Executive Kathleen Falk or state Sen. Kathleen Vinehout."
So, if the Falk = Walker theory holds up, she was probably voting for Vinehout.
