As an afterthought to yesterday's kerfluffle about the Governor and the Santa Fe hairstylist: In the bottom right column of page C8 of this morning's Journal there is an article about a polling survey that showed 90% of New Mexico Republican approve of Gov. Suasana Martinez and 54% of the Democrats for an overall rating of around 70%.
I preface this by saying I'm not particularly fond of Maggie Gallagher, Rick Santorum or Joe Klein, but I found this on the Corner, and think it's insightful, particularly because it's by someone (Joe Klein) with whom I almost certainly disagree on the abortion debate.

It's a sun with a face painted on it. A gift from many years ago from one of my sons. I've forgotten which son! Sorry, John/Chris.
Oh, the perks of being able to work from home. I miss that.

A close friend lost a baby to Trisomy 18 after one month. It is truly heartbreaking.
A few iterations of taking a picture of the scene and displaying it on the computer screen you then photograph again, would fix it up.
Excuse me, but snow is not to be longed for at this time of year.
(Beautiful walk in to work, however)
Yuk. Better you than me.
and here in denver, this february has delivered the most snow in recorded history.
Smile when you say that!
