At the corner of Argue and Airport...
... everybody's looking for The Tunnel.
(We found the tunnel I was just telling you about and kept going until we got home. A 29-mile ride. Video in the tunnel... to come.)

Don't tell me Meadhouse quarreled over how to get home.
Say it ain't so.
In other news:
The Libya rebels--whoever they are (has the media given you any information about them?)--are in Tripoli and are reported to have captured Gad-Daffy's sons.
Obama was briefed today at Martha's Vineyard.
The motorcade for the victory lap is being organized.
But of course they have no idea what will happen next.
In other news, Caracas festers with solidarity for Chavez.
Libya: MISSION ACCOMPLISHED, followed by years of power struggle fights and bloodshed.
It's good to see old prople find companionship.
Somebody tell me, what exactly did we get out of this engagement and do they, by any chance, have anything to do with whatever our objectives were?
If we had any?
It would seem fitting that a TSA agent be located at every "corner of Argue and Airport".
"Somebody tell me, what exactly did we get out of this engagement and do they, by any chance, have anything to do with whatever our objectives were?"
We got another HUGE FOREIGN POLICY COUP by our AWESOME PRESIDENT BARACK OBAMA, like when he personally iced OSAMA BIN LADEN.
2012 is in the bag, baby!
They're still standing up. More nice weather ahead.
Peter
You need to take the bike path that has "the bridge to nowhere" as my dad puts it.
It is between Springfield Corners and Sauk.
And yes, there is literally a bridge to nowhere.
You can blame the commie Kathleen Faulk, of Dane County, for that horror.
I went to Merrimac, Merrimac Ferry, Devils Lake and finally to Okee tonight. It was so pretty. Prettiest part of Wisconsin, although I have never been to Madeline Islands.
Tits and Clouds.
I can't wait to get back to Mass. Martha's Vineyard, absolutely divine. Did you all know there is a rich black part of MV?
I am in transit. But, I can see the Libya news live (http://english.aljazeera.net/watch%5Fnow/). Why is it that we can get that Alazaeera live everywhere free on the planet but we cannot even get CNN live or any game live free on US tv? Why? Are we not as advanced as the Middle East?
Why is NYT asking us to pay to read while many newspapers welcome us free (wash post) just by login?
Is American going downhill? Is American Press, the left stronghold, really the worse?
NB: Obama-Biden will win in 2012, because of the press.
I watched The Heiress last night and fucking loved it.
TCM was doing a Monty Clift day. God he was gorgeous.
Olivia De'Havilland, tour de force.
Montgomery-dreamy.
Do you know the reason that sisters Olivia and Joan Fontaine have not spoken in over 50 years? Because they were both nominated for an Oscar the same year and one won and the other didn't. How shallow.
Our stated objective was to avoid a humanitarian crisis and prevent slaughter of innocent Libyans. Not a bad objective though one that could be applied in some higher risk places than Libya.
We will see if we get a bloodbath.
The French (who need the oil) have a strong interesting in seeing that one does not happen. They can be pretty ruthless. Expect some Chinese activity. These rebels were getting arms somewhere. The Chinese? It's great the media has been on top of this (Libya? That still going on?) so we can be well informed.
Bike commute today, videos of stills
Party Balloon wind and beans.
Ohio Clouds
Comping for yourself
Look at the pics of Obama in MV.
The people are so fab there. Thin, gorgeous, rich, likely educated at fab schools (I know gross). But still So beautiful.
There really is something to be said for excellent breeding.
I came from crap breeding but fortunately because I am hot and now married to fab. breeding. Yes, it is brownie and third world, but in that world it is very very high in the caste system.
I am very insecure but did really expect that I would marry rich and hot, natch.
They're still standing up. More nice weather ahead.
Yeah, but what about the dark clouds in that picture? Something tells me your cow knowledge doesn't match you're crotch knowledge, Peter.
My favorite tunnel is where Sepulveda Boulevard goes under the main runway of LAX. It's not dark--beautifully lit, actually. It's been in lots of movies. Just the idea of those giant airplanes landing over your head is thrilling.
