And now the ground details are fading from the aerial photos, due to those new leaves on the trees. Shoulda flew it last week.

This video goes out to the guy in a previous thread who claimed that Social Security disability payments were some sort of bribe to keep "urban core" from rioting.

I don't get all the cafe references. Where is the coffee here? What am I missing?

For anyone (like Titus) not familiar with Poplar, WI and Senator Bob Jauch, I offer a photo of the Senator on my Travel blog post from the Solon Springs 11th of July parade last year.

Note that this was well before democracy died in Wisconsin.

Titus, this will probably make you feel much more kindly toward a relocation to the artsy part of the NorthWoods.

@Mike, Here's a guess--If a topical Althouse comment thread is a virtual cocktail party, a cafe thread is the all-night diner the guests stop at on the way home.

Wow PH.. Was that a real news story?

Thats a good way to put it Chip S.

Lem, I hope you didn't miss tonight's Sox game.

Lem Vibe Bandit said...

Two straight walk-off wins for the Sox, while on a 6 game winning streak. Can it get any better?

Well, Bard could stop giving up bombs.

Chip S. said...

I guess Prosser should just concede now, after that bombshell.

Lem, I would like to think that the story was from the Onion, but it appears to be real.

Link.

A Madison man read the blog and filed a complaint.

Beware..

This is what can happen when Althouse constantly blogs about one story... It got Madisonman all wrapped up in it ;)

MM - It would be if this was about partisan advantage. It's not. It's about following the law no matter who you are.

Records from the Government Accountability Board show Malszycki voted in Onalaska on Nov. 2, 2010, and Nov. 4, 2008, at the same time she had a home in Madison and worked at the state Capitol. Messages left with Malszycki by email, phone and Facebook weren't returned.

The problem with that GOP aide is that it took her two separate elections days in 2008 and again in 2010 to vote again.. in other words, Malszycki has been caught voting one time per election cycle.. clearly.

Her lack of voting shows a carelessly lazy attitude towards the democratic process.

Seriously though.. Madisonman point is well taken.
The very people now fighting voter ID want this woman prosecuted for voting at the wrong county..

How do they know she voted in the wrong county?

The woman IDENTIFIED herself all over the place.

Like the pic, Madame.

A little more sunlight, rather than overcast, in back and it would scream, "Summer!".

(I know, you don't control the sun; although some people...)

Prediction: Socialist IMF rapist Dominique Strauss-Kahn will be released from jail today on $1 million cash bail and a $5 million bond.

He will subsequently flee back to France to join pedophile child rapist Roman Polanski living notoriously as free rapists - claiming he can't get a fair trial owing to all the publicity surrounding his case. (Publicity it should be noted that is being drummed up by his own lawyers, who hold a press conference every day.)

And once again, a rich liberal Socialist will put use US taxpayer dollars to get out of jail, and get away with a rape to live Scot-free amongst the French.

TJ Sawyer: I love those small town celebrations. We always try to get to one on the 4th of July. A few years ago, I even got to march in one in Mellen.

If you're participating in writing a law about Voted ID, you should be more careful about when and where you vote. I don't know the whole story of course, but anything approaching within a county mile of something ironic will get my attention.

Patrick said...

So, Madison Man, are you a voter ID supporter then? she coulda helped Prosser close the gap in Dane county ya know..

And really, shouldn't everybody be more careful about where they vote? But we just shouldn't verify it. I'm sorry, was that the irony to which you referred?

MadisonMan said...

And really, shouldn't everybody be more careful about where they vote?

Yes. And the government should make it very very easy for people to vote.

"And the government should make it very very easy for people to vote."

Not at the expense of trust in the system.
