Seven,

Brilliant argumentation.

You be smart.

Dude on the left side of the middle picture has really got the revolutionary look going on. He's doing some serious raging against the machine.

I was going to bring up how all those people are so scarily white. But at some point that obvious fact becomes trite.

An Insurrection is not a "protest". Those Grim faces look very close to murderers.

That comment was gay. Not just gay, but totally Ghey, too.

There. Now that we don't have that hanging over our heads anymore, we can move on to something else.

When I see these pics why does the movie line "What are you going to do about it, whitey?" come to mind?

Hmmmm.

He's doing some serious raging against the machine.

And totally oblivious to the fact that he is part of "the machine". LOL

I've always been against this bill, but these protesters are obnoxious. And now, there are confirmed reports that state property has been destroyed--a number of windows have been broken. Good job, guys. This had been mostly peaceful, but now it's gone over the line.

Or, rephrased, "how many fairies can dance on the head of a pin?"

Moustache and chin beard is a pretty reliable sign that the wearer is on the nutty side.

They can't be gay. Clearly they don't even understand fashion!

Union Protesters mob reporter, and interrogate; Accuse him of being a 'narc'

And no, it wasn't Meade.

edward said...

first gay comment? welll that was you oh mighty intellectual one.....

Come on tell us how this is about free speech rather than the unions fighting to confiscate teacher's pay.....

Or that the taxpayer doesn't have a say in this issue??

You're best is "who's first with the gay comment?"

This professor's intellectual underpinnings tremble with the mightiness that is Pbandj. Or perhaps I am just chortling with glee.

BTW, that middle picture is really good. Change it black and white and it would look very dramatic and consequential, like a scene from an art house film about the Spanish Civil War or something.

In my book, Pb&J gets credit for changing his login ID from 1jpb to PB&J after we gave him that nickname.

Plus he is not enormously dumb like FLS.

Maguro -- I have a picture of myself that is just me getting a shoeshine in another country with a white wall in the background. Boring and bland. But I made it black and white and a little grainy and I swear it now looks for all the world like some charged political atmosphere where there is danger and revolution in the air.

Weird.

Anonymous said...

Is it 1jpb? I always liked that guy.

Okay now - this is for reals.

Everyone - spend just 1 minute - but 1 FULL minute - imagining the "tea party" doing anything like these self-centered, regular-folks-taxpayers-be-damned protesters are right now.

Think it through.

Does ANYONE else believe that the President of the United States would comment about it and encourage everyone to act "civilized"? That newspapers including the New York Times would not berate and belittle the protests? Even go so far as to claim that tea partiers are trying to "undo a legally democratic election", that they aren't acting in the interests of Democracy?

You know all of things happened already when people merely stood at town halls and interrupted their representatives. The papers warned against violence - Violence! - and yet not a negative comment about the left wing mobs and the danger they pose.

"Balanced media", pbAndj's ass!

And by the way, pbAndj, I started the lesbian comments 4 posts back to see how long it would take to get a rise out of the lefties here.

Thanks for obliging so well.

It's tough to satisfy you folks.

Don't go changin' to try and please me, 1jpb.

You never let me down before.

Honestly, I always liked the pb&j. It seemed funny.

After seeing the various versions of ritmo,it finally dawned on me that I could make my own change.

AA's conservatives showing their keen acuity, proving once again why AA has the best political blog on the net lol.

AA seriously, do you cringe when one of your followers like Robert, shows his true aptitude.

take care

Nobody told Scott Walker that the Lion's Roar could be done through a bullhorn. He concedes his defeat!

Shiloh, I got a question for you.

Suck my dick.

That's not actually a question, but what are you going to do about it?

Com'on you two, tell me how these protesters are "standing up to the man".....

For future reference, the whole "look at these uncivil monsters" bit is only believable when you actually sound like a voice of reason and not an idiot troll that responds to people being punched by telling them to go call the "whambulance".

Also, "keen acuity" is redundant, the root of acuity is acute, which is a synonym for keen. On top of that, "true aptitude" doesn't seem to make any sense in the context you are using it in.

Don't try to sound eloquent, it's always a disaster because you don't have the intellectual firepower to pull it off.

SP, as long as you are hangin' on my every word. Like many others here.

Shiloh loses his first bout with his Thesaurus. Its a common mistake that most students make in high school.

amplus -a -um 9. (of orators or their diction) impressive by reason of copiousness or sonorousness. 10. (of a word or phrase) Full of meaning, having a strong, precise, or definite meaning. 11. Comprehensive, all-embracing, large; unrestricted, full. 12. Important, esp. by reason of its wide range or comprehensiveness.

How different Cicero would be with a bullhorn and chants.

Will some humorist take over a bullhorn and read out the first oration against Cataline. Is there a Latin teacher.

Breaking windows solves the unemployment problem. It's a well known economic principle.

It would have been cooler to come down the chimney, though.

Kevin said...

The guy with the Bullhorn in the end is John Nichols, an editor and columnist at the Capital Times of Madison.

So much for objectivity of the press from him.

(Yes, being sarcastic there.)

Kevin, good catch. A news man as protester.

Sigh.
