Yes lady, we shrugged. We don't want to work and pay taxes 'til we're 65 so you can retire at 50. Take your sign, go home, and be grateful you have the job we pay you to do.
If they capture Walker coming in to work tomorrow morning, will they use a Guillotine on him? Governor Walker and the lawful legislators may have to flea the State to Illinois and use the paid for resort rooms of the rioting mob's instigator Dems that are coming back tonight to foment rebellion against lawful authority.
Is it just me, or is the leftist contingent here tonight particularly awful?
1.) They lost.
2.) Fully three-quarters of them still haven't quite managed to wrap their pitiably stunted intellects around the concept that they have, in fact, lost.
3.) The remaining one-fourth remain serenely and supremely clueless as to WHY they have lost.
I think that the thing that is the most pathetic about so many of the signs I see in the photos is their total disconnect from reality. It is as if those with the signs don't believe that people looking at the signs realize that it is the government union workers versus the taxpayers of the state.
For example, one says "Stop the attack on Wisconsin Families". Huh? The attack on Wisconsin families is coming from the government unions, not the Republicans here. They just don't seem to get the fact that the money that they are demanding, directly or indirectly, comes from the pockets of those Wisconsin families not lucky enough to have a government sinecure.
First, I just want to say that I appreciate the way that you have covered this issue, having a position but refusing to give into the "we're pure; they are evil" characterizations.
Second, not too many of these latest protesters look like employed state workers concerned about their pensions, if you know what I mean.
Protester pictures and PbandJ commenting who could want for more. theives and liars, but who is who?
as a Wisconsinite Boy I am soooo proud of my state tonight..... As one who taught in Wisconsin and was forced for years to sit while my pay was confiscated...... I want my money back.
Does the dingbat with the "Atlas Shrugged, workers mugged" have a clue how incredibly stupid she appears to people who understand the significance of "Atlas Shrugged"?
I dreamed I saw John Galt last night, Alive as you or me, 'But John,' I cried, 'You're anti-Red,' 'I never yielded to the anti-mind, anti-life (87 pages redacted) who refuse to see that A is A,' said he.
That's a pretty well-heeled proletariat you have up there in 'Sconsin, with their North Face and Columbia coats.
The people that wear Carharts are in bed because they have to get up in the morning to make money that can be forcibly taken from them and given to these wailing shit-heads.
You know, I wasn't all that annoyed before, but these people are starting to get to me.
Mainly the factor now is "How dare these people present themselves as "the worker"?"
The workers demand the "right" to have a Union automatically take money from every paycheck, or require they join to have a job?
Well, if your cushy job depends on limited entry and controlling competition, I suppose you might want that.
But "the workers" don't.
Which is why private sector unionism is moribund and still sinking, despite all the laws passed to make it easier than it should be to unionize.
(Part of me suspects that pro-union stridency - among people who aren't actually in one or part of a union family - is just a cultural leftover from the 20s and 30s that somehow hasn't just died the death it's long deserved.)

White people are so cute when they are angry.
White lesbians are so cute when they are angry - NOT!
"Fists and uvulas waving..."
Man, did I read that wrong when I first saw it.
Lesbian uvulas!

I had the same thought. Though I also thought of the protesters waiving and blowing those horn thingies from last year's World Cup...
CHAAAAAOOOOOOSSSSSSSSS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!111!!!!!!11!!!!!111!
P.S.
It's a good thing that Althouse doesn't care about her commentors attacking and personally demeaning folks who can't defend themselves.
These pictures are great fodder! Keep em coming, folks here will keep the insults flowing.

Yeah. I was thinking, "Ok, this is going in a direction I didn't expect."
What Blair said.
pbAndj - you lost. Suck it up.
Titus would love this thread. Vulvas waving...
the crowd is angry and overwhelmingly white
will the media notice?

Hey, if they didn't want to be made fun of, they shouldn't have been born so funny looking.
PbJ - stop sucking my balls.

All the dedicated ones are hanging out with the Angry Lesbians at the protest. It's only the understudies, now.

It's not you Seven.
What's missing is HDHouse and fls - people that can reason 3 or 4 steps, even if they're on the wrong side of the issue.
Tonight's losers haven't even made it to the starting line yet.

Good times. Good times.

So, looks like the cops are now trying to close the building?
The Atlas Shrugged sign is a laugher... I wonder if its bearer is familiar with the character Fred Kinnan in that novel.
BTW - Ann and Meade - great job, again, and keep it up.

Probably not. My guess is she's a teacher.

Thank you again for your coverage. I've always loved brats and cheese curds but I had no idea WI could be so entertaining!

If she's a union teacher I doubt she ever read the book.
If I was Walker, I'd show up in the morning and walk right through the crowd. He needs to act like he has a yard of dick, and a bag full of balls.
