The Goddamn UTTER FOOL--THIS IS WAR!!--in ALL its aspects:cultural, political--you name it. Indeed, for the very soul of our civilization. And in war "there is no substitute for victory." The man is an educated ass.."educated beyond his intelligence," as it were..
Maybe Barnett needs a dose of Tim Tebow's confidence. When a reporter asked Tebow how he would face up to an NFL defense, his reply was, "I will fear no evil". When Barnett lets lies go unchallenged, he is surrendering.
Agree with ScottM, Virgil and NotYourTypical, you can't let other people rattle on, but Ron is also correct. A good moderator (surprisingly, Bill O'Reilly is good at this) will make sure everybody gets his/her shots in.
...and Hannity is horrible at it. Aside from his broken-record style of debate, he allows shrill crosstalk more as the rule than the exception. Unlistenable/unwatchable.
You know, I should amend my comments. "The gloves came off a long-time ago" for the other side only. Conservatives in general and Republicans in particular have too long allowed themselves to be cowed by the left for fear of being labeled neanderthals "not worthy" of polite company by a civic culture pretty much dominated by the "progressive" left which uses the potential charge of "racism" as the foundation upon which it's cultural offensive is founded. Everything flows from that. The right has only just now at long-last become largely inured to such charges and is timidly contemplating peeling off the gloves. Rush has been a voice in the wilderness in this, but now has allies among active politicians like Chris Christe and L. Col West..
I'm glad you made that update as that's what I was thinking. Conservatives are finally developing a thick skin to such charges mainly because it's been used so much the card has been maxed out. It doesn't hold the power it once did. Secondly, it's amusing to a great degree to watch the left try and deal with tastes of their own medicine.
Sure, Rush was out there early, but he had three things working completely against him in an environment that existed where such things were liabilities: rich, white, and male.
But to do so whenever a progressive makes a factual error would mean it would take days, if not weeks, to parse a one page answer to a simple question.

Well, probably, but have you ever listened to the loons that actually call CSPAN?
Agreed with Robin. The time for kid gloves is past.
Jumping in seems to be the only way these days.

I tend to blame the moderator...they are normally better than this, but he gave Lazerus enough rope to hang himself, and I feel he did.

And we should shut up anmd stop complaining if we choose to fiddle politely while Rome burns.
So to speak.
Liberals Democrats always get to talk at least 50% more than conservatives Republicans. Time the Sunday talk shows and see if I'm not right.

Oh I've put the stop-watch to them for years, dreams. Yours is more than just a casual observation..
@Virgil

It's an offshoot of Alinsky - they expect we will always be good little ladies and gentlemen (like the Bushes) and let them get away with it.
I love to see people like Andrew Napolitano or Ann Coulter get right back in their faces - that's when the Lefties start whining about civility.
Of course he should have jumped in.

Should he "just have jumped in" to get his points across...?
I don't know. Personally, I found Lazarus' arguments to be weak. I think it was better to just let him talk.
