I have two questions about your BFF in the teaparties, specifically their borderline fascistic cheering over getting someone who wasn't representing GEICO at the time fired.
2. Did FreedomWorks break the law by recording their phone conversation apparently without his consent? I believe he lives in CA; here's the CA Penal Code about that, and here's a case from 2006. When calling from another state into CA, CA's "both parties must give consent to be recorded" law applies.
Nice group of people you've gotten yourself mixed up with.
Mayapples too. (on video) Providing porch umbrellas for the wee folk. Along with healing power for humans
According to wiki, Mayapple contains podophyllotoxin, which is used as a cytostatic and topically in the treatment of viral and genital warts.
Who'd have guessed?
But wait, there's more..."a possible treatment for cancer is being tested as it contains podophyllin, which has an antimiotic effect (it interferes with cell division and can thus prevent the growth of cells)".
All this in a poisonous plant (except for the fruit)growing underfoot. Toxicity and healing potential in the same stem.

I dunno, but the news reports from yesterday indicate that he left a voicemail for them, and I'm pretty sure answering machines are not against the law.
@ Balfegor 9:09 re the telephone recording without permission.
I have heard and read (I am not a lawyer and don't pretend to be one) that it is legal in somewhere around 37 states to record a telephone call of which you are a party without the other person's knowledge. If the call crosses state lines, I would think the most restrictive law would apply. But who am I to say? ;-)
Look it up.
If I've understood this correctly, the illegal version (wiretap?) thing is recording people's calls which you did not initiate or receive -- which you are not a party of -- without their (joint) permission.
Less possibility of a snake surprise on the beaten path.
In the brush, the garter snakes in our area tend to wait until the threat is very close before slithering away in a sudden rustle of foliage. They are harmless, but I don't enjoy the surprise.
Skookum John: thank you for reinforcing my point that libertarian/tea partier types have a fascistic streak a mile wide. That doesn't mean that others don't too, it's just an indictment of the current state of the right.
Balfegor: thank you for reinforcing my point that libertarian/tea partier types are idiots. I wasn't referring to the voice mail; that's a separate issue. I'm referring to youtube.com/watch?v=VWI0SBglGN0 where they record a call to the GEICO guy apparently without his consent and apparently the GEICO guy is in CA. See the last two links in my earlier comments; those seem to indicate the FreedomWorks may in fact have broken the law.
Odd how Althouse or other blawgers (AFAIK) haven't "weighed in" (as they say).

Hadn't read about that. Seems a bit like gratuitous piling on there, since he'd already demonstrated how stupid he was with the voicemail. But yes, that could be against the law.
Well then Lonewacko, where do you come down on the project by the left-wing homosexual lobby in California to identify all the donors to Prop 8 and get as many of them fired as possible? If I'm a fascist, so are they.

Purty!
Lush.
Looks familiar.
Isn't that one of the trails where you cross-coutry ski?
In the winter, without all the leaves and flowers, of course.
What a lovely path - so inviting.
This is in Governor Nelson Park, pictured in winter here (February 20).
Reminds of the woods at the edge of Haverford College and the walk down to the duck pond.
Ann, you can really turn my head around. I don't know if those were the good old days, but there are times I miss them.
Is the Geico Gecko a Tea Party crasher too?
And we are the haters?

1. Is the victim's claim about FreedomWorks having committed tortious interference correct?

To make it easier, here's another article about the 2006 case.
Looking back and down, I am wondering where traditionalguy is.
Missing your wisdom, tradguy.
Beautiful!

Trout lilies look great.
Hey Lonewacko-- It's all Alinsky all the time now. If I could get your sorry commie ass fired too, I'd do it.
Althouse says, "Trout lilies everywhere".
Everywhere but the 'beaten path'...
And I am not so sure you like that way either, Althouse?
That is not the road less traveled.
That's a really well maintained path!
Almost makes you want to believe in government services again. Almost.

On topic, that is a lovely looking footpath. Makes me want to go walking in Rock Creek Park over here.

That's because you're beneath their notice, Chris. :)

Bear in mind that he divides Americans into two groups:
(1): People who obsess about illegal immigration to the same extent and in the same manner that he does, and
(2): Fascists, nazis, and morons.
