It's no wonder you and Meade stay at four-star hotels.

As the poor imitation of Health Care Takeover legislation is being waived around by the Obamacans in Congress as a distraction, the goal they have been determined to reach all along is raising its head. These Mind Control reliant Democrats are planning to pass a Tax of all taxes on the use of America's abundant oil, gas, and coal to "cure our Environmental Problems and save the planet". Another way to put that is that Obama and his Party are determined to destroy the USA forever for an announced reason that is worse than having a settled belief in the existence of the Easter Bunny.

The previous comment came to mind from seeing the snow job done to Madison.

Penny said...

No worries, tg. Something tells me, this Madison, she can take a lot of snow. Better yet, some of her citizens have taken up cross country skiing when they aren't shoveling out.

Hearty lot, these midwesterners.

I think honesty is an ideal we hold in our hearts but never fully realize. Some run from it, and perhaps they should, because while the truth can be beautiful it can also be terrifying. Others seek it out as a being possessed, looking for an instrument of destruction to mortify themselves and others.

So, to be honest, this picture looks nothing like honesty or truth. It's just some trees in a field, covered by snow. Perhaps that should be the name of the piece, as a lodge of honesty is nowhere anyone could stand to exist.

They're going to do cap-and-trade somehow? In an election year? I thought saving the Environment had already been killed. As I've said, I think the word, "repeal", is going to become one of our favorites.

Never ever begin an answer with "To be honest, ..." or "To tell you the truth, ...".

Especially when testifying.

Hey, that works well enough for me, chickelit.

Wonder how they juice up the message for those living at the poles?

As Tom Bosley always said, always look at the magician's other hand. The devious ClowardPiven scheme and the scheme to cut into the profits of Koch Industries are just distractions.

I'd like to reveal the truth about their plans, but I can't at this moment. Let's just say I don't want to "harp" about what's going on up their in Alaska. I don't want to make "waves", even ones you "can't hear". If I told you the truth it would "control your mind", like playing a "harp" in the key of two A's. Did you hear that? I guess not, because it was too "low frequency".

But, seriously, a congressman recently laughed after being asked to say the Pledge of Allegiance. What you can do about it is at the link.

Honest, I didn't do that. No, really, honestly, I did not do that. Some other dude did it. Not me, honestly.

It seems you have to be interested enough to click the samples yourself.

Well first of all I think anyone who actually lives at the poles is probably a research scientist who signed on for the long cold slog-but still...

As for those living closer to the Arctic circle?

Chinooks up? (sorry if that's not PC)

Lem said...

At the To-Be-Honest Lodge

The idea that people not only seek to live in the arctic (as scientist do) but are naturally born there; live and die there and seem happy there.. leads me to believe we are not alone.

I mean there is life out there beyond our planet Sherlock. I'm so sure I'm willing to bet on it.

We are going to be debating whether or not self awareness is an evaluational prophecy/trait (or some other anomaly) for a while..

But in the mean time the fact that I'm self aware makes me bet on self awareness.

call me crazy.

Sticking mirrors up against faces is a great hobby. Who here, including the Blogger, can disagree?

I suspect many here "At the To-Be-Honest Lodge" will not be ballsy enough to come out and say so.

Lem said...

Hello.

Is anybody out there?

Catharine you are coming in loud and clear ;)

We need to wake up this mass of sleepy heads.

Lem said...

Don't Smoke In Bed..

Smoking is not like oral sex.. Althouse likes to play with our heads..

Lem said...

I hope relief comes soon!

Girl you'll be a woman soon..

They never get tired of putting' me down
And I never know when I come around
What I'm gonna find
Don't let them make up your mind
Don't you know

Girl, you'll be a woman soon
Please come take my hand
Girl, you'll be a woman soon
Soon you'll need a man.

The Althouse message is get married... b4 is too late ;)

Lem said...

"I can't remember ever having a 'hero' when I was a kid, or at any other time."..

I will follow..

I was on the outside when you said
You said you needed me
I was looking at myself
I was blind, I could not see

A boy tries hard to be a man
His mother takes him by his hand
If he stops to think he starts to cry
Oh why

If you walkaway, walkaway
I walkaway, walkaway...I will follow

Send Her My Love.

I still recall a sad cafe
How it hurt so bad to see her cry
I didn't want to say goodbye

(chorus)
Send her my love
Memories remain
Send her my love
Roses never fade
Send her my love

The same hotel
The same old room
I'm on the road again
She needed so much more
Than I could give
We knew our love could not pretend
Broken hearts can always mend

Lem said...

Oh, piffle. No, it isn't... and that's nonsense.

Althouse is married.. and then there is the way she chose to marry... some sort of legal secrecy. (she could not even video post it to us her loving fans)

The message is get married.. I'm married.. marriage is good.

Don't go crumbling on me Catharine.

Lem said...

I'm never going to forgive Althouse for not letting us in on the ceremony... she claims she found Meade in the comments.. but did she marry Meade in the comments? NO!

Edge Of Seventeen

I went today... maybe I will go again...
Tomorrow
And the music there it was hauntingly...
Familiar
And I see you doing...
What I try to do for me
With the words from a poet...
And the voice from a choir
And a melody... nothing else mattered

Just like the white winged dove...
Sings a song...
Sounds like she's singing...
ooo baby... ooo... said ooo
Just like the white winged dove...

Ooo baby... ooo... said ooo

Here is a song that can conveniently mean something to the artist that created it.. The power of the song however its obviously beyond her control.. the further she goes searching for an answer at the pyramids or wherever it is that we goes searching for answer these days ;)

Lem said...

its very simple..

The song is about having a voice..

its freedom of speech.

Lem said...

How can a song about people dying can be so upbeat?

come on! We are at the honest lodge?

I love Stevie Nicks but for heavens sakes don't go explaining a song like that when its obvious that you are just making it up!

Lem said...

I remember when i was little my father invited this couple to preach in church.. The wife came up fist and she sang a song and then unexpectedly (I grew up in this so I know whats unexpected and waht is unexpected) she asked that we look up a verse in the bible and we read along with her..

She told us that God had told her to read this verses to us.. After reading she passes the microphone to her husband and he proceeded in dramatic terms (I cannot possibly describe here because it would betray that maybe I'm questioning my own faith witch I'm not)..
how his wife had just read the passage in the bible that God had given to him to preach to us from.

I was about 15, 16 tops and I thought.. God talks separately to a husband and wife?

Here is the thing.. I was not impressed by the coincidence that they wanted to read from the same verse in the bible.

Waht I was impressed by was the idea that God was behind talking separately to a husband and a wife.

"You can’t be using the church just to get elected and then push the church to the side."

Little Wing

Well shes walking through the clouds
With a circus mind that's running round
Butterflies and zebras and moonbeams and fairy tales
That's all she ever thinks about
Riding with the wind.

When Im sad, she comes to me
With a thousand smiles, she gives to me free
Its alright she says its alright
Take anything you want from me, anything
Anything.

Fly on little wing,
Yeah yeah, yeah, little wing

"And the ice talks to the river
And the geese talk to themselves
Will they fly all night if there's no place to land?

A place to land is open water
And open water he can't use
When it's hard enough to find a place to stand

When the ice gives in beneath you
You know it changes how you dream
And you will never be the same again
