A single apology is not enough? How about burning at the stake in the well of the House? No punishment will suffice for the crime of disrespect to the One.
How quickly the left has forgotten the mantra of Question Authority.
I think they might not get what they wish for if they keep pushing this.
Joe might want to say "I will apologize for my two words when the House expels Charles Rangel for his millions of dollars in hidden income. Until then, the House has no moral right to judge, as it cannot seem to see open, overt corruption in its very leadership."
The apology acceptance and "let's move on" happened while there was still that loophole which would give illegal aliens coverage. Now that they've been "caught" and that loophole will go away, yet another apology is in order from Wilson because NOW Obama isn't lying...*about that*.
Keep in mind that Wilson has only apologised for yelling out during the President's TV speech when he was only an audience member. Wilson has not admitted that his thoughts are a crime. The show trials are done as demonstrations to the population at large that a thought Crime has been confessed to by an enemy of the people. That is done as an example to thinkers that to speak out against the Official Reality is always punished.
I don't like his response. He should have said he'd apologize to the House when the people who booed Bush at the State of the Union address in 2005 apologize.
So let me see if I have this right - Pelosi and company are demanding continuous apologies from Joe Wilson (for telling the truth about Obama) but at the same time, they refuse to go after sleazebags like Rangle for tax evasion?
Gah, it's entirely too familiar. I get this at home all the time.
Honey, I already said I was sorry for forgetting to buy milk. I said I was sorry when I walked through the door. I am NOT apologizing over and over again until you feel that I have performed enough penance for my crimes. You get one and only one.

Good.
wv: vesseni "That word, I do not think it means what you think it means."
Oh, please, Speaker Pelosi, keep the pressure on. By all means, let's have talk of admonishment, censure, even expulsion.
Welcome to Novus Ordo Decorum

(Had to comment again just because that something I do know)
I sort of hope Pelosi et al. censure him. It will reveal their true nature for once and for all.
So you lied when you said my apology was accepted.

tjl: He was just speaking truth to power, because dissent is the highest form of patriotism.

Kel surprise, as they say in Paree; Pelosi goes back on her word. I guess Waxman and Murtha threw a hissy fit.

What is that Chinese "blessing?"
"May you live interesting times?"
Maybe Pelosi and ACORN will make the next couple weeks more intersting than some would want.
It might be actually entertaining, as we watch (quite frankly, hopefully) The Great Unraveling.
But perhaps we will have to wait.
Note to Republicans in Congress considering voting for the upcoming bills: Be afraid.
He should do what Studds did and turn his back to the Democrats.
Or apologize for "telling the truth, which is now a crime in this Democratic Congress"
I'll be cool with either.

Sauce for the goose.
Or maybe he could apologize, again, with his fingers crossed behind his back?
I did that as a kid and never went straight to hell for fibbing.

I can't help reading the post title as No real apologies.
