We had a falcon land on the deck about five feet from the back door yesterday. WASN'T QUICK ENOUGH WITH THE CAMERA...
He was really something, though, and the girls (5 and 2) really got a kick out of it. 'course they were the reason I wasn't quick enough with the camera.
Ah, well, I'll just take a picture of that part of the deck and photoshop a falcon in later...
In the name of Allah (PBUH), I worry for Ms. Althouse. You have angered Allah (PBUH) by fingering the snout of a dog. In Tabuk, we would cut off your hand and force your daugther to slap you with it for touching the unclean thing.

Oh please let them live!
Ann, those hands of yours would make even George Costanza envious.
Ticked off works very nicely on attached ticks. I've used one for years.
You need a rooster walking around to keep the ticks down.
Or go upscale and get pea hens.

It's the animals you don't see that should concern you.
Free range chickens. Or guinea hens.
Our dogs would be solid ticks after visiting my folks until they got some chickens from McMurray. (http://www.mcmurrayhatchery.com/)
The chickens roamed a couple of acres and the ticks disappeared. They stayed gone for a couple of years even after the chickens were gone.
I would like to get my 22 out and blast that deer and watch her guts fly all over the place.
Are you guys doing it?
Titus,
Shooting a doe in June, presumably in a residential area.
probably $2000 minimum and several months in jail.
That, and I'd recommend a .243 myself. A .22 might not bring it down right away unless you're a really good shot.
At least you didn't combine this with the post about Mrs. Madoff or we'd also be discussing leeches.
Most of my daddy long legs sightings are on my bathroom ceiling.
The rest are on my kitchen ceiling.

WTF? To kill it with a .22, you'd practically have to walk up and shoot in the skull execution-style.

Costanza wants Meade to touch him?

That is what I am talking about. I am hardcore like that sofa king.
Tick patrol a half hour ago.
