He's known for his terrible sweaters, terrible NPR-schmindie taste in white people music.
I went In Search Of...schmindie:
Unlike most genres, schmindie kids find caring “uncool” and “funny.” It is particularly uncool to care about war, politics, religion or anything else beyond clothes and haircuts / cigarettes and alcohol. Apathy and ignorance are their ideals. Therefore, we must create meaningless content that fills up hours of airtime while never actually saying anything.
So, wait -- emos? Or do emos care, but the problem is no one cares about them?
I was a bit thrown by "schmindie" as well, but of late I haven't been keeping up with the often-amusing (for New Yorkers anyway) Gawker. Who knows what hip neologisms I'm missing out on as we speak.
And yet, "schmindie" seems like the right kind of music for a guy who reminds me so much of Chris Elliott.
Good post, but I loved the link at the bottom: "Carly Fiorina Keeps Falling Up." It amazes me that people outside the computer industry take her seriously after she hosed up HP so badly.

What possessd him to wear that sweater on TV? And with the collar of a cheap white t-shirt peeking out? Yuck.

I don't much like Gawker, but an article linked to from the article Althouse linked to redeems its entire existence. Gawker: officially not totally useless since September 9th 2008!
Wolfson's schtick is goofy, but unfortunately for the Dems; he's also credible.
Not since Carville went to the dark side of K Street has a Dem operative exposed their war room mentality with so much glee.
