That couple walking down the road in such think fog...brrr...what about cars that can't see them until it's too late? I don't want to think about it.

I love living in the Deep South. Three days ago, I pulled in the plants for our first (let's hope the only) freeze of the year, and today it was in the low 70s. There's never a shortage of green in the landscape.

But I've lived where there are real seasons, and these pictures left me longing for some time up North. I miss the Berkshires, where we spent a couple of months during our Katrina evacuation.

Nice 'hood. Looks like one of those paintings... by that guy who's name I can't remember. You know "The painter of light"? That guy.

Art snobs say you're not supposed too but I like his pictures.
